easy to see in the woods
My property extends for another 50 or 60 feet past a fence line. One side of the fence is nice green pasture but other side is woods. I tied ribbon around trees on the property line so I can stand at fence and know how much further the property line is.

As advertised, good price
This tape was used to designate boundaries for my son's Nerf battle birthday party and worked great for that purpose. Tape left over will be used for flagging defective street lights in our neighborhood for the power company. I would definitely order this again if I ever needed more flagging tape.

> DOES THE JOB
DESCRIPTION > Basic flagging tape about 1 1/8" wide by 150' long. > Bright, translucent, flexible, water-proof, plastic ribbon. Non-adhesive. > Stretchy and tough, but breaks fairly easily into the desired lengths. > Weather resistant, will probably stay in place, without significant fading outdoors for years (but I haven't tested this specific color and brand). > Slightly textured, which helps it stay tied, when tied. But it is also easily removable. USES > The traditional use is for marking things, such as tagging trees to be cut down (or not), or limbs to be trimmed, etc. > > Usually things "to do" are marked in red, orange, or yellow. Things to "leave alone" are marked blue or green. > You can use it to mark anything you can tie it to. > > These could be items on sale. > > These could be items to be moved (or not moved). > You can blaze hiking trails. > You can use it for party decorations. > You can use it with costumes, e.g., to make "grass" skirts, or to identify teams (e.g. with headbands or armbands) > You can use it for off-beat ribbons for gifts, etc. > You can hold one end and throw it off a the top of a building for long bright streamers. > You can use it as a "barrier" tape (like police tape), such as to divide a "parking area" from a "non-parking area". > With stakes, etc. you can use it to mark off areas for various purposes, e.g. to outline the proposed location of a house, the location of underground pipes or a septic tank.400 BRAND NEW 6" SOD OR LANDSCAPE FABRIC STAPLES > With stakes, etc. you can use it to mark the location of rows of vegetable plants (before they sprout), so you'll know where to water and where not to walk > You can use it to tie-up delicate plants, such as young vegetable plants to stakes---there is actually a dark green version for this purpose. > You can use it for safer bondage games, since the tied-up person can break loose if necessary. > Ordinary adhesive tape sticks well to flagging tape, so you can use adhesive tape to attach flagging tape to things. NOT SUITABLE FOR > Flagging tape is stretchy and intentionally not strong (so that you can tear off pieces as you need it)---so it isn't good as string or rope for tying most things together. > There is no adhesive backing, so you can't use it to "tape" things together. > Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.

This is not adhesive tape therefore it is not supposed to adhere..

Good trail tape.
Wanted vinyl trail tape. Other orange tapes out there were often more like ribbon, got brittle and broke after year or two. This seems more flexible - although it hasn’t been out there over a winter yet. Will revisit this review if and when. Would have given it more stars if it hadn’t taken FOREVER to get it. And then saw that it wasn’t available after that. GREAT price!!! Can’t figure how they made any $$, which might account for the long wait, hoping I’d cancel order. So, if it’s available and price still seems attractive, and you have time, GO FOR IT!

Very good visibility from a distance
I don’t know why Amazon asks about ‘adhesion’ this is not sticky tape, it’s marking tape. We have big dogs and a good sized property, we also get bad storms that take out sections of fence. My wife uses this to wrap around the top of some sections so she can quickly tell if the fence comes down, especially near a section where there is a stream. It helps make sure the dogs don’t have an escape route.

Buyer beware! Cannot order more than 5 rolls...ever!
We ordered 4 rolls, but found they weren't long enough for our purposes, so I tried to order 6 more, and there is a lifetime limit of a total of 5 rolls regardless if they are on separate orders or not! Nowhere does it say there is a lifetime limit of 5 rolls. Furthermore, the specs don't list the length of the rolls so it is a hit-and-miss guess that you will be able to do what you want with a maximum of 5 rolls ever, with no recourse to buy more. Never heard of such a restriction for any common products. It's not as if the tape is rare or special in any way. In fact, it is fairly thin and narrow, and we are worried it will break in the wind during the winter. Not recommended! There are many vendors of flagging tape on Amazon. I would recommend looking elsewhere, which is what I would have done if I knew about this silly 5 roll lifetime restriction limit!

Very colourful, but not sticky
Some roadwork in front of our house, People were driving over the grass in stormy weather chewing up lots of mud, so the tape helped keep them on the road instead ...
