Leftover batter each time
I love the look and quality of these bundt pans (I've bought 3 different designs), and have only two problems with them. 1. They are slightly smaller than the traditional bundt pan. They hold about 1-2 cups less than what most pound cake recipes yield. As a result, I end up making 4 additional muffin-size cakes or two bundlets every time I bake a pound cake. It is better to only fill these pans 2/3-3/4 full, otherwise you will need to slice off the risen mound of excess cake before flipping to prevent the cake's bottom edges from cracking. (See photo.) 2. In addition to the pan's smaller capacity, the only other flaw I found with this brand is that there are no handles on the side of the pan. Without any way to grip the pan, it is more difficult to flip it and securely lift it off the serving plate. That's a bit of a hassle, especially when you're dealing with a warm, slippery, conical-shaped baking dish, but I suppose that the beautiful design makes up for this issue. I have used my golden Nordic bundt pans about six or seven times thus far and find that cakes slide out very easily when I use a pastry brush to apply softened butter into every nook and cranny of these intricately designed bundt pans. I follow up with a light dusting of flour and have never had a problem with the baked cake slipping out of the pan easily and in one piece after a brief cooling period. This is a good purchase if you want a beautiful cake and don't mind having a little leftover batter and a slightly problematic lift-off.

Beautiful pan and cake!
I love this pan. I gave it to my sister as a gift for Thanksgiving. We live in different states. When I arrived, I baked a cake in it and it turned out beautiful. She thought I was taking it back home and didn't realize it was a gift even though I shipped it directly to her. After seeing and eating the beautiful cake, she says I can come anytime to bake another!

Impressive
Makes an impressive-looking bundt cake. Spraying with Baker's Joy before adding batter releases the cake with zero problems.

Beautiful!
This Bundt pan is beautiful and indestructible. Pricey, but well made. An heirloom piece that will stay in your family forever. Releasing the cake is a real nail biter. Watch the NordicWare video on YouTube for tips. Also, I place a warm towel on the top of the pan, after I have inverted the cake onto a plate, and that helps the release.

Great Durability
I absolutely LOVE my new Bundt Pan!! I took pics I made a Scratch Caramel Cake and it was Gorgeous! Nl Now I did use 7 cups of batter and I had to cook the cake a little longer because it is very dense in the middle... So in all I think I baked the cake maybe 1 hour and 25 to 1 hour and 30 minutes... Cleaning... The cleaning was easy I let it soak with hot soapy water, and then I cleaned it with a dish towel and in the skinny creases I took a pointed knife with my thick dish towel at the end of it and went through the creases and had no issues! Releasing... I use the Pam non-stick spray with flour incorporated into it the baking spray and I have never had an issue with anything sticking, and this as you see came out perfect! My cake was moist and it was a HIT!!!

Amazing quality
These elaborate pans are difficult to grease and prepare but the impact when you put the cake on the table is more than worth it. The definition and beauty of the designs really gets people's attention. Considering this is a cake you can mix up in 10 minutes and bake in an hour, the fact that greeting it up takes about 5 minutes doesn't count for much.

Fit For A Queen!
When I placed my family FAV at the center of the dessert table, no one wanted to be the 1st to dive right in and ruin such an elegant presentation. My sour cream pound cake is special yet this pan has taken me cake to a whole different level! I crowned the table as if royalty was coming over for dessert. Now that's a story my children and grandchildren will remember for ever. Get one, you'll see.

Expensive. Unmoulds easily. Could do with handles. Great-looking cake.
Very expensive but it's a well-made cake tin, inside and out. There are no overly angular nooks and crannies so it's easy to grease the tin. Unmoulds easily. Don't lose the intricate pattern by over-decorating it (I speak from experience with another Nordic Ware bundt tin). You get a splendid-looking cake for minimal effort and time compared to, say, making an iced sandwich cake (at the least you save doing the crumb coat and waiting an hour for it to set before decorating). You also get the lovely feature crispy outside to the sponge which Nordic Ware mentioned as a specific feature of Nordic Ware in a demo video I once saw. The pattern of this bundt tin means that it doesn't matter if you don't put enough batter in, by accident or design, to obtain the full pattern at the base (the open end) of the tin, like I did on my first go. The most striking part of the pattern is the top (the ridges) and you'll always get that. The bundt tin has the capacity size integrally moulded (?hot-forged) into it, as a handy reference. The 10-cup capacity is a good size between Nordic Ware's 6 cup and 12-15 cup bundts. It's well-made but treat it as fairly fragile to avoid denting it or damaging the finish. Handwash only to avoid damaging with non-stick with abrasive chemicals such as dishwasher powder. Because the cake unmoulds so cleanly, washing up is a cinch. Air-dries with no probs. The cardboard wrapper comes with care instructions and a recipe. I wish the tin had handles to make it easier to manoeuvre when hot. The tin is large, and with contents it's also rather heavy. Handles (the sort you put your fingers through) would mean I could also display this decorative tin on my kitchen wall, seems a shame to put it in a cupboard. This worked: PME Release A Cake (Amazon ref. ASIN B00XNASF2E) sprayed and applied very liberally with a pastry brush. Filled tin to half-way with batter (lemon and blueberry) but could've done to three-quarters to achieve the full bundt pattern, fan oven 160 degrees (but preheated to 180 degrees) for 50 minutes, removed from oven, left cake in tin for 10 minutes, unmoulded, let cake cool before decorating (1.5 hours). There are detailed tips and knacks at the Nordic Ware website.

Makes a nice lookin’ cake.
Got this for my mom for Christmas. I don’t bake, so I have no idea about these things, but she said that the thickness of it kind of interferes with the baking process? I just bought it for the boogie gold and pretty design, haha. Not happy with how much more they cost on Amazon than in stores (hence the 4 stars), but what’re you gonna do when you don’t want to shop in person?!

I absolutely love it!
I bought this as a treat to myself and it did not disappoint! It even arrived a few days earlier than expected. The cake came out perfect. I oiled the tin with kitchen paper soaked in vegetable oil and used the Nigella Lawson “Spruced up vanilla cake” Bundt recipe. I even found a facebook group for Nordic Ware tin users ????

A little expensive, but excellent quality
Loved using this pan, I was worried the cake would stick in all of the deep crevasses but it released the cake without a problem, and the design was beautiful. I did find the cake needed extra time, but it was my first time using that recipe so I can't confirm whether it was a recipe misprint or due to the thickness of the pan. It is quite a heavy gage pan and might provide a bit more insulation than most, meaning cook times might need to be adjusted.
