Good solid fire ring
Solid fire ring for the price, 10 minutes to assemble. Sturdy and well made.

Very Nice Fire Pit Ring
This is really a very nice fire pit ring. Very sturdy and appears to be well made. However, when I received the product, there were no nuts and bolts included and the description had stated that there would be. I was lucky enough to have the correct size nuts and bolts on hand so that I could put the fire pit ring together without having to go out a purchase them.

Ignore the bad reviews
Ignore the bad reviews about rust. These will rust yes, so I'm giving a 4 star review simply because they couple have spent a couple more pennies to apply heat resistant grill paint, but other than that it's been great. I wanted this to make a smokeless fire pit. I was able to drill the necessary holes for the smokeless design, despite the thicker than expected steel for the price. I then sprayed with grill paint. Have been using for over a month now and it has not started to rust and works great.

Met all expectations
Great product and value

Solid.
You would burn down an entire forest before this thing failed. When it came in I did the typical “smokeless firepit” attempt. Whether or not I made it smokeless is not the point - this thing is great. Heavy, sturdy, and easy to work with being 4 pieces. I actually scuffed this up quite a bit and added 2 coats of a flat black 2000 degree spray paint. Came out mint. Note: check your fitment before using landscaping cement. I made a mistake and had to chisel my stones out. No fun.

Great quality at the best price
Great product made out of solid steel. The coating could be better but it was expected with the extremely low price. It comes in four pieces packaged good at best. Although the box was a bit beaten up, no major damage other than scratches on the top surface (pictures included). I’m a perfectionist with OCD but I knew at the price range to expect a few scratches in the finish so I’m not disappointed. I’m sure you can contact the company to replace but not worth the hassle with the cheaper coating. Assembly is nice and easy. I’d tighten up correctly, it will be perfectly round. It measures just a tad bigger than 28” in the inside diameter and roughly 28.5” if you include the inside diameter with the lip on the lower edge. It is exactly 33.5” on the largest diameter of the lip. The coating is alright and a few missing spots in the inner edge (picture included). Like I said, at the price, I’m not disappointed. Also, these coatings don’t last against fire. Eventually rust will come into play. The only reason I don’t really care is because it’s cheaper for me to powder coat this fire pit ring than buy the other more expensive rings that come with the same cheap coating. I paid $100/wheel for powder coating at a high quality paint, powder coat, and chrome shop. They told me they wouldn’t charge more than that for a fire pit ring. Any shop that tells you otherwise is a rip off. You will love this if you are building your own fire pit. I did it with wall blocks and knocked off the lip with a chisel.

2nd Time’s the Charm
The media could not be loaded. The first one I ordered came next day, sadly none of the holes and screws lined up, and was impossible to piece together. I returned it the next day for an exchange. The new one arrived today and was easily put together. It’s heavy and perfect for what I need it for. The price was better than anywhere else. Sadly both of them came with scratches. But I plan to spray paint it like some of the other reviews stated. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

Outstanding Quality
Searched all over the UK for something as simple, heavy duty and functional and couldn't see anything online or locally (apart from a local blacksmith offering to make me a fancier one for £500). I decided the P&P and import fees were worth the price and couldn't be happier. If I was in America paying around $100 all-in I'd be very happy with this. Just like the ones that have in all the State/National Parks minus the adjustable grill.

It'll work...
This review is based on a "used - good" condition purchase for $39.99. I did not base my star rating on condition as I expected scuffs and dings. I didn't care, for the savings off a pricey item I was happy to deal with some damage. To clear the air, this item has an inner circle diameter of approximately 28". The outer rim is approximately 33½". I say approximate because the hardware and holes are not an exact fit and leave soms room for circumference manipulation... Not much, but some. So, your fire pit brick inner circumference will need to be between 28-33" for this to fit. You really want it to aim for 28-29" as it could slip around or cause balance issues with the top bricks. The metal is thick and solid. The weld points are sufficient for the task, but I would have felt better with a full welded seam between the ring and the liner. This sacrifice is directly related to the item cost. The two obvious cons with this item are build quality and the fact that it's not a one piece unit. I would have loved to get a smokeless one piece unit with swivel grill and cover, but they go for $500+ and cost almost as much to ship to me. I'm sure those units are built like tanks too. This unit new is $150, so it's a "you get what you pay for" situation. So unless you're gonna go find and modify a semi/tractor wheel and spray it with high heat paint, this could be one of your best DIY options, even at full price. As a side note, the negative reviews not related to user error, seem to be related to finish condition. Mine was "thrashed" but like I said, expected. I assembled it, cleaned it, sanded it with 120 and 180 grit paper, de-greased it and gave it 3 coats of matte black high heat paint. It turned out great a and looks like I paid full price, or maybe more for it. I expect the coating to hold and even if it fades from the direct flames, should help keep it looking nice on the upper rim. I wonder if I should start a fire pit ring/liner side business, seems like a real money maker. You get what you pay for and unfortunately none are "cheap".

It is really good (with some additions)
This fire ring, is heavy, but manageable, use a wheelbarrow if you can. I made a few holes in the top leaving some space in the blocks in the bottom of my firepit for air to get in, it then gets warmed by the fire ring and it is expelled through those holes I made having a second combustion, which adds strength to the fire and eliminates most of the smoke. The results speak for themselves with the image, it is a good price too.

Very nice ring, easy to build, looks great!
The media could not be loaded. Looks great much deeper ting than the one they sell in the shadow blend concrete fire pit kit. I sprayed with high heat paint first before using, to remove risk of getting rust on it. So far very happy with it and it looks great.
