Amazing Service from Price-Pfister

This faucet is replacing an Aquasource faucet that I got from Lowes. After months of use, the Aquasource faucet was leaking at the point where the spout connects to the bar with the on/off handles. I tried replacing the washer; it didn't work. I contacted Aquasource, and, instead of sending a washer, they sent me a whole new spout with washer attached! But in a few months, that one started leaking too. Rather than deal with them again, I figured I would try this Price Pfister faucet. When I opened the box of the Price Pfister faucet, the first thing I noticed was that the spout arrives attached to the faucet (unlike the Aquasource faucet, which came unassembled). Second, the spout is MUCH heavier than the Aquasource spout (which was very thin metal). I am hoping that, because of these two differences, this faucet will perform much better than the Aquasource one. Or, at the very least, if it starts leaking, it can be quickly fixed with a new standard size washer. One last thing....I paid less for this Price Pfister faucet than I did for the Aquasource faucet from Lowes. And, as I said, this one feels much more solidly made. UPDATE: We have has this faucet for 5 years now. It had started leaking once before and Pfister sent a free replacement cartridge. The new cartridge helped... but you still had to turn it off pretty tightly. Now it has become unbearable. So I assumed I needed another cartridge. But when I took the old cartridge out, I saw that the seat was damaged. Which is why it has always been difficult to turn off. Attached are photos..... you can see the notch in the seat. I assume this started as a small manufacturing defect, but has simply enlarged over time. And since the seat cannot be replaced, I guess there is nothing to do but buy a new faucet. Will contact Price-Pfister. Update: Contacted Price-Pfister and uploaded photos. They quickly responded and sent out a new faucet. Amazing customer service. I am very happy. I had looked at other faucets in case I needed to buy a different one. But I really did like this one. I am glad they sent me a replacement.

Seems like a solid quality unit! Make sure you account for how big (or small) your utility tub is though!

This is a nice and very sturdy unit. The only gripe I have is that between the faucet being wall mounted and then the actual spigot head sticks quite a ways off the wall. In most cases this won't be any problem at all because it will go over a normal size tub or utility sink. In my case I used one of the smallest tubs I could find for my garage and wish this was a little shorter. It's not a design flaw....it's my fault for not considering the dimensions between the two products and just something to consider for anyone out there trying to size things together. The spigot arm also rotates left to right until it hits the wall so it's really nice if you need it to get out of the way if you are trying to get something big in the sink or whatever! Great unit!

cheap price, cheap feel, but life time warranty

I bought two of these. If I had it to do over again, I probably would have paid more money for something that felt more substantial. If definitely has a cheap feel to it. On the good side, it has a life time warranty. If you get a leak and need a new cartridge, give the company a call and they'll send you a new one--for free. So, it's a good idea to save your proof of purchase.

Right Product to Replace Old Wall-Mount Model

This product arrived in good condition with appropriate packaging on time. This is your basic wall-mount faucet for a kitchen sink. If you are considering this product, you are probably replacing an old wall-mount faucet because newer models are not mounted on the back splash like this one. I bought a sink-mounted faucet first but returned it because my plumber said it would cost more to re-fit the plumbing for a different faucet. This one is almost identical to the much older version of this model that I replaced. The plumber had no trouble installing this one right where the old faucet had been.

I bought this faucet and installed it myself and found it was easy to do, and looks very nice, the only problem is the handles turn on and off backwards. I see some other reviewers have had this same problem. I called the Pfister company only to be told to take the cartridges out and reverse them. This is extra work and not quite as simple as it sounds. Pfister really needs to do a better job with their quality control. This is why I'm giving 3 star instead of 5.

Perfect replacement for old faucet - Buy it

Our home had an old wall mounted faucet which began leaking. The leak got worse, but trying to find the individual replacement parts to repair the leak became a huge hassle. None of the local home improvement centers carries the valve, stem, and parts we needed. They didn't carry the faucet either! Rerouting plumbing through cement block walls to install a new under-the-sink faucet was simply out of the question. It wouldn't be worth our time or money. Enter Amazon and this Pfister G127-1000 faucet. It fit perfectly. Buy it if you need to replace an old one. Please note that we did check dimensions before purchasing to ensure a matching width. It's now installed and working great. Easy DIY.

Disappointed, just functional.

Replaced an older, quality wallmount kitchen faucet as cartridges for it were no longer available. The Pfister faucet works but feels cheap and uses flat rubber washers that will have to be replaced within mnonths (busy kitchen). Had to remove theflow restriction device on the new faucet to get proper flow. Was not an issue with the older one. Disappointed.
