Smaller than it sounds
I bought this pet carrier because it was the largest one on the market that actually fit the dimensions required by allegiant airlines (aside from the height). With it being a soft-top, I figured I could squish it down to fit under the seat, but when you push the top of the carrier down, there comes a point where the entire thing just caves in instead (could be an issue depending on seat height). This is meant to be a positive feature - meaning the top is sturdy and well supported, but it just wasn't what I needed it for. My ultimate goal was to fit two cats in the same carrier comfortably, and that's why I sought out to buy an enormous one that still met airline standards (it's impossible to find a carrier that measures 16”W x 19”D). My other problem with this carrier is that the padding takes up several inches of space - therefore, the inside of this bag is nowhere near the diminsions of the outside. My cats are of average size, and they wouldn't be comfortable together in this carrier. That being said, this carrier is really nice (but VERY expensive!). It is sturdy, well constructed, and a luxurious way of traveling for a pet! It's versatile too - could be used as a pet bed and has many options for unzipping. The sides do come out so you can clean the fabric - but this wasn't an option to benefit my case because without them the carrier does not have the needed support. Needless to say, I went with another option - but hopefully, this info helps in your decision! It's a nice carrier, but I really don't think it's worth the price unless you travel with your pet often.

So worth it I've bought 3!!
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE his carrier!! I bought my 1st one a couple of years ago to travel with my first 5lb chi and she loved it so much it turned into our 'daily bed'! I got another puppy and it was supposed to be slightly larger than my 5lb chi so I bought another one of these in the medium size (you know where this is headed) That puppy turned out to be 3x the size & eventually went home with my cousin, lol. We now bought a mix breed pup and are coming to check the measurements on the biggest one One For Pets makes!! Hopefully, I am now going to buy the 3rd & last size they make!! She is already squeezing into the one I have instead of the TWO OTHER BEDS I bought for her!!! You can't go wrong with this carrier/bed for any breed that fits in it!! The only issue we had with our 2nd one so far, is that puppy #2 dug a hole in the super plush lining inside as we traveled. Brand new at the time so I was NOT a happy camper! My 1st bed had no issue but the one that had an issue had been being used by the 2 dogs every day at playtime going in and out of the different openings chasing each other like they were in a maze!. Frustrating for the price. Still worth the money!! Oh and very easy to clean up as well! My 3 year old has been traveling in, and using hers daily, that entire time and it still looks GREAT!! I did wash the 2nd one in the machine on delicate with no issue & laid flat to dry. You won't regret the purchase!!

High Quality, But Too Flawed for $150
High quality, but flawed design. This carrier is by far the best-made, highest quality pet carrier I have ever owned. For the listed retail price I do not find this to be a good buy. I got mine on sale, so I'll keep it but I would never pay more than $100 for it. I think Petsfit has the exact same carrier for $100 instead of $150, only a different fabric & mechanism for holding the flap open. 1. Too small (in height). I have a big 13 lb. boy cat & he can't sit on his but in the "large" carrier without scrunching his head down. The dome part that zips off the carrier is just not tall enough. He can only fit comfortably if he is laying down. 2. Bulky to carry. This is a very awkward sized carrier since it is more square than rectangular. Because of this & the strap placement/way it attaches to the carrier when you carry it with the long strap over your shoulder the entire carrier tips to one side. Twice it almost flipped all the way around, which isn't very safe and certainly stressful for your pet. 3. No car seat attachment/pass through for seat belt. Based on the way this carrier is described, I thought it would have a pass-through for a seatbelt or some way to secure it to a car seat. For $150 you think they could make this safe to use in a car. It is beyond me how people don't secure their pets' car seats, because it is the reason why so many pets get hurt in car accidents where they are in the front or back seats. You'd never not buckle a child's car seat in, right? 4. The tab that holds the rolled up door is velcro, so if you have a fluffy pet it will immediately get full of fur. Wish they had used snaps like the Petsfit version of this carrier has

Really nice
Love this carrier for my yorkie. I wanted a bit more room for a blanket so I unzipped the floor pad. It was about 2 inches thick. Took out the hard floor piece and the smaller foam and left the bigger piece of foam. Dropped the floor just enough for me to add a small blanket and the floor still remained plush!. The small fits in the console of our pick up perfectly so he can still be with us! Love this carrier!

The Rolls Royce of per carriers!
I love this carrier, and my dog loves it even more. It’s super comfy for her, but durable and sturdy which makes it great for traveling. Because it’s shaped like a typical pet bed, I think my dog feels extra comfortable and calm. I bought the size small and it’s perfect for my 6 lb chihuahua. She loves to lay in it even when we’re not traveling. Lately my 11 lb cat has been really loving it as well, but I’ll need to order a large size for her. These are more pricey than other carriers, but well worth it in my opinion. Very well made and high quality.

Very good
I love this carrier and so does my miniature Yorkie. I had to send one back as the mesh tore so I ordered another one. You just have to be gentle with it. I tend not to open the top zipper and fold the sides back as that seems to be what weakens it. I roll up the door flap as shown and he loves to go in and out for a sleep. I take the top right off if we are at home so it's easier for him. The thing I love the most is that he finds it comforting and he is used to it because it is both his bed and his carrier. Good find!

I recieved this product and seems to be good quality i purchased the brown and sadly it looks a little burgundy to me so i will be returning it only because of the color , Size is a bit misleading bought the Large and pretty small for a large but still can work for me !! I have already re odered a different color as i do not like this brown one bit !! It looks more like washed out brown sorta purple tones to it ! Anyways like i said its nice quality just caution on color :)

Perfect! We flew from NB to ON so we had to connect in Toronto. No issues. We flew AirCanada Jazz. Because the top of this is mesh, it is squishy and the base is solid so the top squishes down and fits under the seat while not squishing your pet! I have a 15.5lb Havanese. She is 11" at her shoulder and she fit comfortably in the large. A good (albeit expensive) purchase but it will last us many years!

LOVE IT AND SO DOES OUR CAT! It is extremely sturdy with thick cushioning. Our cat does not like carriers so this is great. She's already using it as a bed and we can gradually get her use to the cover being on We live on the second from top floor of an apt building, so it is very important to have something in case of emergency.
