Love it.
I bought this 5 years ago. I absolutely love it. Carrying in the woods feels sturdy and stable. Works perfectly. I especially like the thick, sturdy handles.

Good for the price
This log carrier is sturdy especially the way that the suede handles are attached. Works fine to haul a medium size pile of logs which is enough for me. Because it not actual suede, it wants to buckle in the wrong way after it's unloaded but that easily fixed, just straighten it out and add more wood!

Kindling carrier
I have plenty of free kindling that falls from my trees, but transporting it to the fireplace is awkward. Here's why this carrier works for that. Most log carriers have closed in ends. That's great for logs if most are the same length, but doesn't work for sticks that can be short or long and have forks and spindly ends trailing and sticking this way and that. Although I break up the sticks somewhat before bringing them in, sometimes final sizing (and breaking) takes place right at the fireplace. The open ends on this carrier are essential for my use. Although it's only 15" wide and will carry several smallish logs, that width is ideal for kindling, some pieces of which are just that length or shorter, but sometimes their wild ends can be a lot longer. The carrier is quite deep however, again accommodating several logs, but lots of kindling. Sometimes I use smaller sticks for my kindling and compress a load of them in my JawHorse vice to create log-like bundles, which I wrap with twine. Bundled this way, even the small sticks provide good kindling, but they need a fair amount of space when transported because the sticks are seldom straight. Two or three of my generous bundles fit in this carrier fine even though there's plenty of air between the bent sticks. If I'm carrying a smaller load, I can fold the sturdy canvas over and carry it under my arm. Since my loads are not heavy, these rolled leather handles work nicely and are comfortable, but might not be as comfortable (or durable) if you're carrying heavy logs. I don't know that I'd try to use this sort of carrier to carry large logs, but it would be fine for a small fireplace or fire pit and it's working really well for me to carry kindling.

C390 Canvas Log Carrier is perfect!
I use this every other day for wood and it works terrific. It is well made and sturdy, the length is perfect for carrying slightly longer logs without them sticking far out the side. The width is big enough for me to bring in a full armful without straining my hand to grasp the handles. I've been using it for four solid months now, and it's still perfect (if slightly dusty from the wood). Highly recommend. *Update on 28 March 2015: I've been using for over a year and a half now, and there are zero tears in the canvas. None of the seams are loose, the suede leather handles show normal wear from lifting while I'm wearing gloves (I guess some folks had their handles tear and didn't bother to use the lifetime guarantee?), and the rivets are just as solid as the day I received it. I live in Montana and heat my house with a wood-burning stove, so I use this almost daily from October through April/May (depending on how long the cool weather lasts). I use it for splitting/stacking wood outside my house, and to carry smaller kindling-sized pieces and medium split pieces into the wood rack next to the stove. I've overloaded it without issue. It's worth every penny, and I'm considering getting a second one just to use outside.

Couldn't have chosen anything better!
I chose this product for the quality of canvas and the robust handles. I was NOT disappointed! The carrier arrived earlier than expected and so far has held up to many, many trips of firewood fetching without even a hint of damage or 'wear and tear.' The canvas is thick and reminds me of old-fashion canvas camping tents and Army surplus gear. The handles are firm, made of leather, and are attached to the canvas with sturdy rivets. Absolutely nothing on this log carrier feels cheap or of poor quality. The only thing that would make this product even better is if it came with a base or frame of some sort; however, even without it, it's a fantastic purchase. I would recommend this product to others. *** UPDATE - JAN. 5, 2015 *** We've used this product heavily since purchasing it Nov. 2012. "Heavily" meaning: I like a nice, big, 4-5 hour fire at least 4 days a week all throughout winter in the Pacific Northwest. Oof! That's a lot of wood hauling! Even so, this carrier feels and works as good as it did when we first purchased it. The handles are still in great condition - absolutely NO fraying or deterioration in stitching or rivets. The canvas is still stiff and has held up its rugged performance. We couldn't be happier with this purchase!!

non-traditional use
I have wanted a log carrier like this for a long time to use to store my hammock and works perfectly. I have a traditional hammock with wooden spreaders. I like to store my hammock when it is not being used, I hate leaving it up all the time because inevitably when I go to lay in it, it's a little damp. Using a log carrier to store the hammock up off the ground is a perfect solution. Just put a screw in the wall of my shed and now the hammock is high and dry. As far as the log carrier, I will say that when it arrives it looks small, but that is because of the packaging. When I opened the package...it looked much bigger than I pictured; though it is the perfect size for my needs. The handles do not feel all that sturdy, but the canvas body sure does. If you are going to use this for traditional uses, keep in mind that the handles may not be able to carry a full load. Other than that, it's a great purchase for the price.

Rivited handles.. medium load is fine
Worried about the handles lasting in the long run. Leather rivited to canvas. Just don't over fill it. Easier on your back since it carries a medium load. I only burn 1 cord a year for comfort. This works fine. Ping me in 2 years to see if the rivited handles held up.

It carries firewood so you don't have to
Best thing since sliced bread... actually best thing since bringing a friend camping with you that will carry your firewood in this thing

Works well, bad colour choice
Works well but a darker colour would make more sense. It's very nice-looking when it's brand-new and I guess it doesn't matter if gets dirty but it's too bad it is a soft off-white canvas colour.

It does the trick
It certainly seems to work well for me, it makes splitting a lot less messy.
