My mother had one of these
I have been searching for this. I made a mistake and put my mother's pan in the dishwasher. Ruined it. So I learned my lesson. She used her pan for her pound cakes. Had no idea it was an angel food cake pan. I am again making my mother's pound cake!

Got as a gift for wife
At Christmas my wife had a disaster in the oven. Her pan leaked mix all over it. I immediately ordered a new one. She used it for a cake at Easter and loves it

Nice, traditional pan
Did a good job as you can see, and that’s my first ever AFC. It’s made of soft, light gauge aluminum so I’m careful with it personally. Easy enough to clean. Little expensive but wanted to give this brand a shot. Will see how it holds up for a year and let you know.

Not bad!
The media could not be loaded. I debated whether to make this extravagant purchase; since my chiffon cake didn’t have great results in a Bundt pan, I went ahead and ordered it. This arrived on time, intact and unscathed. It is made in China and bears the “Nordicware” stamp on the bottom. Inauguration Day is today with a banana chiffon cake. I followed the recipe as written, and per another Reviewer’s experience, made sure to put a baking sheet under to prevent potential mishaps. My batter did not leak/make a mess. I cooled it upside down; wanting to ensure maximum air flow, I used a mug to stabilize the center tube. After it cooked 2 hrs upside down, to prevent scratching, I used a plastic, serrated mini scraper/spatula to loosen the cake. When inverted, it dropped onto my platter. Cleanup was somewhat tedious, only because of my OCD. Didn’t want to waste water by soaking, so I used a scraper to scrape off what I could, then hand washed with dawn, baking soda and my Scrub Mommy scrub pad. Hand dried it right away and inspected for damage. The only damage noted was minor scraping on the top of the tube where it rested in the inverted mug. Perhaps if I just used the little feet, it wouldn’t have been scraped. Overall, I am pleased with this and will keep it. I look forward to making an Angel food cake next!

You don't get what you see
First of all this is not what you are getting. You will be getting a pan that has 3 feets?stand? stuck to the pan. Just that is a real disappointment. I mean seriously who does that? If you're going to send a pan that has feet then put up a photo that has feet! OK so that was my first disappointment (not getting the same item as the listed photo) But I managed to calm myself down and tried to look on the bright side. With "FEET" it would be easier to place it upside down and you wont have to worry about tipping it over. So I baked the cake with this pan with "FEET" and everything looked great coming out of the oven. I turned it over and one of the "FEET" got bent (maybe because of the heat?) making it impossible to stand straight and of course I tried to bend it back and burned myself... After it cooled I put the knife around the pan to release the cake but kept bumping it on the knob? the screw? that holds the "FEET" This is a major design flaw. There are 2 bumps for each "FEET" total of 6 bumps INSIDE of the pan which gets in the way. If you're used to the pan with no bumps then you know how great it feels to slide your knife smoothly around the pan and that exciting feel when you reach the end and you lift it up! The most annoying part of all is the time and effort you have to put to clean this thing. I only had one angel food cake pan prior to this so I can only compare it to that pan but it was sooo easy to clean. Just soak it in water for a while and you use a sponge and it cleans right out. But this pan....it has so many nooks and crannies that you need to use a brush to get it all out and that bump! Yes all 6 of them! The cake sticks around those bumps and gets in them. There's also a groove on the bottom part and the cake gets in there too. Conclusion: If it's your first pan probably be OK with it because you would assume angel cake pans are all like this. But if you had a normal simple 2 piece angelcake pan before then you will miss that pan and will regret you got this one. Don't get me wrong the "FEET" is a great idea, IF the feet were long enough and have plenty of room to get the moisture out but these feet are way too short for this purpose and if there's going to be screws stuck out of the inside of the pan and it bends easily as this one then you would be better off without it. By the way you can't take the feet off because you will end up having holes through the pan if you do. Update: As I wrote in one of the comments I ended up removing the "feet" I have 6 holes and it does leak batter a little bit but is usable. I am surprised they haven't updated the photo but have written "with cooling feet" in the title haha. Update 2015: I see they finally updated their photo! :) Recently I received another pan from a friend because she said she never uses it. OMG!! I can wash my pan with ONLY sponge again! If you look at the photo of the middle part, you can see the groove going around the bottom part. THIS part gets the gunked up cake INSIDE of the cracks and there's another that goes all the way around the bottom part where it folds under. I am not sure why cake goes under there but it does and I had to use a brush every single time to get it all out. Not any more! I have no idea which brand my friend gave me it doesn't say on the pan and she didn't have a clue, but I can wash it with only the sponge again! If you use it only once or twice a year I am sure it is fine but if you bake a chiffon as frequently as I do trust me you will want one WITHOUT knobs poking inside of the pan and WITHOUT grooves that gets cake stuck into them. I threw out my pan with 6 holes and the nasty grooves in a heartbeat. I HIGHLY recommend to shop around and look closely at the photos or better yet go to the store and check it out yourself and purchase the perfect angel food pan. Because once you buy one it will pretty much hold up for years and years. It is worth the effort and/or the extra $ ! I am extremely satisfied now and my journey of looking for AND the hassle of washing this pan is finally over :)

Angel Food Cake Pan
This is the ideal pan for making Angel Food Cake. Being aluminuim it heats evenly and cooks perfectly and has three legs so you can invert the pan for cooling the cake. The centre piece is removalble so cleaning is really easy. Would recomend

Strong and big enough for boxed angel food cake mixes.
Only used this pan once so far and it helped produce a beautiful fluffy cake. The pan feels thick enough, I feel with proper care it should last a life time. I didn't have enough eggs when it arrived, but I did have my trusty Betty Crocker's Angel food cake mix tucked away for emergencies. Yes, there are such things as Angel Food cake emergencies...ever have a craving? *grins* For years I've made my angel food cakes in two 9x5 loaf pans, yes that worked, but it so much nicer to have one cake to frost, and makes for a more attractive presentation. I did not follow manufactures directions to season the pan with oil prior to using. I simply washed in hot sudsy water and rinsed. Oil would hinder the cakes rising, you never oil an angel food cake container if you want good rise.
