The pots are sturdy. Each pot measures 7" deep with a 6 1/4" diameter.

A Good Choice

I selected 40 of these pots for an indoor herb garden where plants will be replaced as the herbs are harvested. These pots have a nice lip for lifting, are sturdy overall and large enough to allow the herbs in 4" pots to be easily transplanted. Also, the drain holes should help prevent over watering. I expect to reuse these pots a number of times.

Just What I Needed

I bought the 1 gallon trade size. to transplant my Tomato seedlings into larger pots. These worked extremely well, for that purpose. The were good quality pots and I can see using them for a number of years. I wish this same company made a pot just a little smaller and the same quality, I would hot hesitate in buying a lot of them, for seedlings that does not need the room that Tomatoes need.

Not 1 gallon containers

These pots will fit my needs just fine, but they are not gallon containers. Not even close. More like 2/3 of a gallon maybe.

Durable, small

These are very durable and I expect them to last like the poly pro pots my mom has had for 20 years. I was disappointed to see that they were so small. I see now that the description says the actual volume is smaller than 1 gallon, but still unfortunate. Other notes, these are relatively tall and skinny. They kind of fit neatly in a 1020 tray. The fit is a bit tight side-by-side. I wouldn’t consider these pro’s or cons, just good to know.

Very nice pots, but falsely advertised

These pots are very nice. Thick and sturdy and I see them lasting for many years. They're also tall and narrow, perfect for tomatoes. So why the 3 stars? False advertisement. First, they are not 1 gallon. Not even close. But I didn't care about that so much. I bought them for the height, which, according to the image, is 8.1". Well, they're not. They're exactly 7". More than 1" shorter than they claim and actually shorter than some of the other pots that I passed on because they were not as tall as these ones claimed to be. I needed tall pots for tomatoes, and these will work, but not as well as I thought they would.

Price Change?

Great product, nice and sturdy. I ordered 1 batch of them to check the quality and came back to order many more... but in the 8 days since my original order the price has gone from $CA 23.87 to $CA 49.56 What's up with that? Don't tell me exchange rate - that's actually gone in our favour a bit in the past week. Won't be ordering again if the new price holds, they're good, but not *that* good.
