Still kicking after ~5 years
Looked at this thing the other day and realized it’s been pretty damn good. I’m most impressed with the carrier. It has reliably carried 20-30 lb. loads of cordwood from the shed to the stove for years.

Nice log holder
I like this holder. It is not the most sturdy but it works and if it is not abused I expect it to last. It looks great and fits right where I needed it to be. If you don’t overload this stand with wood it will hold up.

I am writing this review because I would like to provide useful feedback to people who shop online. 1st-remember that pictures can be deceiving......2-anything that you purchase online that's measurable will almost always have specifications, measurements! Measure out what you want and measure out what's provided in the specs and then there won't be any gray areas. 3rd- you get what you pay for. If you Searched and purchased the cheapest product available, that's what you're going to get. The "leather" carrier looks like a brushed suede leather. Now is it really leather? I don't know and for advertising purposes the handles could be made of leather and companies can say the whole carrier is leather! I do know it looks and feels strong..... I don't expect the carrier to be "full grain leather"!!! I will admit that the price is a little high but I am pleased overall with the purchase and it looks great! Will it last for a long time? Probably not, I do know I just love shopping from my home and have learned to shop smart when looking online! I have provided a couple pics for you to "see" ????

Good log holder, convenient styling. But NOT a leather carrier.
If you're looking for a small, compact log holder with a functional wood carrier, this is a good bet. Nothing fancy, and it doesn't hold a HUGE amount of wood. Probably enough for a solid 2-3 hour fire. Remember, it's designed to hold one carrier's worth of wood so if you are looking for something that will hold enough for a whole day's worth of fire, you don't want this. The carrier itself we received is NOT leather. It's a strong nylon-lined carrier with a faux suede exterior. Truth be told, I'd rather have this than a sub-par leather carrier. My parents have a canvas one that's lasted them for years, and I expect this will perform similarly. That said, the false statement of a leather carrier is why I removed a star. All in, I'm happy with this. The style works well with our decor, and it assembled easily. I expect that it should last us a good long time.

Attractive & functional but a bit small for my needs
Just received this & it seems the company listened to previous complaints concerning construction. It came with 8 bolts & 8 nuts to secure the sides to the base & seems sturdy. It holds & transports the wood well, but my only issue is the small size. The only reason I ordered this is because my current log tote is nowhere to be found after moving to our new house. It was much longer & held more wood which translates to less frequent trip out into the elements you're trying to escape from. the leather construction of the tote is nice. The smaller steel tubing is adequate for the amount of wood the tote will hold. Nice unit, but by this time next year I will have a larger tote custom made that will accommodate logs that fill up our wide fireplace.

Great idea. Poor execution
Pros: 1. Looks nice, design is appealing 2. Allows you to carry in wood and store in the same sling so you aren’t restacking Cons 1. Too small. Does not hold enough wood for a full night of fire 2. Frame is very cheap metal with a powder coating 3. Sling gets disgusting the first time you set it on the ground to pick up wood. It’s just fabric, so it soaks up stains and dirt and water, so be careful where you set it down 4. Price to quality ratio is way off. If this was a $30 item, it’s a four to five star item, but at $70+ dollars I would expect a treated leather sling and an actual well made thicker steel frame. Even the wood dowels that go into the sling are cheap, untreated hobby grade wood

I like the look of it, not sure how it will hold up long term. distance between 2 sides seems a bit narrow, but no issues so far filling it up to the top with logs

More decorative than functional
Not super sturdy. Leather seems a little light. Have been only using a couple weeks and the side arms are starting to bend . Also, metal where side arms attach are only 2 bolts, and one was cut short and only had one bolt hole which could be causing some of the sturdy issue. I think this is more decorative than functional, but works ok.

Not leather
When the box arrived it was very small. However, this unit surprisingly fits alot of wood. Seems sturdy but the carrying bag is really cheap. Certainly not leather!! I do expect the carrying bag to last tge season.

Looks good, well built.
This is a good looking addition to our fireplace. Keeps the logs together & cleaner. Sling works great for carrying. No dirty sleeves!
