Does not replace a steel brush

I've only had it for a few days, but i actually like this a lot. Other brushes I've had would flake paint into the pool, or start to rust, but this actually cleans really well, and even though it's plastic, feels really tough, and I don't cringe if it scrapes the side of the pool. The pole attaches deep in, making it a bit harder to attach and detach, but other than that I love it so far. I'll try and update after a year of use. Edit: Won't even take a year for me to update here. Changing from 5* to 3*. The advertised feature here: "Pro Grit - Heavy Duty Pro Grit Bristles for deep down dirt and algae removal" just doesn't perform as well as a steel brush. Nowhere near as well. I was exclusively using this brush for the last month, and slowly started getting a buildup of algae that I could not brush away no matter how hard I scrubbed with this brush. I took out my old steel brush and made short work of it. I then did a side by side comparison brushing with the steel brush and this brush, and it's quite noticeable. This can not replace a steel brush. I still like the brush, but that "Pro Grit" feature is a huge disappointment.

Nice and strong bristles

Nice and strong bristles, way better than the Pentair Mix bristle which I used for years until now, and this oreq is way lighter also the clips to insert the pole is way better, it doesn't wear out the holes from the pole,

Nice brush for your pool

Good stiff brush. This replaced my stainless steel mix bristled one. Like it better.
