One stop chop!

I love that I can chop up almost anything, including chicken for my soup or salad. You can chop or dice your ingredients to your delight. Very satisfied with this product

Makes great coleslaw

We are on our second one. Use it all the time to make coleslaw. My partner loads it up with cabbage and other stuff and really gives it a work out and it has done a great job holding up over the years. Our first one finally cracked and we bought this replacement.

Great chopper

Great tool for cutting veggies, especially onions. Suction can be a little finicky but I would still recommend purchase.

Handle cracked

Works great. But I think I over filled it. It was difficult to turn and at some point the handle cracked at the base where it turns. Still works but I’m aware of it and trying to be careful and not over fill again.

Great Disappointment in OXO brand

I have used OXO kitchen tools all my life and even bought as gifts, but this one is a big disappointment. There was no suction to hold the chopper in place and the only way it chopped onions was to practically complete the process by hand and then put it in the chopper. I’d return it if I could; $37 is a lot to pay for something that doesn’t work.

Wanted to love this...

It's a cool little gadget for small jobs (salsa, chopping nuts), but it's not so great for certain vegetables. My son has a disability and I want him to be able to use this instead of an electric chopper (more risk involved). He needs to chop up celery and onions for a recipe he likes. However this little device did not work at all for the celery and onions (they were big chunks but not huge ones) and basically the unit broke! He couldn't get it to turn at all and when I tried (and I'm kind of weak in the arms) the turning mechanism made a grinding noise, went around once, then jammed up. I took out all the veggies and it did the same thing. I returned it, sadly.

Not a Very good chopper

Very good chopper; super sharp blades; the suction base is great, but you have to moisten it to get a good grip (wet your finger and run it around the edge of the base - this allows a perfect seal on the counter top and a super grip from the suction cup). Not hard to clean, but be careful of the blade. --------------------- UPDATE: after one month, lots of resistance turning the handle. When empty, it turns easily. When it is filled, there is huge resistance to turning. I returned it.

Does the job.

I purchased this specifically to get some dates shredded. Unfortunately this piece of machine does not stand up to the task. I was thinking of returning it and getting something similar but electric but I have read reviews that they cannot be used for a long amount of time, bulky, break etc.. so I left it. I used it again for veggies and fruit, ham, chicken and it does the job well. Just a bit annoyed that I couldn’t use it for what I intended to.

Best for softer veggies.

Good chopper. Very sharp blades. Suction mount holds well. Chops onion & celery with ease. Carrots are more difficult and need to be chopped manually before being put into hand chopper. Warning: blades are super sharp. I cut myself washing the blades.

Great Quality - super Handy

I bought this to chop small quantities of mainly onions and not cry like a baby. I've since used it to make pesto, salsa & egg salad. Note that it pureed more than chopped the tomatoes. but all kinds of onions & peppers are well chopped. The 3 layers of blades also reduces the need to scrape down the sides of the bowl as often.
