Wish all the pockets weren't uniform in size.

I really like this jewelry organizer. It's well crafted, durable and made of a strong and thick material. My only 2 dislikes of it and reasoning for 4 stars rather than 5 is the color and all the pockets are the exact same size. It would be nice if some of the pockets were bigger for larger earings and necklaces. So I will have to find something else for those items but other than that I like this product.

This is my 2nd one, superior product!

So impressed with this organizer this is actually my second purchase of the same item. I had purchased 2 different organizers originally, kept both. But this one has so many upgrades compared to the other I decided to get another. Would I like a few more large pockets for my heavier neclaces, yes. But after having the first for awhile now, I will figure out something. The most important part is that after over a week it is not bending from the weight as the other one has, due to the thick high grade aluminum hanger. So, it is extremely sturdy. The compartments are made so that the bottom of one touches the top of the pocket underneath. This keeps the items in without zippers. But, as far as a travel bag, I can't answer that. For 1 thing you would have to be going somewhere a very long time to need one this size. 2. As I mentioned, no zippers. You would have to be very careful how you packed it and going thru customs could be a problem with the lazefair attitude some agents have. I don't want zippers on this type of organizer because I have seen the zippers cause scratches on certain types of jewelry. This is the perfect organizer for your in between jewelry. Not the high end, but the mid grade, exceptional stones, sterling silver, and 10k gold. (14 and esp 18k scratch due to the softness). The fabric allows it to breathe, keeping the moisture that adds tarnish away. I have also placed a non tarnish treated cloth in the pockets I have sterling silver stored. The clear vinyl is a heavy good quality. I can finally see and find all the matching pieces at once, FAST! Obviously, I have a few decades on me to be able to fill 2 of these. Most of you will only need one, unless you have a large costume jewelry collection. Again, the canvas is kinder to ANY jewelry than non woven vinyl. And today, even some costume jewelry is on the expensive side. All in all, very pleased with the product. I contacted their Customer Service and was treated kindly with my suggestion for a few larger pockets. So now we can add, great customer service from the manufacturer. Yes, I would recommend and even gift this, it's that good.

Very Versatile and Great Quality for the Price Point

I had been keeping my collection of earrings in boxes stashed here and there. It was not an ideal way to keep them because I could never choose from all of them each day and ended up using only a few pairs that were on top, so I decided to order this hanging organiser after looking at several different brands. I thought the price seemed a little high, but now that I have it, I think the price is pretty reasonable over all. It seems quite well made and sturdy. Each pocket can easily hold two pair of small to medium sized earrings. French hook earrings store best in these pockets because they lie flat. Post earrings are a tiny bit more of a challenge, but the pockets will still accommodate them. The pockets are large enough to hold brooches and even small, chain like bracelets pretty easily. Best of all is I can now see almost all of my earrings each day, so most of them will be in a rotation and get worn, which is why I bought them in the first place! I am considering ordering a second one of these for myself. I think this item would make a great gift for anyone who has more costume jewellery than she can easily keep up with each day. This hanging organiser would work for any small items, though, not just earrings. It would be a great way to label and store perfume samples, buttons and other sewing items, baby's socks, rings, nuts and bolts, keys, and just about any other small items that get lost or ignored because they are buried in drawers, boxes, etc. I am glad this was the brand I choose amongst the many that are available. I highly recommend it. It is worth the $17 I spent for it. I gave it four stars out of five at this time because I have yet to see how it will wear over time, but I think it will hold up very well given its construction. I imagine given enough time the PVC plastic will yellow and degrade, but that should not happen for years.

Great Quality and easy to locate earrings and necklaces ...

I have a lot of fashion jewelry and needed something durable. I've tried many different organizers: jewelry boxes, (clear acrylic) containers that I lined with felt, vinyl hangers with vinyl pockets, and other bags. I've also sold jewelry for a short spell and ordered countless storage items. This one is the best so far! If you want something to storage your jewelry in, you've found a winner. The hanger attached is metal and super strong; it will never break or bend, The clear pockets with the canvas is the best quality organizer, I've ever seen all for under $20. The pockets on this organizer are different sizes. It has 40 pockets on each side, for a total of 80. The pockets on the bottom 2 rows, which total 8 are larger that's the others. This allows you too store large pieces in them. The small pockets are a nice size and I can get two or three sets of earrings or necklaces in them. I try to limit to 2 pair earrings,so I can easily spot what I'm looking for. I also color coordinate my jewelry organizer, this definitely helps when looking for a particular color. Did I mention I already have 3 of them. Yes, I have three of them; this was the 4th. I've had the other three for 3 years and they are still hanging strong. They do not have a zipper to close pocket, but then they wouldn't be quick to grab, if I had to fumble with a zipper. I've had ones with zippers and velcro, but found it was more of a nuisance. However, when I sold jewelry it would have been helpful; so they wouldn't fall out while traveling. So, this is not a organizer to carry around; definitely home use. I've also given a few as gifts to friends who have love jewelry and it was a hit. I don't normally write reviews but this was such a great product, I have to comment. You won't regret this product!

One of the best things I’ve bought

I have a large collection of brooches from Australia and Russia. I’ve been looking for two years for a way to display them. Someone told me about this and I immediately bought it. Super sturdy!! I’ve got a massive amount in there and it’s a life saver!! Highly recommend! Ps: pockets are a bit shorter but two rows at bottom are nice and tall.

I ordered this one at the same time as the white vinyl model that is $4 cheaper from the same computer. This one is a lot sturdier, probably more durable and thicker, made of canvas and the overall dimensions are a little bigger for the same number of pockets. The hanger is very solid (a bit TOO solid!), so I think I bought the right model for me since I was thinking of using it in my basement or in my tool shed for all my little hardware things that I don't really have a place for. I haven't tried it yet, but it definitely looks sturdier than the vinyl one I put my jewelry in.

Surprisingly good!

I purchased this to organize my costume jewelry and accessories, and it works remarkably well. I am very happy to recommend this organizer as it is well made, the canvas is of very good quality and weight. It comes with many pockets; to improve this product would be to have various sizes of pockets from small, medium to large as it was difficult to put larger accessories as they were not large enough. Other than that, it has organized my accessories where I can clearly see each item.

A must for the serious jewelry fan.

What it lacks in looks it more than makes up for in durability. It is sturdy and stands up a lot better than some of the "prettier" options, especially if you are into some of the chunkier jewelry. This is my second one I liked the first so much I decided to I would start replacing my other jewelry organizers.
