Good wrist heart rate monitor

I have had a lot of different smart watches and this is the one I prefer. What makes it a little better than other watches is the heart rate monitoring which can be used during exercise. The watch also stays charged for a long time and I like the app.

A decent running watch to track my heart rate

This watch is a definite improvement over the Polar watches I know from many many years ago. It will monitor heart rate with or without the chest strap but obviously is more accurate during a run if the chest strap is in place. The watch is fairly easy to set up and pair with a cell phone and with the chest strap. It is straightforward to begin to record a run with the watch showing pace, elapsed time, heart rate and mileage covered. I haven't had it very long yet and don't know all of the untapped potential but I am going to have fun learning how to use all of the functions over time. It worked great out of the box and so far has been reliable so I guess I would buy again and recommend it to a friend.

lots of fuctions, but the most basic ones difficult to figure out

Attractive product, with good menu of functions, but I found it hard to use. I bought this watch to do one thing: measure my heart rate, monitoring a serious heart problem. After several hours of trying every possible combination of buttons, then reading the Polar support site, online manual, watching video instructions, and being unable to get a live person on the chat or telephone, I finally did speak to a customer service rep, who quickly answered my question. Polar appears to assume that all users want to use every fancy doodad on the watch, and are willing to follow a complex branching structure of instructions to get to what they want. Not true..

Good watch, just not for me.

Overall i think this is a good watch. It has A LOT of information for your fitness. I returned this item shortly after buy it because (1) the watch face is not very customizable, and (2) the screen is quite small for such a big watch, and (3) annoying to go into "activities" menu to see my step count. Because the watch face is not customizable, it gets annoying to go into "activities" menu every time when I want to see my steps. Again, nothing wrong with the watch. It's more of a personality thing for me. Also, I didn't need all the information that it provides, thus I went for a cheaper option.

Non-intuitive UI with long obscure sequences

Possibly the worst interface design I've encountered on the (dozen or more) similar watches I've owned. Pacer engineers seem to have set themselves the task of finding the longest most obscure sequence of button pushes they could require for the most common of functions, such as setting the time.

Polar is a guarantee and this watch is perfect for beginners or intermediate runners who want to analize their runs during of after the excercise. very nice watch. I bought it for my mother in law and she liked very much and was pretty easy to lern how to operate it.

Not sure what to do.....

I had my old Polar M200 running walk for a few years before one of the hinges started cracking. I just purchased this Pacer about a week ago as an upgrade. With my activity level, I usually have a total energy expenditure of 2200-2500 / day according to my old M200. Based on weight and weight changes, I think that was pretty accurate. However, at the same activity level, the Pacer is giving me daily expenditures over 3000 / day. THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT!?!?!?! Is it just mine?

So many metrics are off

I am a big fan of polar sport watches, and bought the pacer a few months ago. I have had nothing but trouble with me. The swimming metrics are completely off…always. No matter what I do. The heart rate monitoring is also very inconsistent. Trying to perform any interval training is useless as the watch is not registering my increasing heart rate, despite increasing effort. Hence any training monitoring with this watch is useless. After trying it a few weeks three times, I have now given up and using my older Garmin again. At least I get accurate HR readings and swim metrics from it.

Not trusted.

Have owned Polar for years and never a problem up until now. Would always give them 5 stars. Not any more. The sleep is no longer accurate. The voice whilst working out, is weird. The heart rate is up and down. Compared side by side with my other watches and an 0'2 monitor, my Polar is unreliable. Do not recommend any more Very disappointed ???? Shame. Was always my favorite.

Nice and smart watch for all purposes.

This smart watch is amazing. You need to download the polar app to configure the watch so as to have access to your activities data. It is perfect for all purposes amd very accurate. Although i wish the screen is touch screen and colour but that's not affecting the functionality of it though but if you don't stay calm the operation can be complex at the beginning but that is why you have the manual which is very helpful.

Great design, comfortable to wear it.

