Easy to use handle straps

good quality, not long enough for easy patient use

These work well to slide a patient in bed, but they are too short, if you buy one you should get two so you can switch them out easier when they move up too far behind the patient.

Purchased several of these. I’m taking care of my mother by myself so I need several with handles. I like these to move her side to side. I’ve purchased longer wider non absorbing positioning so I can pull her up to the head of the bed by myself.

Love these. Handles make caregiving much easier.

I use this with a disposable pad on top, solely to extend its use. Otherwise I’d be changing the pad daily, and I’m trying to cut down on laundry. I have used them by themselves and found them perfectly satisfactory. They absorb properly and are comfortable to lay on (the person using them is on them bare skin, so softness is important). The best thing for me are the handles. We use this pad to turn the person on their side. The person is around 300 lbs yet the pad has held up perfectly! One person on either side of the patient, one pulls the other pushes, using the handles. I honestly don’t know how I’d manage without these handled bed pads. Sure, hospitals will fold a sheet under the patient and use that to turn - grabbing a handful of sheet. The handles are much more comfortable for the caregivers. (Plus I think the ridges of a folded sheet could be uncomfortable for the patient.) I wash and hang up to dry. I’ve learned to wash them by themselves, else they pick up lint. It’s easily removed once dry though.

Lifesaver

I was sent home from the rehabilitation hospital after a stroke to be cared for by my daughter & grand daughter who have no training whatsoever with patient care, after several transfers from bed to wheelchair to toilet & back it was quite painful for me. My grand daughter found this & it was delivered the next day & has been great & feels sturdy. I recommend it for anyone who is questioning if it really works.
