IT REALLY FITS!!!!!

I'VE BOUGHT AND RETURNED SEVERAL SO CALLED ELONGATED SEATS. THIS WAS ACTUALLY THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. EASY TO INSTALL,EXTRA LONG HEAVY BOLTS . FITS INSIDE THE TOILET BOWL.IT'S EVERYTHING IT CLAIMS TO BE.

Great item gif a great price

I used this seat after having gallbladder surgery and it helped a lot! I was able to dig without being too low to the floor which helped prevent ripped stitches in my belly

Works Well With Some Help

The riser is made well, but there's a small issue with a recycling symbol being embossed on the underside where it bolts down. This prevents it from lying perfectly flat on the porcelain bowl, and would allow the riser to slide around. I remedied this by applying three pieces of "Alien Tape" to the areas around the bolt holes. Once the seat was bolted down onto the riser, it didn't slide at all. Don't apply tape to the front of the riser, or you won't be able to raise the hinged portion.

Great seat when needed

I needed a toilet seat riser, post spinal surgery, and it took a few tries to find the right height, sturdy yet manageable installation, and one that provided stability. This riser was a perfect height, the seat raises so that it can be cleaned, and it’s stable. It certainly did the trick and I would highly recommend it to anybody who needs a seat riser. The one caveat is if you need side handles this is not the riser. I needed a slim fitting riser in the area where the toilet was so it was perfect for my needs.

The ideal seat for my bathroom.

We bought this toilet seat for my bathroom - the biggest thing we wanted was something that was more permanent and could be lifted for my husband to use the bathroom. I'm a 30 year old who is disabled, and unfortunately my toilet is a bit low - on some days it can be difficult and painful for me to sit down because of issues with my hips/pelvis. This seat has helped a lot! It's easy to clean and feels pretty sturdy even being 230lbs. My husband said it was super easy to install. My only gripe, and I've seen it in another review - somehow, someway urine can collect right under on the brim. So I have to wipe that pretty often or keep a piece of folded paper towel there. Yuck. But I deal with it because the benefits greatly outweigh that flaw.

Good quality seat riser but needs a few modifications to be perfect

There are many things I like about this lift and many I don't. The things I like: -Good quality hardware is included. -Simple design made out of thick plastic. -This by far is the most stable of the toilet seat risers I've installed and doesn't feel cheap. -The hinged lid makes it easy to move out of the way when standing or cleaning. The things I don't like: -The hardware that comes with it should include rubber washers to provide better grip to the toilet bowl. If you don't add these the seat will shift and loosen with any lateral movement requiring adjustment and tightening. -There is a small lip along the front edge to help prevent liquid from coming through the front but it is not long enough and should extend down further. Men sitting down WILL get urine through the front if they do not direct the flow straight down. A longer lip would act like a shield and keep things in the bowl. I may try adding something to do this on my own. -As you can see in other reviewers pictures the riser is smaller than the average toilet seat . If the outer edge was bigger it would look better when installed.

El producto cumple. Pero tiene el inconveniente que se desliza aun que lo aprietes con fuerza. Materiales buenos se adapta al wc bien (fijarse en la medida del wc) y la tapa también queda en el toilet. Buena altura

This is well made, easy to clean and definitely adds height to help with a bad hip, when using the bathroom. Was very easy to install, and, I liked that my existing toilet seat and lid go on top of the riser.
