taste great. This pan

I have a gas stove, and maybe that is the problem. I bought this specifically for crepes. I would give it zero stars, but I do prefer crepes cooked on cast iron vs non stick, and the flavor of the crepes cooked on this pan, if you can get them off, taste great. This pan, however, sticks. It is an enameled cast iron, so it shouldn't, and I should have listened to other reviews. I thought that I needed to season it, but alas, that did nothing to solve the problem. I have tried oiling the pan, using butter, and whatever else I can think of, without success. I wish I could return this.

Excellent

I do not leave reviews. That said, customer service alone deserves the 5 stars here. In a rare fluke, my product came without the wood tools. The seller was respectful & understanding during our dialogue, then reached out by phone with a great solution. With a little playing with heat’s temperature, I’m sure the pan will work out great. Cast iron & carbon steel cookware are some of the best to cook with.

I waited too long to return it so now I'm stuck with a really expensive pan that does me no good.

The burner on my cooktop is smaller than this pan so it doesn't heat evenly. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return it so now I'm stuck with a really expensive pan that does me no good.

It’s NOT a Matfer Bourgeat pan

The brand is a different and much lesser known French kitchenware maker called Chasseur. Quality seems great, but still, you don’t want to receive a bottle of Crémant when you payed for a real Champagne.

Just what I was hoping it would be!

Finally! A grill pan that doesn't warp on my glass top range! Nothing sticks, the heat is evenly distributed and it makes the best pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches! Yes, it's heavy and yes it is an investment but after having gone through 4 different brands of griddles at anywhere from $20-$40 apiece if so happy to have found this one!

Very pleased - great size and weight

1st time crepe maker with this great pan --- success! Love the very low sides that making flipping much easier. Not too big and not too small - great home cooking size.
