Mother is Happy
My mom's caregiver asked for a new raised toilet seat as the old one (provided by Medicare) was starting to rust out. This came in one piece so no installation was necessary. Caregiver gave it a thumb's up.

Very sturdy!
While no one likes to need these type of products a recent leg injury had me seeking alternatives to my very low toilet seat. Assembly was quick and easy and I’m very happy to say that this product is extremely sturdy and easy to clean. never thought I’d say it, but I love my potty chair…..and my knee loves it as well!

Sturdy, steady portable raised toilet seat in frame
After hip replacement twelve days ago, I am so happy that I chose the PCP raised seat with safety frame. Right out of the box, I clicked the leg extensions on and put it in my small utility bathroom. It fits perfectly. I have taped a rolled towel on the lip of the original seat so that I can (sort of) comfortably lean back a bit to avoid the 90 degree limit for my new joint advised by my orthopedic surgeon. After reading 100’s of reviews on other brands and types, I decided that the PCP might be best for me. I have set it up over my standard oval bowl and have also tried it with a comfort height long bowl. Both work equally well. It is easily adjusted to any height. At 5’7”, Setting the back legs on notch 3 and front legs on notch 2 is good for me. The highest notch (5) would be suitable for a very tall person. I measured my bowl opening at 10 1/2” x 13”. The PCP is 8 3/4” x 9 3/4”. The splash shield extends 6 1/2” down into the bowl and completely encircles the bowl . EXCELLENT! NO SPLASH or leaking anywhere. (I checked with a black light) This unit is very stable and safe. I love that one reviewer said she also used it as a light, portable shower seat. Great! I thought of her when I needed to make a lengthy phone call. I grabbed the PCP from the bathroom and gratefully sat down at proper height to use the kitchen wall phone. In comparing with with the attached models that require removing the toilet seat and lid and and then (ugh) bolting directly to the base, or the ones that attach to the front lip of the bowl.....not for me. What guest is going to want to walk into a bathroom with a semipermanent raised seat on the toilet? As to the attached raised toilet seats, there are endless complaints about scary instability, movement of seat on the bowl, leaking out the front, unsatisfactory for grown men to use, etc..... Shortcomings as I see it of PCP: (1) one leg seemed shorter on mine. I am no engineer so I used a little piece of 1x2” and slipped under that foot to level the unit. Since then, I just adjusted the length of that one leg to a different notch. Works fine! Yes, the PCP is more expensive than some, but I would NEVER return this multipurpose seat. It is so portable and easy to take right out if the bathroom and put in a closet if you have company...or take in the car when you go visit family. Trust me!!! The newer “comfort height” toilets are not tall enough to substitute for this raised seat with frame. (2) 17” span between the frame handles might be a bit narrow for a larger person. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone would design a safe, adjustable frame for larger body type?...or better yet! have the PCP available in 2 sizes. I think that is a great idea... (3) many reviews complained about raised toilets being very restrictive because of the smaller size of bowl opening. All are smaller but I did get used to it. It is certainly a common issue that could be addressed by all manufacturers. Oh yes, the “wiping” issue. No way to really wipe sitting on a raised seat...it seems foreign but just stand up and wipe. Flush toilet tissue in the toilet and then follow up with “Costco Baby Wipes” (NO flushing) and put in a little wastebasket to dump later. I even use a Costco wipe to swipe over the seat and splash guard to keep everything tidy.

Really a problem solver
I'm 6'5", 200 pounds, recovering from gallbladder removal surgery. One of the unfortunate after effects of the surgery is chronic diarrhea, so I found myself on the toilet many times a day. Problem was, my muscles were weak, and getting up from my small toilet was nearly impossible. I needed something higher, with arms so i could push myself up when I was finished. This thing did the trick. It's already assembled, and the legs are height adjustable. My bathroom is small, and it fit over my toilet with no problems. One thing to be aware of: The splash guard that extends from the seat down into the bowl will sometimes get messy and needs to be wiped down. Getting up from the toilet is a breeze. The arms are very stable. Just grab and push yourself up. Even after I recover from this surgery, I'm keeping this for everyday use.

Too smLl
I’m a 6ft 250lbs male, who recently had hip replacement surgery. I thought this was great until I tried to use it. Too narrow of a seat, too narrow handle bars, the seat had no cushion. I had to stand and wipe because it had no other option. Better ones are available. Do your research before buying one of these.

Terrific, stable means of easily raising toilet seat height
Obtained this for a family member who had hip surgery and needed the toilet seat raised to a greater height. Have used those thick toilet seats with handles for other family members and was not satisfied with the difficulty of using and cleaning them, as well as the lack of adjust-ability and the hassles of installation. This worked perfectly and was SO EASY to install/use/clean. It is essentially a walker frame with an open toilet seat mounted inside that has long sides so you can funnel output right into the toilet bowl below. The dimensions provided on the website diagrams proved accurate, and the legs even fit over the Tushy bidet controls mounted on the side of the toilet. The seat is comfortable. The person who used this is around 130 lbs and woman's size 12. While it was also successfully tested by a size 16 woman, a wider person might want the bigger size. The legs are as adjustable as a walker, so you can make them accommodate your needs. We tilted it slightly forward (front legs shorter) at the start and then adjusted it as the user regained strength and mobility. It was extremely stable. The "funnel" sides can be easily rinsed after use when necessary, or the funnel can be cleaned. I used toilet bowl cleaner on a damp paper towel and GENTLY went round the insides. The funnel plastic is fairly thin, so it needs to be treated gently when cleaning. Happily, there are no cracks or crevices with this device (like other raised toilet seat devices) so urine does not dry and create odors that permeate the surrounding area. It is also adequate for post-surgery nausea; one can quickly position the crutches next to it and throw up with great accuracy (thankfully!) and easy cleanup. This was used for a standard rounded toilet but I see no reason why it wouldn't work for the elongated seat model, provided one measured carefully and followed the sizing requirements information on the website. So glad we bought this; totally worth the price.

Siège de toilette surélevé
Pratique, mais gros à placer au dessus de la toilette. On doit enlever complètement le siège de la toilette.
