**UPDATE July 6 2019** Added a star. The head is a different color due to nickel plating. It is brass underneath. I ended up buying a different used motor to put it on. My Subaru Robin motor had a modified exhaust due to being on a square cart frame with a large auxiliary gas tank. The Subarau also has a tapered shaft, which can't be used with this pump anyways. NOT this pumps fault. I didn't see that until I took the old pump off. So I recommend that you check your engine shaft before ordering any pump. The pump is on the new engine, and running well. I have to check the pressure, so a gauge is on the way. Still a star shy of 5 because it looks like I'll have to contact the vendor or manufacturer for the missing parts. Apparently the vendor doesn't check reviews. Many do. **** I try to be fair in reviews, and will continue that here. I am talking with someone from the manufacturer in the comments section, and once I work that out, I'll change my review as is appropriate. I have 3 issues. One is that the pump did not come as pictured. The pump head on the one I received is silver. My old one is brass. Trying to determine what the change is. So far I have found out that it is nickle plated, according to the manufacturer. I don't yet know for sure what metal it is that is plated over. The pump looks like it was handled quite roughly at some point, as one of the fins on the crankcase has a chunk out of it, and the head looks like it was maybe dragged across something rough, like blacktop or something. Where that scrape is, I would have expected to see brass coloring underneath, but it's still silver. Maybe the plating was done after the scrape occured? Probably happened while the casting was being made, and therefore wouldn't be a problem. See the pictures. The pump is set up the wrong direction for my engine. A Subaru 11 hp. That's generally okay, but the instructions dont cover how to change it. I am handy, but I don't want to void a warranty, or screw anything up. Also, I didn't receive everything pictured, and there is no packing list covering what should be included.

"Package" is missing all the small but necessary parts shown in the product photo. Photo also shows brass pump head. Mine is "silver" colored. Other descriptions said the new pump head is nickel plated. After carefully scraping one corner, I could see no brass. ???? Otherwise, pump seems to function well and produces plenty of pressure. I am trying to locate the proper pressure relief valve. This pump is significantly heavier than my original

Great Pump but make sure you adjust the unloader valve

Could only get about 1200 psi. I finally found the page near the back of the manual that gave the instructions to adjust the unloader valve. Adjusted that an the pressure came up to 4000 psi. I know, I should have read the manual first (and I did regarding the pump I purchased) but the manual covers multiple pumps and the unloader valve adjustment was at the very end. I think they should tag the valve with a warning to follow the adjustment procedure in the manual for the unloader valve. It's easy, but the adjustment is hidden under the plastic cap and you need a deep well socket. Other than that, extremely happy with the pump.

2nd bad pump. No REFUND

2nd junk pump. Do not buy from them. Rebuilt CRAP. Wouldn't even give me refund when I PAID return shipping out of pocket.

This pump bolted right up to my Honda powered pressure washer as an exact replacement for what came off it I've already run it for over 16 hours and it is generating great pressure. You get what you pay for, and I'd buy it again.
