Best nipple cream

It doesn’t stain your clothes (like the one with lanolin) , and it helps a ton Best brand I have tried !

Good for Soothing and Prevention

Unlike many nursing creams, this is a clear formula so it won't stain or smear either your's or baby's clothing. It is all-natural and so you don't even need to wipe it off before nursing. It soothes pain and prevents cracking. The very faint smell it has is primarily of coconut, but not overpowering in the least...just soothing and relaxing. The only aspect of it that I wasn't a big fan of is the fact that when coconut oil solidifies, it gets a little grainy. It didn't hurt to put on, but it wasn't smooth like vaseline (not that you would use that for nursing!). It warms immediately as it touches your skin, and the little coconut granules absorb and smooth onto your skin. I recommend this if you are looking for a nursing cream beyond simply coconut oil.

great in theory

I purchased this really excited to not have to use sticky and messy lanolin. I brought to the hospital to use after my child's birth. I tried it before I placed it on my nipple. It had a weird taste but wasn't super bad so I went ahead and put some on my nipple. I tried to nurse my daughter after and she literally started to gag when she tasted it and refused to nurse until I cleaned this product completely off my nipple. Great in theory but I think they need to work on the taste. Infants are smarter than you think.

Provides actual pain relief

My first child was a biter, there were blisters and a bit of blood on my nipples. I invested and tried a wide variety of nipple creams to ease the pain, itching, dryness and burning sensation. I even though that I have an infection, however the Doctor ensured me that I am just very badly bitten. My Brest Friend was the only ointment that provided some actual relief, the best of everything I tried so far. Highly recommended.

This product is wonderful! Relieves chapped/cracked skin. Yes, it balls up, but that is due to the coconut oil. A little body heat will remedy that such as putting the tube under your arm or between your thighs for a few minutes while you're nursing. Definitely went on smoother and smoothed out the cream when I did. That you don't need to wipe it off is a bonus too! I've also used it on my baby's chin and face for eczema and chapping from salivating from teething.

Possibly Defective Tube

Tested it but did not like it. Looked like vaseline, not cream. Kept nipple soft, wasn't crazy oily or messy to use- but the substance smelled absolutely horrible. Thinking I just got a defective bottle since others seem to like it on here but I won't purchase again.

Great stuff

Easier to put on than lanolin, but I use both this and lanolin (I have one tube of something in every bathroom). I had to cut the bottom of the tube off just to use it, though--for some reason I could not squeeze it out through the tip. Great moisturizer, and feels very soothing to put on. Tip: do not put this on right before using a nipple shield, however--the shield will slip and slide out of place the whole time!

Put this on your must have list for breatsfeeding!

The best nipple cream! It heals cracked bleeding nipple quickly and actually helps with the pain. It's great to put on before a shower to ensure the water doesn't bother sore nipples. I highly recommend this the only tip is to massage it in between your fingers for a few seconds as it is a "gritty" cream and needs to melt.
