Nice, functional art pen
This pen was well liked by our daughter. She said it was easy and comfortable to hold, that doing her line art was fun. This allowed her to do some outlines that stood out, but not so much as to ruin what she was drawing and trying to emphasize. The color is gray, and there was some flexibility with how dark/light, based on how hard she pressed and the thickness of the lines. Overall, this is a nice pen to have for any artist looking for some variety and ability to switch things up.

Good pen
Nice brush pen, starts out with a fine point and can be used in a vaguely brush-like manner. Definitely gray, not black

Their “black” is actually gray
Their “black“ is actually gray. The only way to get black is to go over what you wrote a second time. Not very practical for handwriting if you need true black.

Great brush pen
I use my Pentel brush pen for art work. The gray is light enough to serve as a base layer but also legible enough to stand out on its own when needed. Pentel's pigments are always the best so ends up providing a lot of depth into the actual artwork. They last for a while and dont drive too fast. So recommend it!

A brush pen with more control
This brush pen is easy to hold and control your strokes because of the shorter brush nib. I think it is perfect for beginners and professionals alike, it has a smooth stroke. It doesn't smudge I don't know if it is water resistant but I would definitely recommend this pen. The one down side to this particular color of pen is not as pigmented a I would like.

A little firm for a brush pen
Overall really liked this pen for its ink color - the gray is vivid enough to show through watercolors which is exactly what I was looking for. The nib seems a little firm, it needed more pressure than I expected to get a change in the line weight - but I tend to be cautious and avoid pressing too hard on my writing tools. I’m sure it will loosen up as it gets used more which is normal. Very happy with this!
