Good but some defects
These strips are usually great for using on my feet to prevent plantar fasciitis from flaring up when I do any type of cardio exercises. However, about a third of the last two packs I ordered were defective as they had no “sticking tape” capability. For the price of only seven strips per pack this is very disappointing. My suggestion is to do some random testing on your product to be sure it actually works as it’s supposed to.

Actually got relief
This tape gave me relief from heel pain so I could enjoy a long planned vacation that involved a lot of walking. The tape and stretches have really helped.

Miraculous!
For me, this tape was nothing short of miraculous. I had suffered from intense heel pain for 8 months from plantar fasciitis. I did everything- stretches, massage, ice, night brace, orthotics, etc. Then I saw this tape and decided to try it. I put it on exactly as the instructions said, and took my first pain-free steps in months! I don’t really know how it works- “provides support and improves blood flow”- but I don’t actually care- it really works! I wore it 24/7 for 7 days, replacing it every morning, and putting it on with my toes pointed slightly downwards for more intensity. Now I’m pain free. I’m going to keep it onhand at all times in case my heel starts to hurt again, or if I go hiking or know I’ll be walking more than normal. Do yourself a favor and try it! Later edit- while this amazing tape relieves pain, it does not cure plantar fasciitis. in order to cure it, we still have to do all the things that the doctors tell us - the appropriate stretches, rolling the foot on a massage ball, ice, night sock or night splint. The problem is, when you are wearing the tape, you can’t do those things. So here is what I did: I applied the tape first thing in the morning after my shower. I wore it all day long every day while working, because I had to walk a lot. In the evening, I removed the tape, did all the massage techniques, rolling the foot on the ball, icing, etc. that I was instructed to do. At night I wore the plantar fasciitis night sock. Upon awakening in the morning, before getting out of bed, I massaged the facia, did the stretches, then put on slippers before taking the first step, so I was not in pain. I figure that pain means irritating the foot, so the less I did to make my foot hurt, the less inflamed I would be. I’ve been wearing this tape in the winter time with socks, so I don’t know yet how well it will do in the summer with sandals. Some people expressed concerns about the edges curling, and so far the only edge that has curled for me has been the very front edge behind the toes. With sandals I might just put a Band-Aid on that area to reinforce it. anyway, this tape makes all the difference for me!

Allergic Reaction But Works
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I had a pretty severe allergic reaction to the adhesive, however I do think the potential for this to work is there. I used it for a festival and my feet just sweat a lot, so the bottom came off. The one wrapped around my foot stayed on well though. If I wasn’t obviously allergic to it, I would give it another go.

THE answer to recurrent heel pain, when all the other "answers" failed.
I have tried everything in the last 12 years to banish my heel pain, which at times limits my walking to a block and flares out of control, and severely has limited my life. I have see 3 different physical therapists over the years, and a few podiatrists and foot orthopedists. THe norm is to start with specific stretching and strengthening exercises, follow their guidance of coure But I already do those just to maintain my functioning. Recently with some wait gain despite all that my heels were getting worse and worse. I've used other types of stretchy sports tape (beginning with letter K). This isn't stretchy. I didn't think this would work but it's likely the only thing I"ve not tried...I"m talking I've done MONTHS of research. This healed my acute exacerbation of my chronic problem WHy is the price worth it for only 7 applications? Because if you have heel pain as disabling as mine is, the price is trivial (though I'm blessed to be able to afford it). Note I needed to use this for a month to blow away my acute problem. IT says on the material it comes with that you should have tape 12 hrs on and 12 off, but elsewehre it says leave it on 24 hrs. I wear night splints so at night I gave my skin an occasional rest from this tape. It's VERY sticky so you have to watch your skin to make sure you don't cause an abrasion. Try this ...but long term, fellow sufferers, follow the conventional guidelines too One thing I did I have always stretched the heck out of my calf muscles like you are supposed to for plantar fascitis/heel pain. I think I was stretching too much and that caused an acute spike. THis rested it an healed it IT says on it it's mean to rest and heal it. I am telly you this is a UNIQUE product as far as I know the tape doesn't stretch read directions well before you use it and good luck

Unrelieved pain
I’m sorry to say that I’ve had no real relief from pain with this product. Additionally, it doesn’t stick well to my foot.

Cured after 7 years!
Seven years of plantar fasciitis in both feet finally cured. I had tried almost everything (orthotics, surgery, shots, rest, etc). I had more relief with one application of this tape then I did from a cortisone shot in my heel. A few things... I had to get some Cover-Roll Stretch (also available on Amazon) to place at the heel and over the top of the foot. The adhesive on this PF tape is VERY strong and literally ripped my skin off. The Cover-roll protected my skin and really helped. I also used the PF tape for about 9 weeks to make very, very sure that I was cured. Finally, I also did about 3 weeks of physiotherapy sessions to strengthen my glut muscles and IT band to help prevent it from coming back. In the end, the PF Tape cures the symptom, but the core, glut, and IT band exercises deal with the root cause of the plantar fasciitis. Also, tried different tensions with the angle of your foot. The packaging suggest your foot be at 90 degrees with the leg. I tilted my foot so my toes were down and so I was about 10 degrees more (100 degree angle down) from the leg. More was too much, and less not enough. You'll have to try a few applications to see what works for you.

Amazing product!!!!!
These foot tapes are a miracle. I have suffered from plantar faciitis off and on for several years. My only help previous has been rest (not always practical or an option) and Advil. I found these tapes and tried them on a whim. I was amazed that they worked from the first application! I did two weeks of applications and my pain level of 8-9 on a daily basis decreased to a 1-2. Truly amazing and a lifesaver. I have ordered more in the hopes that a second round of applications will help with a more finite and lasting fix to the pain. My only caution is that after the two weeks I had some skin abrasions where the tape crossed the top of my foot. It has taken a couple weeks tape-free with the application of some polysporin to heal it up. However, small price to pay for being able to walk properly and without pain or limping.
