Last Belt You Will Buy

Best belt I've had. Residential Electrician. I previously had been using an Atlas46 JourneyMesh and it was OK. Pockets too small, things fall out of chest pockets when leaning over, hot, and never "broke in". Boss and coworker swear by their Occidentals so I finally pulled the trigger. It's leather so yes it's gonna be stiff at first. I bought some saddle soap and worked it a couple times and put my tools into the pockets right after to form. Very durable. Big pouches. The tape pouch will fit a Milwaukee 25ft wide mag tape so don't order the large pouch. I'll probably add the suspenders though. The only thing that would be a nice add on would be handles like gator but I bet a leather shop could add some. These bags will last 10 years easily.

The chain for holding electrical tape is missing the bottom piece and seams a bit short. It is a must have

Bag is perfect for the residential electrician, I like the fact that it has a slot for a speed square, and individual pockets for pliers, screwdrivers, knives, etc… awesome quality should last a lifetime! Wasn’t totally sure about the adjust-to-fit style, but I am so glad I got it, works great, can wear it all day with no complaints!

Me gusta Occidental leather porque son muy comodos talvez al principio es algo molesto e incomodo pero es porque se esta agustando a tu cuerpo se moldea con tu cuerpo y se vuelve como una parte de ti y es muy como de llevarlo puesto acabo de adquirir el de electricista tengo otro para carpintero y con todo los accesorios inverti en el sistema completo como 500 y ah valido cada dolar la inversión súper comodo una vez se haya ajustado a tu cuerpo y el material es de la mejor calidad

Just buy them don’t ponder on the idea of getting them you spend a few hundred now but you will have great work bags for years to come

one size

one size does not fit most. there was no option to pick or choose a size, even if there is different sizes, you can't tell. does fit/work great with the suspension system. I do recommend that you purchase them separately, it was cheaper to go that route.

The layout for the tools are useless. Had to take the tool belt customized for ...

So when I finally received my tool bags I tried them on and love the way they felt on me. They are very comfortable. Very well made. Made out of good quality leather. So when I went to put all my hand tools in the tool bag I realized that the way they designed the tool placement sucks big time. The screw drivers stick out too high. The compartment for the strippers is way too small. I did not want to return the tool bags because I like the Quality of them so decided to take them to my local leather/shoe repair shop and had them redo the tool compartments for my screw drivers and linesman. Also It has a hammer holder in the back which I think is useless. I took that off and put the drill gun holder in its place. Electricians don't carry around hammers what are they thinking. Also had them put in a divider in the big parts pouch so I wont have all parts mixed . So after all of the customizing now I love my occidentals. I just think occidental should ask real electricians on how they should design the hand tool placement in the bags. Its obvious that an electrician didn't design them.

Bought the 9596 adjust to fit. I have to say that it is really comfortable. It took some time to get use to since it was a bit heavier than the Klein 5710 I had. I gave it 4 stars because I would have liked to have more compartments in the pouch to hold my lineman, tin snips, etc. I also ended up purchasing the 5055 Stronghold suspenders. They do make it a whole lot easier to carry most of my tools in my pouch. As far as quality, it is excellent. Never had anything this nice before. Pricey, but in my opinion its worth the money. I absolutely love my tool pouch. Just added the 5037 large tape holster to fit my Stanley 35" tape.

C'est le sac d'outil que j'ai payer le plus chères et celui que j'ai le moins aimé. Très déçus. Ce n'es pas a cause de la Qualité du matériel, bien au contraire, la qualité du sac est incroyable et je suis sur qu'il serait bon pour plusieurs années de chantier. Mais plutôt la conception, les séparateur sont très mal fait des que je me penche tous mes outils tombe par terre, si j'enlève mon sac et que je le dépose par terre, c'est sur que tous les outils sorte du sac, vraiment il me tappe sur les nerfs!

I'm not sure why the only other review on here is only 1-star, but this belt is incredible. I haven't had any of the tool-spilling problems the other reviewer mentioned. This belt is made of some thick leather, it's crazy comfortable and the pouches don't sag like on traditional pouches-on-belt designs. At a 38" waist I even got a drill holster to fit with the hammer loop. The parts pouch can spill easily, but my tools stay locked in March 18, 2020 UPDATE; Been wearing this thing for 5 years. Still good as new, no regrets whatsoever..

Well made belt

Great belt, very comfortable. It’s a bit tougher to adjust than I expected but it’s not something that you will need to do frequently. Tool pockets are well thought out and my tools stay firmly in place.

Great, but could have a few tweaks.

Fits great, comfortable... My tools don't fall out. On occasion the pouch on one side will dump my marrets.. But that's about it. The only design flaw is the small screwdriver holders in the tool side pouch are far to loose, unless you stick 8" screwdrivers in there, they flop around as the loops are only about a cm wide... Once it is broken in I think it will be more comfortable, I just wish the part the pouches are attached to were leather as well. I just feel that's the only part that may not last forever( or close to it). But who knows it might be just fine.. So if those things were different it would get 5 stars. But it doesn't let me pick 4 3/4 stars ... Over all better then my last tool belt, but for this price I hope so.

Absolutely love the belt and pouches...have had klein leathers and their condura setup and this belt far exceeds all i have ever had....its so comfortable completly loaded and evenly distributes the weight on your hips....would suggest this belt to anyone!!!!
