Love it for homemade salad dressing

Love it for making salad dressing. Just put ingredients in, shake and ready! Top closes tight and opens easily and its attractive enough to put on the table. I make a very healthy, delicious, keto, anti-inflammation Italian dressing using Bragg's apple cider vinegar, Italian salad dressing mix, avocado oil and water. Takes about 20 seconds and done! This product was a problem-solver for me.

Works well except. . .

This salad dressing shaker is well made and a very good size. It washes easily. I would have given it 5 stars if only it had one of those metal balls inside to help create the emulsion. I had an extra one from an old model that didn't work as well and it fit. Now it's perfect. OXO should consider this small redesign.

Good EXCEPT ...

I have the large and small ones of these. I want to use it for mayonnaise based dressings and when you pour it out and then close the top it is so MESSY. The dressing just sits on the little flip lid and you have to wipe or wash it off or it just hardens in the fridge until the next time it's used. Probably with just oil and vinegar based dressings it might work better but not for slaw dressing ;-(

I'm pretty happy with this

I'm pretty happy with this. I was looking for something in which I can make and store dressing and where it would not leak when I shake it and not run all over the sides of the container. Previously, I would make my dressing in old mustard jars, and it would totally leak all over when I shook them. This is not perfect and there is still a drip issue, but I suppose it would be hard to avoid that with anything (except perhaps a toil glass jar with a long metal spout- but in that case, you would not be able to shake without a leak, I imagine.) So the only downsides of this contraption are: 1)I wish it were bigger- I basically go through the full volume of dressing in one week and since vinaigrette keeps for a long time, I wish I could make a larger volume. 2)when shaking the seals are totally tight and totally reliable- amazingly so and it is impressive technology. However, when you pour, the dressing does kind of stick to the spout and remain there (I usually "clean" it off with some lettuce to use it), and some gets in the top of the green thing and accumulates there. That part is hard to clean off, so it kind of accumulates until I wash the whole contraption, in my case a week later. But all in all I think this is very well made and clever. If there were a bigger size I would be very psyched to get it.

I love it

Had 2 of these 3 years ago and I ordered 2 more this year .. I use them for liquid stuff in the kitchen not for salad dressing .. I filled up each in different type of oil ( olive oil / vegetables oil) and the ones I got today I am gonna fill one up with vinegar and the other lemon juice ... I have 4 so far and they work just cool .. I wash them and they still hold pretty good ????

Easy to use, mix, pour and clean, with no leaks.

I needed a salad dressing bottle with graduations so I could just fill, shake & pour. I've gotten good products from Oxo, so I thought that this might be a good choice. I'm really happy that I bought it! The bottle is very easy to hold with its rubbery, textured green grip. It's easy to clean, although it's a bit tricky around the pouring spout, but show me a bottle that isn't (except using a cork). It's graduated so I can easily pour in my oil & water (or whatever your salad dressing of choice) without having to use a measuring cup, and shake it up really well, no leaks. Did I mention that it opens for pouring & closes back with one hand? Overall, I think that I made an excellent choice.

Great!

Larger size lasts much longer. Dishwasher cleans the dressing shaker very well! No drips, but make sure it is secured, closed well at top, before shaking.

Seals tightly with control over how much comes out the spout

I really wanted something that sealed tightly that I could shake my salad dressing in. That was pretty much the entirety of my requirements. I didn't care if it was glass or BPA-free plastic, I just wanted something that I could occasionally toss in the dishwasher if I didn't have time or energy to hand wash. The majority of them out there are so complicated with recipes on the outside or complicated designs. I even thought this one would be way more than what I needed but after using this for three months now, I can honestly say I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It seals very securely. I've never had anything leak through. It says it's dishwasher safe but I've only ever put the bottom cup part (without the green silicone/rubber seal which is located on the lid) in there. I'm not willing to risk the nice seal this thing has for the convenience of tossing it in the dishwasher. As such, I always hand wash and it's very quick and easy. The top spout part opens up just enough to be able to get part of the sponge in there or a tip of a finger for easy cleaning. The pour spout is also extremely nice to have. You can control how much dressing comes out with the little green lever at the top which is super handy and the measurements on the side could be useful as well. I'm one of those people who just kinda wings it and pours in whatever looks good so I've never actually taken advantage of it but I can see how this could be a time saver in how you don't have an extra measuring cup to wash. All in all, this is definitely recommended.

True to it’s product description!

This was a bit smaller than I expected, but I didn’t read the dimensions before ordering. It’s very thick and sturdy plastic. I love the colour. The pour spout works well and seals well. I had to cut my dressing recipe down a bit to fit it in, but I didn’t go through it all in a week anyways so it worked out just fine. It wld be a breeze to clean if u had a dishwasher (I do not), so I had to wash it really well twice to get the oil off, but that’s to be expected with oil and plastics. I’m very happy with this product!

Great design

Good Points: 1. You can unscrew the top and have ample room to add ingredients (unlike the traditional salad dressing bottles) 2. The fitting at the top pivots but stays in place, so it doesn't get lost or fall off 3. Enough room in the container to make a good portion of salad dressing (1 1/2 cups) 4. Plastic so doesn't break if you drop it with oily hands 5. Dishwasher safe 6. Looks ok to put on the table (although the colour green is not my favourite) 7. Has a spout so you can pour it easily, and close it afterwards No so good: 1. Inherent in the great design is a small consideration - the spout does get dirty with what ever you pour out of it. So if you make enough sauce/salad dressing for many servings, you really should close the spout fitting and wash it or remove the whole top and wash it after each serving. Some people say this defeats the purpose of having a reusable shaker, but I think it is a small price to pay. I find it really useful and well engineered for making salad dressings. Perfect for my homemade dressing

This is a perfect container for my homemade dressing. Just the right size for my recipe and I love the easy-pour spout. I find I can't over-pour or dressing spills out on top of the lid. But with the top being a good seal, a quick rinse under the tap takes care of that.

Wide 7cm Mouth Easy Fill Easy Clean

Rated 4 stars over packed large box, Then packing was inside a plastic bag and a cardboard collar hanger and still had a small scratch on shaker at £12.00 packing did not work. I kept the vinaigrette shaker as it had all the functions that I wanted, Easy to unscrew, great feel, wide 7cm mouth for adding the ingredients from teaspoon to tablespoon and could grind pepper salt straight into jar from grinders. Very good measuring scales in 3 types of scales OZ 0 to 12, ML 0 to 350, Cups 0 to 1 1/2. Easy to control toggle pour that locks and seals for safe none spill shaking with none drip lip. Very easy to clean with soap and water and a shake, dead easy to dry. OXO always a little expensive but quality product.

Wonderful! Easy to clean, perfect size, thick walls and leak-proof. I use it at least twice a week, very happy with the find.
