Amazon's newer star rating categories are way off. how soft how much stretch? Product is fine!

Ok searched for something to contain a nice travel supply of wipes. Wanted something not too big and that did not make crinkle sounds to wake up the dead. I know sleeping babes shouldn't be SO SENSITIVE to noise but some can be. And I cringe myself when I reach for a wipe at times for babe or for other reason and the case makes terrible crinkling noise. YES this does just that NO CRINKLE SOUND but it does snap shut and pop's open with noise to a degree one can control that by anticipating it is going to make that sharp sound by just holding the lid firmly in place then pressing the bar to snap open and repeat to close to avoid that. IF YOU REMEMBER in middle of night. Otherwise haven't used long enough to insure if it prevents drying out of wipes or not. But since it holds enough for shorter trips and for shorter periods of use I suspect it will make it through those amounts without a problem. If I were to fill it up and forget it for long periods of time say a month or two then I would only have myself to blame if the wipes dried out. That's my opinion of course which is what reviews are all about our own perspective. I know others would feel cheated if their wipes didn't last a year or two untouched in the case and still wet and fresh upon opening. For all I know this item does that but I am not going to give it a trial period to find out. It does what I wanted no crinkle sound to use and it is a bit bigger than some will be expecting it is not a tiny little case. But all that aside it met my needs perfectly. As long as the flip up door continues to catch and the side opening to fill it catches I will be happy happy happy. Though the wipes I use a water based baby wipe no scent they are classic baby wipe size of course. It appears one could get a slightly larger wipe say a face wipe into them with little to no problem but not sure about the body wipes they now have for adult travelers and gym users of such items. I think it would be a bit too short but maybe wide enough. Also a key here DO NOT over pack the case as it will be difficult to pull the wipes out as needed. I know this is logical for most of us but sometimes someone is new to such products and like a kleenex box I got as a young teen one time because the person that was gifted to couldn't squeeze in a box plus kleenex and then only ripped the next 10 being pulled out so they asked if I wanted it and sure enough I did...and I knew the problem and how simple to avoid too. So now more than 30 years later I still use that marvalous solid walnut kleenex dispenser. So the same applies here...a few and I was surprised to how many a few is fit into this nicely. I do not bother to count them I just pull out of my refill pack what seems to be a good fit without over packing and then close the lid. I know some counted their wipes around 20 to 25. I find wipes do vary in thickness so just not bothering with the stats here folks. I am satisfied with the item to date. It arrived from the Amazon Warehouse with no damage and so happy. I did wipe it down with some alcohol not knowing for sure who or what might have been in contact with it but basically to insure no plastic mold release residue stayed about so nothing would rub off onto a wipe and cause any issue with delicate skin types. This grown babe is happy so is the one waiting to grow up. Much happier. Stay safe everyone and keep your common sense caps on during these peculiar times to stay well. Remember masks do not keep you safe you are doing it to protect others and to stop the spread as best you can and do your part. And with that note that baby wipes offer ZERO sanitizer qualities they are just a means to clean up pooh and other messes with. Yes they do make sanitizer wipes I have some prells that are packaged individually so do not need a dispenser and owned the box I have prior to any Pandemic. We were lucky to have them so when I made up my mask pack each individual packed 2-3 masks in an individual labeled easy zip bag gets several prell wipes tucked in too along with sandwich sized ziplocks to return used mask throw away or washable to so no continued contamination occurs after use. And removal. I see a lot of people have no idea how to handle the mask situation throw aways as well as cloth. Throwaways are disposed of properly and the washables are then dropped out of the bag container without touching and laundered right in the machine. We have mesh washing bags to protect the masks from destruction in the washer and so far works great. The prell allows one to have some hand sanitizer to use wisely say after touching or handling the masks to prevent contamination. We do not go over board with saftey but we do our part in this situation it's the only respectful way to show your love of others and to help prevent our own getting it by doing our part to keep the numbers of spreading down. Yes we do not have it. Yes we are at ages and have a few health issues that mean we do not want it. Hubby is what is called a skinny diabetic. I have an anti immune condition and our ages are against us too. So over all doing what we can to stay fit and healthy and social distance along with masks and good hygiene we plead with others to think outside the box on this one and grasp the finer details of what works and what you can do and how you can do your part. Stay safe EVERYONE. And help others stay well too.

Perfect for diaper bags

Love this OXO wipe dispenser. It fits perfectly into my diaper bag without taking up too much space. I can easily use it one handed. There is a rubber strap on the end if you wanted to hook it to something. I haven't had any issues with leakage and can fit a fair amount of wipes in there.

There are definitely some limitations

The product is easy to travel with, however opening and closing require some additional effort. The opening for the wipes happens to be very wide. This causes several wipes to come out when you’re trying to grab only one. It can only hold half the amount of wipes that the disposable pack can carry. It’s a decent case, but needs some improvement.

Small and Sleek

Perfect size to slip in a carry bag, easy pop up lid. No fumbling with the regular package. OXO products just make sense!

It's alright.

It only holds about 15 wipes so I might end up getting the larger version. It does an ok job of separating the wipes with each pull.

A regression in product quality

They almost had a slam dunk here. Relatively thin profile with decent capacity and ease of use. I dunno about durable cause I haven't had mine thrown around or drop suffer any chance of damage but it seems sturdy enough. So what's the catch? No rubber seals. Not at the dispensing door, not around the edge of the loading doors. This means that containment of liquid is not guaranteed and perhaps even worse, than the moment you load your wipes in this, they will begin to dry out. Obviously not as fast as out in the open but enough to make you notice. I have one in the car and one to carry around. The carry one is used more often and while I don't lose all moisture from wipes, wipes still do not seem to retain the amount as in other containers. The car one is used sparingly but after a few months, they become uselessly dry. But here's the kicker - Oxo knows better. They've created a bigger reusable containers for the home that work just fine AND have rubber seals to keep the moisture in. I've had hidden boxes found a couple years later still retain almost as much moisture as if the wipes were new. So they either deliberately cheaped out on this item or missed the ball big times. I would not recommend this product.

Great for half a diaper change...

Barely holds enough wipes for one poopy diaper change. I’ll be looking for something with at least 3x the amount of space this one provides. That being said it’s fairly sturdy and looks great, just wish it was waaaay bigger. After one outing with this wipe dispenser, I’m returning for a refund. If you like having to refill your wipe dispenser MID DIAPER CHANGE...This is the perfect dispenser for you. I’m quite shocked that a product this useless was created by OXO Tot... I love everything else I’ve gotten from them, but this was a grand disappointment.

Se abre muy fácil

El plástico está resistente, caben alrededor de 25 toallitas. El problema es que el botón para abrir y sacar una toallitas es algo sensible así que si lo traes en la bolsa lo más probable es que se te abra... Yo lo compre para traer toallitas desinfectantes. Esta algo brumoso. Lo bueno es que si mantiene la humedad de las toallitas

No me sirve

Por ser de una marca que nunca me había fallado me decepcionó mucho, está sencillo el diseño y lo suficientemente delgada para llevar en la bolsa pero no tiene sello de silicón o algo ni dónde cargas las toallas ni por dónde las sacas entonces se secar rápido. Si usas las toallitas así de en uno o dos días máximo está perfecta, abre fácil y la puedes traer colgada. Pero yo la quería para uso más ocasional o para tenerlas en el carro y no, se me secaron luego luego.

Needs rework

This is great and everything, but as others have said - the opening has no silicone to keep the tissue moisture inside - every tissue you keep in this will dry up in couple of days because of the design It's ok if you constantly take it and refill it...but for vaccation long term travel - it's useless
