Needs some modifications to be perfect
This was super easy to assemble and very sturdy. I think the ramp model is better for cats whereas dogs usually prefer steps to rest on. However, the plastic mat material is easily shredded/chewed on and can cause kitty's claws to get stuck. I plan on getting a cheap runner rug/carpet (something like this but a more neutral style as my cat does not like flashy designs: https://www.amazon.com/Dollar-Runner-Living-Bedroom-Outdoor/dp/B08TRHYWL2/), attaching velcro strips on the back and rolling the ends around the back bottom support bar and further securing them with binder clips and/or more velcro for stability. The ramp inside is hollow which is great for storing bags of cat litter or other supplies. Decent ramp for senior pets but I do wish the mat material was made of something else. Thankfully it's removable so this is modifiable as needed.

VERY STURDY! White basket not included.
I would describe the durability of this plastic ramp to what you would expect from very large, plastic, children's toys: Outdoor Play House, Kitchen, Tool Center, Ride-On, etc. Think Step # or Little T*k**. There isn't a back side or an underside enclosure on this sturdy ramp. If there were at least a bottom board, it would create an easily moveable, storage space (just pick up and move). I have to move my ramp a couple times a week to keep my wobbly grand-baby from trying to figure out how to crawl up. I have tile flooring. HOWEVER, if your ramp will stay in one place all of the time, that won't be an issue and you could easily store items under the ramp. NEVER STORE dangerous items (medication, poisonous products, choking hazards, strangulation hazards, sharp objects, etc., items that have the potential of making a mess, or items you don't want ruined) as these items could be accessed by children or pets. Per the sticker on the white basket in the pic it measures 13.75 L x 11.38 W x 8.75 H. The white basket is pushed all the way in until its height stops it. Compensating for the basket's taper, in case a no-taper basket is used, I turned the basket upside down to calculate the extra room still available under the ramp for a larger basket (only if the basket's height isn't greater than 8.75".) There are 4" between the white basket and the internal side of the ramp's back, bottom bar. Turning the up-side-down basket 90 degrees, it takes up all of the ramp side to side. There would be no room for a lid. There are 6.75" between the white basket and the internal side of the ramp's back, bottom bar. Just to be sure of fit, these two measurements are slightly under what is actual. At the front of the ramp, there will be a small amount of underneath storage space available. That amount depends on the size used as the main basket. For being on a tile floor, my ramp STAYS IN PLACE pretty well. When there is too much movement, I use a damp cloth to wipe the floor under the ramp and the included anti-slip tabs on the bottom of the ramp to remove dust and debris. Unless you require a super light weight product, don't waste your money buying the washable, zip-off cover with furry / fuzzy steps. Those are likely constructed of cardboard. While cardboard can be sturdier than you might imagine, these types of steps could be ruined if they come into contact with liquid or absorb unpleasant odors.

BEST OPTION hands down!!! Love it!! ????????????
The media could not be loaded. They say 3 is a charm - well this is the 3rd option we tried & hands down the best! Worth every cent. My 9lb Morkie took to it right away. We tried & returned plush steps that wobbled at the top & hard plastic steps that were too slick. These work well for sofa & our tall bed. Very pleased with the lightweight design, too!

It works
Needed something for aging pet who was having difficulty jumping up to her favorite loveseat at night. It took a little training, but now she readily uses it. It has a weird porous plastic ramp that feels like plastic straw. I suppose it gives her traction. Just afraid her nails could get caught in it. A nice rug would have been better. But overall good price and easy to assemble. Sturdy, too. I'd buy again.

My dog hasn’t accepted it
Probably should start this with a puppy

You get exactly what you're being sold
This looks exactly like it does in the photo, no surprises. If you've ever worked in food service and are familiar with Cambro hot boxes and Camtainer beverage servers, this is that type of plastic --- hard, sturdy and hollow, but that does not effect the durable quality of the ramp. Simple to put together (no screws or tools, everything just snaps into place), sturdy once assembled and stays put. Also, the ramp is a very "doable" incline for my 20 year old cat, I've seen some that were just too steep. Not the most attractive thing, I'll probably purchase another model for my living room, but this one is in the bedroom on a side of the bed that isn't really seen, so it's fine.

Important To-Knows If You Have Cats!
The ramp is designed well enough for my senior cats to use it for what it's intended for, but my cats also had different motives. They used it as a scratching post every time they ascended or descended from the ramp until I finally had to take supertraX mat pieces off entirely. I find that the item could actually be dangerous for cats. The pieces of the mat could easily be swallowed and cause an obstruction if a cat starts to tear into them. It's not made like carpet fibers at all, it's a stretchy kind of thick hair-like wiry plastic that shreds in various volumes of thickness. I feel much better now that I'm using a towel over the ramp but I plan to make my own carpet replacements so my cats can still feel comfortable using it as a scratching post.

Should be a little longer
The inclined part doesn't go all the way to the floor and it's a little too tall for my dachshund to easily step up onto the ramp. I had to put another short ramp in front for him to be able to use it. It does keep him from jumping off the furniture, though, so we'll make do.

Strong ramp, easy to put together, excellent for Dachshunds.
Great ramp for my pack of 5 Dachshunds. Easy to assemble and dogs took to it straight away. Supertrax attached matting seems to provide great grip though early days to see if it wears well. Would like to find out if a UK supplier is able to get replacement matting if needs be.

Really good value ramp. I'm really happy and my 2x daxis use it all the time.
Brilliant ramp and so sturdy.

Just the right size..
I have been looking for a ramp that was shorter so that I could place it beside my bed. My golden retriever is getting on in age and having some arthritic issues. Some nights he gets up on the bed with no issues but other nights he needs help. He was giving up and laying on the hard floor beside the bed. I ordered this ramp because of the fact that it is shorter than most of the ramps. I actually have a ramp for the vehicle but it is much too long. This ramp also has a grip at the base making it slip proof. Now I am working on getting my boy to actually go up on it. A few treats and he will be good to go.

No carpet, but still a great ramp!
The item is described as having carpet but it came with a plastic mesh...a tad slippery under his furry little feet. Disappointing it is not as described, but our little guy is using it to get down on his own without coaxing...as opposed to going up, which he is now getting used to but still needs a little help at times. I believe if the mesh was carpeting, he would have a better time of it. The mesh pads are held on with velcro and can be easily removed for cleaning or as I plan to do...replace them with carpet pieces also backed with velcro, for better footing. All in all I would still recommend this ramp. It's very light, very sturdy, crazy easy to snap together and he's using it!

Funcional
