Worth Keeping

I received my OXO dispenser today, and was excited to open it. I found the contents in perfect shape for set-up. I used "Honest Clean Wipes" that are 7.1" x 8" because I like larger wipes for me and guests. I do not need this for an infant or small child, but could not resist the convenience of not fighting to get one cloth out of the sustainable packaging of most wipes! This is where the OXO dispenser needs some more engineering. I found that I must hold the weight so that it does not move when grabbing a wipe. When doing that, another wipe pops up for the next user! Yes! That is a dispenser. So, I am OK with holding it down, but that is the reason I did not give it five stars. All in all, I like this product and the idea of having a dispenser that truly dispenses all size wipes. I will likely order another for my office.

This OXO Tot Perfect Pull Wipes Dispenser is great!

Like others, I needed a container for adult cleansing wipes, not baby wipes. For many yrs I used cottenelle wipes which had its own small container. I've since switched over to water based wipes which are much larger (xl 7.9x11.8 in). I can attest these fit perfectly in this dispenser. It is sturdy, quiet & the top really does open by lightly pushing down on it with one hand. I find the weighted piece sits nicely on top of the wipes. You can pull one wipe out at a time one handed as long as you're gentle about it. I would buy this again!

It operates as described.

I love it when a product operates exactly as described in his listing. This baby white pull out box does just that. The lid closes with one touch and opens with one touch. The weighted plate keeps the rest of the wipes down and in place instead of always pulling out two or three at a time, which irritates me very much. I chose a navy blue because I wanted a more masculine bathroom for a change, and it arrived in navy blue. Now, instead of leaving a pack of wipes on the countertop and hoping it’s not empty when I get to it, I simply rip open one or two packs and place them and this holder. Its operation really couldn’t be simpler. I did not shop around a whole lot other than a low price. But I am happy with the products I got so I suppose the price is on point. If I had two bathrooms, I would definitely buy another one of these. (we use these as normal bathroom tissue instead of toilet paper because we feel it does a better job. And then we do not flush these, but rather trashcan them.)

I bought this for adult Cottonelle wipes!

It fits half a bag of the large refill package. Look, you should buy this if you use those things. Bidets are overrated. The Cottonelle brand won’t clog your pipes, if you pee into a piece of it in the bowl, you’ll see it dissolve right away. It’s fine! This container has a nice closure mechanism and it’s weirdly satisfying to open/shut. The ceramic weight does exactly what it’s supposed to. OXO is my religion, everything they make is gold, even if the parent company (Helen of Troy, Inc.) is based in Texas.

Easy

I use this for my dog wipes, I open & close it back up with the back of my hand and it’s very convenient and sanitary when I don’t want to touch it with my fingers. So glad I got this to replace the one we previously had where I had to use my fingers to unlatch the lid. The weight inside keeps the wipes in place so you can use one hand.

I don’t know why I love this so much but I really do. It has a nice look to it, feels sturdy, nice spring to the open button, keeps the wipes moist enough. I love the tiny touch of accent color on it. Genuinely pleased.

Holy Grail

If you’re an avid baby wipe user, whether for your kids or yourself, this is an absolute must-have. Gone are the days of having to viciously shake a wipe out of those crappy packages they come in - and they’re an eyesore. This baby wipe container is so much easier to get wipes out and it looks better.

Get this for everyone!

Someone gave this to me four years ago at my baby shower even though I didn't register for it. It's amazing! I hate when wipes get stuck when you try to take out one of the package they come in, this prevents that. The wipes stay moisturized and its easy to open and use which is needed especially in emergencies. I have now gifted 7 of these to people because of how much I love it.

