Rotisserie Kit works but. . .

As soon as I received the rotisserie kit I attempted to use it; The instructions are a little light on explaining the way it should be assembled. I kept having to re-aligh the shaft over a hot grill. While I got it done I ruined 2 heat pads trying to keep0 the post in the slot of the motor.

Great grill. My only complaint is that it tends to run very hot when closed, even on lowest settings. I have to have one burner off to get below 400 when closed. I do love this grill though and even bought the rotisserie attachment.

Napolean Rotisserie

Great rotisserie! Cooked two chicken on it right out of the box, and it worked flawlessly. Very happy with it. I have also done shush kabobs using my Napolean Shish Kabob setup and it was perfect. I highly recommend it!

Great addition to grill!

Only used it once but the rotisserie worked great with the shish-kabob attachment. Designed to cook perfectly with the rotisserie burner at back of grill. Veggies were al-dente and steak was a perfect medium to medium rare.

Works great and the wife loves it!

Works great but they should have put in some instructions for installation, I had to go to the internet and get instructions for another brand to get them installed.

A good product with a tiny flaw

It is a good product. However, there is an installation problem. the Dumb Screw holding the collar in the right side sticks out too long and jams on the BBQ housing sothe rotisserie can not turn completely. I fond a nut to fit the screw which allowed my to cut the screw shorter with a hacksaw. (Hacksaw wrecks the thread but the nut when removed, will clean it up). BBQ is Lex. For a Napoleon product, I expected better engineering.

Thumbscrew for bushing too long.

Nice looking rotisserie. However, there is a round metal bushing with a thumbscrew that allows it to be secured to the square spit. The bushing allows the spit to turn inside the BBQ and also keeps the spit from accidentally dislodging from the motor. PROBLEM!! The thumbscrew is to long and catches on the from of the BBQ preventing the spit from turning. Solved the problem by making the thumbscrew shorter by grinding it down with angle grinder. Would've given it a 5-star but could only give it a three as poor attention to detail for providing improperly dimensioned screw.

Works great easy to clean

Works well, did a 5 lbs leg of lamb no issues, the only issue is the collar that goes on opposite side of bbq from motor will walk out if lid is not closed to hold it in place, possibly some cooking oil needs to be added to allow the collar to spin freely and not bind and walk out

The media could not be loaded. J'ai acheté cet article en cadeau pour la fête des pères. Mon conjoint l'aime beaucoup!!! En achetant aussi le panier Napoléon pour les légumes, crevettes, ailes de poulet, frites etc ça permet de cuire toute sorte de chose sur le bbq!! Je recommande!

This is a heavy-duty, quality piece!

This fit my LEX485 grill perfectly. The motor is dead quiet and the spit and forks are good stainless.
