Sturdy and useful.

Fits nicely in the shower and has been used by my husband for weeks now. Husband is just over two hundred pounds.

A Second Review

I am submitting a second, more positive review, without photos. I am embarrassed to say that the problem I experienced while trying to assemble the shower stool was due to confusing directions that were enclosed, which were obviously meant for a different stool. After following the directions as best I could, the side arms clearly didn't fit. Medline's customer support people are terrific. After several calls, they diagnosed the problem, so I could correctly assemble the stool. I would have given it a five-star review had the enclosed directions not been so confusing. It's a terrific stool once it's assembled properly!

This has been a great purchase!

I purchased this bath seat for an upcoming foot surgery I was going to have. I was non weight bearing for 6 weeks. It has been a life saver for me to shower. I found the seat to be a nice size, not to big or to small. It felt sturdy. The legs allow you to make it taller or shorter. Not only did I use it to shower, but I also used it outside the shower to get dressed and I also used it to help keep my leg elevated at times when needed. These seat worked out well for me.

Requires minor assembly and not as sturdy

I bought two shower stools of different brands for my Mom. While both did the job the other brand was clearly the winner. It came assembled and all I had to do was slide the handles into place. This required simple assembly and no tools were needed. It was also not as sturdy and stable as the other one. The handles were not made to the same tolerances and rattled a bit. However, it is a perfectly suitable shower stool and pales only in comparison.

Sturdy and safe

this is exactly what I needed and works perfectly. I feel perfectly safe using this seat and it looks nice enough that I won't mind using it as a bench seat outside the shower when I get to the place I don't need it in the shower.

A bit flimsy

I ordered this for my small bedroom shower. I injured my foot and ould not weight bear for several months. Although, it got the job done for when I needed to sit and shower, it was pretty flimsy and not very sturdy. kind of rickety. But I used it and thankfully, it held up. (For reference) I'm a woman, 5'9 and about 180 pounds.

Best shower bench.

I had tried 2 benches before and wanted to try this one. Love it. It is sturdy with sturdy arms. For an elderly person who has bad back and hips it is a great product. So easy to assemble. Thank you to the maker of this bench and thank you to the seller for the fast service.