This Polar Pacer GPS running watch with high speed processor works excellent with no any errors. Very lightweight (40g) only, has ergonomic design with super-grip buttons. Has hyperfast processor, always-on MIP color display, accurate GPS and long-life battery. What he has: pace, time, distance, stopwatch, lap timer and Interval timer. Polar precision prime optical heart rate tracking technology. Music controls, push notifications and compatible with 3rd party apps (Strava, Adidas Runastic, Nike Run Club and others). If you will get serious, having a suite of powerful training features at your disposal will help you run towards your goals like: FitSpark daily training guidance, FuelWise smart fuel reminder and energy sources, polar running program and training load pro. I have to admit that this watch is my favorite one now. I'm wearing every day and doesn't even take it off her hand. This is great value for money (169,50) at the moment. Good quality watch, that's why I can easily recommend it to anyone.

Saiba o que você precisa para um relógio GPS e não se arrependa

Comprei o relógio Polar no dia 05/11/2022 por R$1.524,56 (vendido e entregue pela Amazon). A entrega foi feita por intermédio da Diálogo Logística e chegou no dia 08/11/2022. A nota fiscal foi disponibilizada no dia seguinte. Na caixa vem o relógio, carregador usb, parte da pulseira extra e a garantia e o guia de introdução Pluguei o relógio no notebook e em 30 minutos concluí a configuração do relógio (parece uma eternidade - risos). O relógio veio com 73% de bateria. Deixei carregando (no usb do notebook) até completar 100% (o que demorou cerca de 30 minutos - espera-se, então, pelo carregamento via usb/notebook, que demore cerca de duas horas para carregar toda carga… pelo tempo de duração da bateria que a marca informa, não acho que isso seja algo ruim). Tempo de duração da bateria: o relógio está ligado desde às 15h do dia 08/11/2022. Até o momento utilizei cerca de 2/3 horas de atividade física (com gps e monitoração de batimentos) e mais análise de duas noites de sono, além das funções normais do relógio = está com 58% de bateria. Eu estava com dúvidas entre este relógio e o Garmin 55, mas optei pelo Polar por não ouvir bons comentários a respeito da assistência técnica da Garmin no Brasil (contatei alguns vendedores de Garmin, da Amazon, e estes informaram que forneciam um ano de garantia, mas não senti segurança para fazer isso. Pensei no Garmin 245, mas vi tantos relatos de problemas na tela que acabei desistindo dessa opção Por que não o Polar Pacer Pro? O Pacer Pro tem algumas funções que para mim, corredor amador, são inúteis, tais como: barômetro, medidor de potência, orientação komoot e hill splitter - informações do Tênis Certo. Se fizer sentido para você, acredito que vale a pena o investimento a mais Sobre o relógio: ele tem um tamanho perfeito para mim, não aquele exagero do Polar Vantage V, mas penso que a Polar poderia ter aproveitado melhor o espaço de tela útil, pois cerca de meio milímetro da tela não tem nada, é só parte da estrutura do relógio. Algumas pessoas vão achar pequeno, vejam as fotos dessa análise (meu punho tem 19 centímetros) É bem tranquilo de visualizar as informações mesmo sob um sol intenso (que é o mínimo que se espera de relógios GPS, mas a qualidade, nesse ponto, realmente surpreendeu) Ele é muito leve (40g) e a pulseira parece super frágil, sim, parece frágil, vamos ver se é ou não Ele tem um programa de treinos que se adapta conforme o teu rendimento (tipo um Garmin Coach), o que foi um dos pontos que fez optar por esse relógio (Os relógios Polar Unite e Ignite não são para quem quer correr de forma um pouco mais séria e planejada). No polar flow você configura seus treinos e verifica todas as informações (é possível reorganizar os treinos, alternando os exercícios conforme a disponibilidade maior/menor de um dia para outro) Gostei de ter controle de música no relógio, aí você não precisa acessar o celular ou ficar utilizando o próprio fone para isso (ele não armazena músicas, mas você pode parar ou mudar a música que está tocando no celular)
