Good Buy for the Money, but One Broke on the First Day

Purchased these as an Easter gift for my 10-year-old son and I to enjoy. He's a travel hockey player and I'm 35 with a goalie's shot. Once we figured out how attach the lower targets (had them backwards the first time) everything was fine. So my son hit the targets a few times and I took a stab. First time I hit one of the upper targets it completely ripped the Velcro strap from the target itself. The target fell to the ground. The threading just seemingly wasn't very strong on that particular strap on that particular target. I tried sewing it back together, but it's hard to do with a needle and thread and will require a sewing machine and some stronger thread. Kind of disappointing. It didn't even last an hour. The remainder of the targets have held up to the date of this review though. Overall, it seems like decent quality. If you have a hard shot, these likely won't last long.

good enough for the money

I was looking for cheap targets for my net and these work fine. I have a regulation ice hockey net so the bottom targets will not fit around the posts. I was able to attach the top targets to the netting in the top shelf.

Product ripped after five shots on each target

This would be great for kids or practice with a hockey ball, would not use any sort of puck with this product. This product is reasonable priced and not cheap by any means but not puck worthy.

Street hockey stuff

Great product. Thought the hockey goal was part of this item. Don't know if it is just me, but the description of the product should have made it clearer that the goal was not a part of this item. That being said, the corner targets are being enjoyed by a lot of children in the neightborhood.

Still a good value for the money.

I bought the item used. The targets have a different design and there are 2 bottom left targets and no bottom right. Still a good value for the money. It was only 8 dollars and some change.

It's a good idea, but not high quality

Bought this for our 9 year old to practice shooting. He hit the one target, not very hard, and it ripped immediately. He shot on it with a weather appropriate outdoor hockey ball, not sure if that makes a difference. It's okay, but being a target, I'd think it could take a shot.

Don't waste your money - lasted for literally one shot with a weighted orange puck

My son is 9 years old. He has a decent shot for a 9 year old. He hit the top corner target on his second shot and the target ripped at the bottom where the steel bar sits. The other corner target took two hits at least before it broke lol. They might be able to handle orange street hockey balls, at best.

Not as described or shown

It's not as pictured in the images. It's not a bullseye at all... It's black with the lettering NHL on it instead. Quality of material doesn't look or feel high quality... I'll be amazed if these last more than a month or two.
