Great assortment of pins, lousy box
A large assortment with every size you could need for most automotive/equipment uses. Quality is fine so far. My only complaint is that the box is flimsy and over-filled. I hate to complain that a product gives me too much of what I want, but with the box being just large enough to hold all the cotter-pins, any amount of shifting means the box lid will not shut. Further, the box lid is not strong enough to prevent the pins from mixing if held in any position other than flat. I didn't take away any stars for this because I was shopping for the pins, not the box; but, the purchaser should be aware. Update (11/24/2013): I had a chance to look at two of these pins I installed not too long ago and they still look the same as when I put them in. No rust or discoloration. It hasn't been very long, but seeing as these are right behind my tires, they have seen a fair amount of water and road grime. Will update again during or after the winter/road salt season.

Great Quality but check sizes.
Very good quality and fast delivery. Worthy of a 5 Star rating. However, the description does not include the sizes. I went from the picture and now have a 150 piece set of Hair Pins that are all too large for my applications. Here are the dimensions of the sizes: 3/32 x 1-3/16 in.; 5/64 x 1-5/16; 5/64 x 1-9/16; 7/64 x 1-5/8; 9/64 x 1-3/4; 5/32 x 2-15/16.

Undesirable variations noted in some pin diameters.
Prompt shipping of product, however the overall quality could be improved; 1- the index label inside the box cover has no correlation to how the sizes are arranged into which compartment of the assortment box. 2- the physical diameter dimensions of some of the pins are undersized. A 1/4" roll pin measured 250" diameter "un-sprung", using vernier calipers, which would be a loose fit in a .250" diameter hole. 3- some of the pins seem to be oversized. The 3/8" roll pins measured .401" diameter "un-sprung", which could be too tight to drive into a .375" diameter hole"

Lots of decent regular ole cotter pins, cheap. Why not?
As a rule, you always use a new cotter pin. Why not buy 1000 of them cheap. It could save your life. The box is a piece of crap but who cares. A good cotter pin just has to be there when you need it. Some idiot in the questions said these are stainless. I assure you that they are not stainless or else they would have been advertised as such and sell at a higher price.

Great selection, good for plows and tractors
Work fine... I keep an assortment around for plows and tractors... nice to just locate a set of cotter pins instead of driving to the store or bending a nail around...

Practical and handy
A number of different sizes that will meet the needs of most handymen. Always nice to have a variety of pi9ns on hand to save the time and trouble to run to the store to find one if you don't have one on hand!!

Great quality, worth every penny!
These Hairpins are great! We used this to replace some rusted ones on our John Deere tractor mower attachment. The pins are thick and feel like they are made of good materials. I'm not worried that they will bend or break anytime soon. 10/10 Would highly recommend.
