Don’t leave out in rain
It’s been 8 months since I bought it. We try to keep it out the rain and it has held up good. A little rust but works perfect for what we need!

Medium Size is great for the patio
(Medium Size) It assembles very easy. Not heavy at all. The chain link esque sides allow for great heat distribution. The hook on top is a bit flimsy but for this price I was far more concerned about the structural integrity on the pit itself. Been through about 10 burn nights no signs of failure. The top grate has bowed a slight bit but this is to be expected. If you are a middle class individual just looking for something cool to have on the patio during cold nights or a drunken get together this is ideal. The flames (8 logs T-P style) never reached higher than 3 feet.

Too soon for quality review
Pros - What I can say is that we were excited to obtain a fire pit and loved this one. The heat comes from the open sides and lighting from it is excellent in the dark. Easy to assemble and move around. Easy to clean up. Adequate tool provided for moving wood and removing lid. Neither good or bad - Wood burns quick since this is completely open to the air. Keep a lot of wood close to keep a good flame or you get little heat. Cons - No cover included. Large ambers go past screen (should have been expected though) so keep a hose handy. Too soon to judge durability.

Almost 100% Happy
This is actually a really great fire pit. We get one every few years, and this one has been the best one yet. It’s super sturdy, great quality and a great size for a modest fire. Perfect for our needs. You might be asking yourself why only 4 stars? Well literally the ONLY drawback is that the poker it comes with is awful. Every time you try to adjust the wood, it’s a gamble with fate whether you’ll retain any skin on your hands. Give me six more inches of a poker, and you’ll get 5 stars.

Any fire needs air circulation. This has that. It also keeps the larger. Sparks inside the screened pit.

Poor quality, injury removing from package
This product is a very poor quality. First, as I was removing the lid from the packaging I sliced my finger open on a piece of broken metal. Next, as I was attaching the base to the main body I could not get more than two bolt holes to line up. Next I noticed the welds at the corners were messy and left quite a gap. Finally, the cover didn’t sit level. I suspect the thin metal and poor welding resulted in a warped frame. I am returning the unit and will purchase a different brand.

The media could not be loaded. très bon , cependant , conseil : achetez la housse sur mesure en option .... les cendres mouillées conservent l'humidité ,deviennent acides et provoque de la rouille ... isolez les pieds du sol sur des briques pour les mêmes raisons ... petit défaut , pas d'accès au foyer si ce n'est en soulevant tout le couvercle ... pas pratique ! pour les patenteux ,soudez vous une porte et des charnières .... (voir photos) , la , ça commence à devenir intéressant . achetez de la brique réfractaire , 9 briques = 66$ chez BMR (tx incluses) et coupez les pour tapisser tout le fond , ça évite la déformation de la tôle ????....

There is rust at many places after having it outside for only 3 weeks
I bought this a couple of months ago - but started to use it a few weeks ago. We made a fire three times (it is quite good for that) and otherwise the pit was just sitting outside. After about a week rust started to show and by now I have widespread rust on the grilling grid, the bottom of the fire pit etc. This is very disappointing as the way the rust is developing it may have complete rust holes by the next season - making this quite expensive to use as I most probably have to replace it by next season. Very disappointing!

Do Not Buy
Used one time, went on fire as chemicals on product went on fire and burned off ,,, burned the nice paint finish off the fire pit and scorched the surface under it where we set it ... and it is already rusting after 1 fire and no rain on it. Just bought, used 1 time only.

Looks awesome - read other reviews about rusting so immediately sprayed with Tremclad BBQ black paint to prevent rust and it looks awesome. Lots heat as its deep holds lots of wood. Only downside is not great roasting marshmallows as sides are high for the sticks to get in -you mostly burn the top of your marshmallow, lol.
