I'll never buy a regular bobby pin again

I have very thick hair have always struggled with up-do's because my hair is too heavy to stay up, even when I use a ridiculous amount of standard bobby pins. I can do a full French twist with 5 of these and my hair stays up for the whole work day or evening out! The value is amazing with 400 pins for less than $10. Such a simple way to improve my life.

smooth and easy but be careful of one thing

these are great! they stay in pretty well for smooth pins (the ones with rougher texture will stay in better but these slide right in easier). the sheen wears off fast but they're in your hair, so who cares? the thing to be really careful about is the little protective balls on the end of the pins fall off after a few uses leaving very sharp ends!! i don't think they can be fixed so that makes them disposable sadly. so buying a pound of them is a good idea lol and always check that the protective ends are still there before you accidentally poke yourself.

Bad quality for 19 pounds !!

As you can see in the camera the end has come off after the first wear and the coating is gone as well! And I cannot return them

Great for pinning up very long & thick hair. 3” pins TOO big for thinner/shorter hair.

These are some heavy-duty hair pins. They don’t work at all for my hair (which is curly, chest-length, thinnish & damaged hair) but that’s my own fault, as I didn’t realize these badbois are 3” long. These are for thick, luscious manes that need to be pinned up for work or dance or something. Ended up giving them to a friend who loves them & was shook that I found such large pins, so still giving it 5 stars on her behalf! She has thicc, waist-length hair she puts into a braid & then winds it into a bun for her service job & she says these were a godsend.

Poor Quality

The media could not be loaded. The ends of the pins are just rubber "balls" that come off easily. I pinned them into my kid's hair bun and when I pulled them out, the rubber ends just slipped off. The ends became too sharp without the rubber ends and cannot be used effectively. So these pins are useless now.

These are what you need for buns in long, thick hair

These are the hairpins you want if you have long, thick hair that needs to be out of your way. Mine is super thick and falls down to my hips. Four of these hold my hair comfortably and neatly all day. I work outdoors and even hoods and 60kph winds don't budge them. These are NOT bobbypins. They will not do bobbypin things, like hold a wisp of hair in a specific spot.

3-Inch Hair Pins are perfect

These 3-Inch Hair Pins are excellent because they and perfectly support my hair at any styling. It's a pity you can't buy them here in North America. Long hair without styling at ANY age??? It's funny, but it's the so-called "fashion."