〰 THE Wipe Dispenser That Every Home Needs 〰

The media could not be loaded. ~~~~~~~~ Overview ~~~~~~~~ I never realized that I had such passion for this topic until I noticed that the baby wipes plastic tubs were slowly disappearing from store shelves everywhere. Well, it turns out that some of the major brands discontinued the tubs, opting to go with the pre-existing ''crinkly-plastic-wrapper-type packs''. These packs might be an acceptable space saving option for travel, but they can be awkward to use...especially with just one hand. ~~~~~~~~ My Objective ~~~~~~~~ So, I started looking at dispensers that were user-friendly to operate, optimal for re-use, and sturdy enough to last for the foreseeable future. We buy our baby wipes in bulk, so I wanted the restocking of the dispenser to be effortless, even for little helpers. I also wanted one that was aesthetically pleasing, since we use them all around the house. ~~~~~~~~ My Observations ~~~~~~~~ For starters, the dispenser opens with a simple push on the lid. Around the lid is a silicone gasket that acts as a mechanical seal. These are meant to prevent leaks and minimize fluid loss. So, in this case, the seal helps in preventing the wipes from drying out; as the goal is to keep the wipes fresh and moist for extended periods of time. The front of the dispenser has a clear front window indicator through which you can observe the remaining wipe levels. This feature basically takes the guesswork out of restocking needs. Last but not least, is the weighted interior plate feature. Simply put, a heavy plate sits on top of the wipes and keeps the rest of the pile perfectly in place. Because it is so heavy, it allows wipes to be removed easily one at a time through a hole that is in the middle of the plate. This feature also ensures that the next wipe is ‘’up and ready’’ and makes it easy to access, even with just one hand. This solves the often-occurring issue of trying to pull out a single wipe and accidentally pulling out a large stack instead. Additionally, the bottom of the dispenser is equipped with non-slip feet which help in keeping the dispenser in place while the wipes are being pulled out. ~~~~~~~~ The Verdict ~~~~~~~~ I have started switching all of my old wipe tubs for these Oxo Tot Perfect Pull Wipes Dispenser throughout the house and I must say that these are a major upgrade and I wish that I made the switch sooner. When wipe levels are low, my hand doesn’t get stuck in the dispenser anymore. When I only need one wipe, I don’t unintentionally end up pulling large stacks of them. When I have to change a very soiled diaper in the middle of the night, and the wipe dispenser is running low…and as I am frantically pulling wipes out while holding my toddler’s legs up…this dispenser actually stays in place. No more dispensers flying around the nursery. In the end, although it is a bit pricey, the quality really makes it worth it. Great purchase. Would totally recommend.

If the lid would stay shut it would be an incredible product

I bought this to hold reusable face wipes for my 13month old after deciding we used far too many wet wipes at the dinner table. (A swap I'd highly recommend, saved a small fortune, throw the flannels in a hot wash every few days). I've been using it for over a year now, and have constantly had issues with the lid not staying closed. I'd have sent it back if I hadn't already used it. The box is sturdy, once closed the wipes stay wet and the weight plate does its job perfectly. If it wasn't for the lid keep popping open it would be exactly what I need and I would highly recommend it. But... Having to press the lid closed time and time again has finally pushed me to purchase a different box, and I won't buy this one again. I was disappointed, as Oxo is such a reliable brand. I spent more on this box confident it would be worth it as I've never had issues with my oxo products before. Maybe a fault with my box? But I'm not risking it with a second purchase.

Avec des pattes antidérapantes, il ne bouge pas sur la table et le mécanisme d’ouverture assure une étanchéité du récipient. Je recommande fortement!

Mould growth within 11 months

I purchased this item in June 2020, and used it from August 2020 til June 2021. It was initially super handy and as described dispenses individual wipes with reasonable ease. However early June I noticed a few black spots along the rubber seal, initially I thought this might be dust or lint from my hands and wiped it away, however it returned with forced over the following days, where I discovered it was mould. I’m mortified that a product designed to hold wet wipes for use around babies and children hasn’t had appropriate treating applied to it, it prevent mould. Needless to say, it’s in the trash now. I reached out to the seller in regards to this, fully acknowledging that the time frame is beyond the Amazon return period but still rather disappointing for what is marketed as an expensive premium product, and the seller palmed me off to Amazon support which obviously cannot do anything due to returns policy. I’m disappointed in this product. I have ordered the ubbi branded version and look forward to a better experience. Don’t waste your money or time with this
