Works fine

I wish a company would make fittings compatible with 4” s&d which most of us use for DC. They use their own id and od sizes so you’ll spend more on their adaptor .

Easy fox for using with two bathroom exhaust fans

Got this so as to join two bathroom exhaust fans pipes into one for going out of soffit. Zip tied pipes

Powertech has been my complete dust collection system

Hi am a huge fan of powertec products. Delivery is always on time , the plastic is extremely strong and the fit has always been spot on fantastic. If your starting a dust collection system these work extremely well

Great for ducting!

I needed a Y fitting to add to my ducting. I found this one, saw the price and figured I would take a chance. I worked perfect for my needs. I clamped on standard 4 inch hoses and and I was good to go! I do want to mention that I made sure not to over tighten the clamps holding the hose to the Y. Since this is plastic, I did not want to crack it.

Works great for my bathroom exhaust vents

I added an exhaust vent/light above our shower stall when I remodeled it with a rainforest shower head and I needed an adapter to allow both bathroom vents to exit through the single vent out the side of the house. Not exactly sure that it was designed for this application but it has worked great for the 3 months it's been in place, and I don't expect anything to change for the worse.

4 inch Y connector.

I also bought the 4 inch to 3 inch reducer thinking the reducer would slide into this Y connector. But it didn't, now I have to use a union to join these connectors together.

Don't fit together

Nothing fit together, I ordered several fittings and y's etc. I order an adapter and you would think it would fit onto the Y, or the Gate, but NO everything are the same size, so you need a coupler, but they don't sell a coupler, so now I either need to use a 4" piece of flex hose, (which makes the joint weaker) or I will need to design and print my own with my 3d printer.

Standard y

I have several products via powertec I use everyday in my dust collection system. They have not failed me yet. Though it would be nice to have a product with ground clamp as my collector tends to atract static electricity.

Sturdy splitter for vacuum system
