4 port manifold to convert your sprinkler head into 4 - drip lines

Needed to replace a broken manifold unit and found this one. Easy to install the drip hose lines onto the manifold unit. Each of the right angle connectors on the manifold are moveable allowing you to easily adjust any of the tubing for the irrigation system. Plastics seem of high quality. Overall did the job for replacing my old manifold.

Works great in tight spaces

Real easy to use, easy to install, pretty durable for how tiny it is, too, provided you take the appropriate precautions (e.g., heat up the tubing before installing if you’re using thick or hard tube, etc.). For anyone asking about thread size, this unit is four barbs on one side, 3/4” NPT on the other, and there’s a sediment screen sandwiched between it and a reducer (3/4” FNPT to 1/2” FNPT). You don’t actually need the reducer—as you can see in my photos, I took it off and threaded the manifold (along with its screen/filter) into a 3/4” ball valve. Perfect for top-feeding these plants when they’re just getting started! For $4 or whatever, this thing is awesome, and while I honestly expect it to last, I’ll probably buy a couple more just in case. Word of caution—if you do not take the reducer off, be careful threading it onto stuff because it’s easy to crack the reducer by overtorque and there’s a good chance it’ll leak if you crack that.

Threads are 1/2" NPT, not 3/4 Garden Hose Thread

I bought a bunch of these to attach to the end of my garden hose to water my yard while I'm away. I had to also buy a 1/2" NPT to 3/4" GHT adapter, which made the part a little more expensive than it should have been. But still, it is pretty sturdy and worked well.

So far so good

While I wish I could block off unused ports, they work just fine. I have over 122 sprinkler endpoints on my property, so upgrading all of them is costly, bur cheaper than enduring a wasted water bill.

Good pressure, but be careful with host compatibility

The thread appears to be a 1/2" size, so it won't fit on your standard garden hose. Interestingly, you can (with great effort) twist off the thread, and you get a male close to 3/4" thread, which may work with your hose (albeit male rather than female). But there weren't many products that do what this does for water pressure. I was able to get only 4 micro-irrigation sprinklers to work reasonably well with a single hose adapter, but with this one, i was able to get the same pressure on one line, but have other lines that I can run that also get the same pressure.

Always leaks

It consistently drips. Tried everything to seal or tighten connection. But where the tubbing meets the device it leaks. It needs a way to secure the tubes onto to device. Not worth it if you don't wany wasted water.

They are worth the price.

These work as advertised .There are no leaks although to be sure I put an "O" ring in each one to be sure. I use them in a grow room and all four outlets go to one plant, but very easily could go to four different plants if they were small plants. Very satisfied and would buy again.

Good unit

I have not hooked this up fully yet, but I got it working with 2 ports, very happy with it so far, does not leak doing what I wanted it to do and very fast delivery.
