Genuine Drippers Work Well, Beware of Counterfeits
I've gotten two packages of these drippers. The first was an Amazon return and they worked as intended. For one gallon an hour you should see a drop every few seconds. I ordered the second set and immediately I could tell something was wrong. All of them just spray water out. At first I thought it may be a pressure issue as I didn't intially have a pressure reducer hooked up and they were at the ends of the lines (due to the fact I worked outwards and had to order more) but with a 25psi reducer installed the flow was the same. I used a measuring cup to determine they're emitting anywhere from 3-4 gallons an hour. This could easily swamp and root rot a plant in a couple weeks. Nevermind your water bill will be a lot higher than you expected. I examined the new drippers and they are inconsistent with the old ones. The front of the genuine drippers reads RAIN DRIPPER, the defective ones read RAIN DRPPER, the I is missing. The defective ones are also more matte looking than the genuine ones. In the picture the defective dripper is on the left. If you get these and they're spraying water you could simply cut the timer to 15-20 minutes instead of an hour to get the same effect water wise. If you have different flow rate emitters this could be a problem. As I have good ones and bad ones I'm sending this set back to try again for a bag of legit ones.

Great price,Easy to use
Really like the rain drip drippers they are less likely to plug up than the Competition

They are what they are
Haven't placed under pressure yet, that's tomorrow, may need to edit my review then. Liked the price and quantity. If they work as good as dig's, then I will be very, very happy.

Wish these were reusable!
I set up drip irrigation for my fruits and vegetables this spring. So far I’m not getting leaks. These were too difficult to attach if you have a thermos of hot water to soak the hose in before trying to force the hose on. The problem is if you want to take them off you would have to soak them again or cut them off. It would have been helpful to know this before purchasing. There are more expensive options that screw on and off.

One of the top two drippers we use
If we don't use these like we see it examples, we like it much better. These are some of our favorite drippers, used backwards. We plug the tapered in directly into the mainline hose and then attach a micro tube to the smooth end. This allowed for less strain on our hands, which happens, especially after running a whole garden with the various tapered pieces, and less the need to use a whole other connector. With the open end of the micro tube, we place that at the base of our plants. This way it's regulated, but much easier to place and modify, if we need to replace the micro tube, we don't have to cut it off the dripper.

25% failure rate within the first minute
Huge disappointment! After adding 38 of these units to a garden drip bed, I found that 10 of the drippers shot a solid stream of water. Not drops, a solid stream. After replacing the bad drippers 2 of the replacements shot a solid stream. I can't recommend these to anyone.

good, reliable drippers
I've used these for almost 30 years now, and many of these drippers in my 1500' of drip lines are over 15 years old. They occasionally (maybe one or two per year out of the perhaps 900 drippers I have [and these may be many years old]) pop something inside and instead of a drip, I get a stream -- but they are easy to replace. I like these better than another brand I've tried, because I can securely attach 1/4" drip hose to the end and run the 1/4" line to a plant that is several feet away from the main 1/2" drip line -- the 1/4" line often falls off the end of the other brand, since the tip seems just slightly smaller than this brand so the 1/4" line doesn't stay securely on (though of course neither brand is sold saying one can attach 1/4" line to their ends).

Used with gravity feed watering system
These were used for a gravity feed system, they worked great. Don't believe they do 1 mph in this application, but they water evenly and slowly. I let run for 2 hours and plants are well watered.
