Not too bad!
Overall I am pleased with the unit. It's adequately sturdy and stores together with the attached clip. I like the length so that I don't have to bend over to that perfectly uncomfortable angle. My only complaint is the angle of the scooper part. I think it should be angled with the front edge being a little higher than the rear so that you could change the direction you are raking. I find that I'm raking the "stuff" towards me rather than to my side or away from me. I don't think bending it myself would work due to its design.

A good poop scoop
Well constructed, solid wood handles are sturdy. The pan needs to be bigger for large dogs, but it works for 1 pile at a time

Third season and still working
Having a German Shepherd means dealing with lots of ???? After many walks attempting to pick up or catch with the bag in the process (looks as weird as it sounds but is easier than spending time attempting to groom crap from grass inevitably leaving behind what is impossible to pick up with a bag) Purchased this rake and scoop. Upon lots of research from practicality and price found this equipment. In the meantime, a fence was installed around the perimeter and a 7x8 space with a roof, Quikrit sand, and this scoop means my big ol’ puppy dog can enjoy a pleasant experience while hanging outside anytime he wishes or we use this space before long walks. The only issue I've found is before installing the roof on his outhouse the wood sticks took on water. Dried and warped slightly causing a bend in the wood. This said, if you keep the equipment covered should expect this not to happen. Also, light sanding and new exterior paint or waterproofing stain will help maintain longevity. For poop, the storage uses a five-gallon bucket with a big plastic bag and lid. Scoop the doodie and store it in the covered bucket until trash day. Swap out the bag. Why do I use Quikrit construction quality sand? After trial and error, along with regular raking with a garden rake, this sand doesn't hold a smell. Filters pee well. And, with garden fabric under the sand make for not mixing soil and sand. Works perfectly for giving my boy a clean outhouse. My problem with grass is the shade of the trees not allowing grass. Dead grass from too much urine. The goal was to provide a durable outhouse for the dog free of rain, snow, hassles. He knows this is where he potties when he's enjoying his oasis yard. Hint for those not able to grow grass due to shade. Amazon sells awesome rolls of fake grass. Lined the area by the fence for my guy. The interior area is pavers around the perimeter. Helpful nail care hint: if you want help with dog nail care maintenance use concrete or pavers. He's so big a large baby pool equipped with an outdoor seat cushion and blanket make for a comfy bed when he's not sprawled on his fake grass on the cool ground in the summer. Adding the extra doggy ideas for anyone who enjoys ease of dog care while treating your friend like a king or queen during their life. Any other benefit of the scoop for this dog oasis makes for dog sitting ease, too. My best guy buddies who love the dog have an easy time scooping poop when they help if I'm away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️????

I have a 70 lbs. Boxer who is rather prolific when it comes to recycling his dog food. I bought this scooper set since it seemed sturdy and not the typical cheap plastic junk. I've used it several times in combination with a plastic grocery bag and it actually makes the job very easy. Place the scoop next to the offending object, flick it into the scoop with the rake, dump the scoop into a plastic bag when full, continue until the yard is clean. No more bending over or trying to scoop it up with a shovel. It makes the job very easy, and I no longer hate clearing "land mines".

Better than other options we tried!
I liked the solid handles instead of plastic assemble parts of others; it feels and works much better. The collection box works well and is good sized (owners with extraordinary large dogs may want something bigger). The handles, being wood, were disappointingly rough finished. I like wood handles on gardening tools, etc. However, using many garden tools and doing some woodwork myself, I found the finish to be crude. The rake is fine (o.k.) for small waste amount like my smaller dogs, but might be a bit flimsy for larger dogs. As others have stated, the super glued on label on the scoop was annoying to remove; I used a construction adhesive remover. I can't get too critical...after all, the main purpose is a poopy function! LOL! Oh...they need to coat this with something better; it's not bad, but poo still sticks to the collection box.

Lifesaver for spring cleaning
We procrastinated picking up the dog's business and with the arrival of spring, we knew we needed something a bit sturdier than a plastic bag. This really does the trick, nothing fancy or high tech, should last a while if not left out in the elements. The only slight downside is if you need to pick up from a flat surface like a deck or concrete as the rake doesn't scoop all of it. A spade might be better in that case. Ideal for scooping in colder temps. Doesn't work great on snow though.

Not really made for HARSH WET climates
I bought this earlier this year and it did well in the winter when it was covered/stored out of the elements and sun. Come the spring/summer noticeable damage to the wood handle such as splitting happened then came the black discoloring. It still works but for how long? I don't know. I use this for a 15lb small dog and it is very useful especially for raking in lightly packed snow and short grass.

A++ Great product, Great Quality
Love this pan and rake.. I have 3 very large dogs, 2 labs and a mastiff. There is so much poop... every few days/week it is a bit of a chore with my grain shovel and garden rake. this is perfect size, doesn't hurt my back or shoulders. very nice quality. Easily grabs poop between grass blades. I highly recommend this product. Local pet store wanted close to $50 for pan and $50 for rake.. I could almost buy 3 of these for that price. Definite must for dog owners!
