148030 6-Inch HSS Jointer Knives for Delta 37-190 took 3 packages to get one that was flat
I purchased the 148030 HSS knives for my delta 37-190. Then I saw the 148031 was a lower price and bought them as well for a back up. I took out the old delta blades and was about to install the 148030 when I noticed the concavity of the new blades. So I have returned them. I received also the 148031 and check the flatness of these blades and the two sets I purchased were both concave. I ordered a new set of 148030 and they were flat on the jointer bed and have installed them and they work well. I do not know what the differences are between the 148030 and 148031? I measured both with a micrometer and they are equivalent. I can not tell if the blades are different hardness. This seems to be an issue that others have found. Overall though, I have used the blades on hard and softwoods for over 100 bd ft and they work well. So 4 stars once I got the set that was flat

11/16 not 13/16
Knives are only 11/16 not 13/16, while they might still work, you are out 1/8” for future sharpening.

Very sharp and easy to install!
Great blades and fit perfectly in my Delta Jointer. They are really sharp and I can't believe how easy the wood glides over them. They leave a smooth face and edge everytime. Mine are held in with pressure plates, so I had to make sure they were even with the outfeed table. The blades are very straight and strong.

Very nice blades- fit the Delta 37-280
These fit the old Delta 37-280, also. Very nice two bevel edges, dead true, cut nicely. I was concerned about the thickness of these blades being 1/32 thinner, given the obnoxious blade clamping scheme of the 37-280. Fortunately, that is fine. I have nothing good to say about about the Delta 37-280; with a flexing fence, no outfeed table adjustment, no blade lifters, and a badly designed and manufactured clamping arrangement that tends to shift the blades it is , I plan on at least 2 hours of misery to get blades set via dial gauge with magnetic base. I highly recommend avoiding the 37-280 on the used market, at any price.

Low price low quality
I have a delta 37-866x. I just bought it used and the blades were damaged from rust. Rather than getting them sharpened I went to Amazon. Not many high quality of brands of blades but the difference is over x5 less than oem. I took my chances with a familiar name, powertec. To the point, the blades were the correct length, width and thickness. The problem is how they were sharpened. They were uneven. You can see that in the photos that the upper most blade had a thin grinding, the middle blade had too much grinding and the third blade was just right. The uneven sharpening was only on the ends of the blade. The middle part of each blade seemed to match up. They are usable but the blades are just not consistent. I'm limited to the middle 3" of the blade. You get what you pay for. I may add all fork or the $100+ and get the delta brand oem blades and get them sharpened by a pro. These blades looked like a noob sharpened them.

3 X the quality at the price.
I got an old Delta jointer from... has to be the 70's. The blades were pretty well rusted, and certainly could have been sharpened but the surfaces were a little uneven and for $15, these new blades were razor shop and perfectly flat. My jointer is running tons of material through without a problem. Certainly outperforming expectations at the price point. However if your blades are just a bit rusty or dull, but still perfectly flat try sharpening them first. Depending on the jointer you have, especially if they take this type of blade, leveling the new blades to the out-feed table can be painstaking.

Razor sharp out of the box, durable edge, great value
Be careful handling these! They're really sharp. And the price is low enough that I don't think I'm ever going to bother re-grinding jointer knives again, I'll just buy another set of these.

These blades are an excellent replacement for my jointer
These blades are an excellent replacement for my jointer. (Delta 37-190C) I bought it used and assume that the previous owner ran a bunch of nails through on the old blades. The quality of these blades is quite high for the price. Have since ran walnut, maple, birch and some pine through them and they all come out smooth as silk. Keep in mind, this review is based on the fact that I never run more than 1/16th passes, usually 1/32nd or less.

my husband is a contractor and he paid 8$ a blade to get them sharpened and the man wrecked them. I showed him these, we ordered them, he did the test and they passed with flying colors!! He spent more getting his old ones sharpened and then damaged, than ordering these brand new!

Good quality!
Arrived earlier than expected, better price than stores, was required to replace blades in jointer. They fit, they work the same as the original blades, I am very pleased with this product.

Great blades for the money
What can one say about three planer blades that hasn't been said before? The blades arrived sharp and worked well in my Delta 6" planer.
