Great for brake calipers

I bought this because I knew I'd be replacing my brake pads and rotors soon, but needed something to compress the piston. Using the old brake pad, this works amazing with clamping it down to fit back over without having to buy a specialty tool. You do need to use a lot of torsion to get it flush, but it does work properly

It's a pretty good clamp I was a little worried about the quick release but it actually works great

WORTHLESS

The quick release caused the clamp to bind up & make it unusable. Glad I had a backup for the break job I bought this for.

They should Call these Types of C-Clamps "Quick Adjusting C-Clamps", When there is no Tension on the C-Clamp you push the Button in and Adjust it to Fit what you are clamping and then Tighten accordingly to the proper Tension for your Project - Then when done Loosen the C-Clamp like Normal with the T-Handle then when there is no Tension on it Push the Button and Pull the Threaded Rod all the way open to take it off the project you just clamped. To me "Quick Release" would make you think that all you had to do was push the Button in and it will release the Tension, from my many times using these types of C-Clamps this is Not So. These Work Great on Calipers, no more Spinning and Spinning the handle Open to fit around the Caliper and again to take it off, just push button open the C-Clamp all the way fit it around the Caliper as needed & Push the button in again and push the threaded rod all the way to the Calipers Piston and you are ready to slowly apply tension to push the piston in to Replace your Brake Pads Sadly this turned into a bad experience and the clamp did not function as it should, will update if something changes.
