Puppies
Used for my great dane who had 8 puppies, that should definitely say how spacious this is.

Good Quality for the Money; Extensions Would Be Nice to Have
I bought this "playpen" for my 2 lb. puppy. Until she's fully house trained, I need to confine her to the kitchen (tile floor) so she doesn't ruin the carpet elsewhere. The opening from the kitchen to the living room is 7'8" wide. I couldn't use a straight piece of lattice or fence because there's no way to attach it to the wall (fireplace on one side, built-in cabinets on the other). I have to have a free-standingfence, so I bought this pen to set up as a rectangle (to make it free standing). Because the panels are 24" wide each, I couldn't make it fit my 7'8" opening, so I had to make an odd shape and now there's gap that prevents me from connecting the gate to the panel at the other end. (That's not because the pen is faulty; it's that my situation is unusual.) Iknew this before buying the pen and decided I could make it work. Since I cannot put the stabilizing "staples" thru the tile floor, I placed heavy objects along the outside to keep puppy from knocking the pen down. This looks messy. Again, not the fault of the pen. Anyway, it works as a barrier. If I have guests and want to keep puppy off carpet and from under foot, I can change the shape so the gate will connect and make a pen fully enclosed pen for her. I also use it as a pen when I'm working in my yard. I set it up next to the flower bed that I'm weeding (the front yard is not fenced) and put a tarp down (to block dampness) and put puppy's bed, toys, food and water inside. The "staples" that you use to secured the pen to the ground are sturdy and very long. Great! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pen does not come with stabilizing feet for use inside the house. I think I might find a way to make feet with L brackets. However, I'll have to remove the brackets whenever I want to fold up the pen for transporting. That might be as often as every day. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: 1. Include easy-to-install and remove stabilizing feet for indoor (or patio/deck) use. 2. Offer optional panels that are 24" tall by 6" and 12" wide. These will enable customers to customize the pen to the width needed.

Good Puppy Pen
First, my husband put up our pen because I am inept. So for him it was probably easy and for me well....This pen has been a lifesaver. We have four grown dogs and then our wild and playful puppy. She loves to wrestle the other dogs until exhaustion. Then she trots to her pen grabs a toy, gets on her pillow and has a nap. She is fed in her pen and she has a pee pad in her pen which she has come to actually use. Unless she's being fed I leave the door open and I don't have any crying to put up with. Be sure you get the tallest one you may need. Our puppy surprised us after three weeks by climbing over.

Couldn't be happier.
I use the panels to keep my boys confined while outside and it works great. While they are learning to "stay close to home" on our 30 acres, the fencing placed around the perimeter has done just what I needed it to. I have several units of both the 30" and 24" and they both keep my dogs in. My experience with little "Houdinis" like the puppy in the video, is that they will escape about any enclosure unless they have a reason to stay. If you have that problem, I would suggest making the pen square and putting a narrow barrier of bird netting horizontally along the outer perimeter. The bigger dogs cannot climb out as the structure would be too wobbly. And my small dog is not as athletic as the little terrier escape artist. AND I have two dogs in together. I also will mention that I have this fencing outside in coastal Oregon and though it has developed some rusty spots I have been very happy with its durability. It has been up for over a year now and still doing a great job. In fact, I am thinking that we are just about to the stage when we no longer have to rely on fencing to keep the dogs in and I think I will leave it up to keep the unwanted guests out. Like the porcupine that was at the back door one evening when I opened it to let my boys out! I just ordered some more to keep with our new travel trailer so we can take the boys camping with us and not have them tied. It folds up pretty flat, doesn't weigh a ton and is easy to set up and fold down. Who could ask for more?

Great Gate
Originally got this to use for our ferrets, but they slipped right thru the wires lol totally fine because we now use it for our puppy. We're keeping her downstairs and this is a perfect way to block off areas we don't want her going. Good size for a bull terrier puppy.

Puppy power!
I would advise you to check the latches before sending out. The top one is fine but the lower one is bent at an angel that will not keep the door closed. ????

Reliable and handy!
I bought two for my puppy so he'd have some room to run around or play when I needed to run errands or clean the house! I got two so I wouldn't have to move it upstairs and downstairs and they have both worked great. I have a smaller dog who won't get much bigger than 15/20 pounds, so for me it's been ideal but I honestly don't know how well it does with the bigger guys. That being said so far for my needs it's done great. He hasn't knocked it over or climbed up it and if there are any accidents it's easy to move just a section so I can clean the area without any hassle. It looks basically like the picture, it's black and metal and not especially lovely, but come on it's a dog playpen. I doubt Lassie will mind and were you really going for high fashion when you bought that puppy? Another aspect I love about it is that you can change it's shape to fit basically any area and fold certain sections up without have to remove ANY parts. Also, it was basically the easiest thing in the world to put together. I figured I'd have to connect each segment but all you need to do is hook the two ends together. So if you need a good area to keep your pet safe I highly recommend getting this! I love it, he loves it and so does my hedgehog when I use it as a playpen for her. So go for it!
