Fun but slightly disappointing
I really like the idea of these stackable planters. Initially I was very offput by how small they are. It's exactly as stated in the description but seeing it in person was a bit of a let down. Modifying my initial thought of how I wanted to use them, they'll work fine for herbs and small flowers. They interlock quite well and are not flimsy. Structurely my only complaint is the lack of support at the core. The card insert that came with the product says you can add a pvc pipe for additional support, but doesn't give you the diameter you would need. It's a bit aggravating to pay so much for something, then need to buy additional parts for it, yet not know exactly what you need to get. Overall I think it's a good product and the inconvenience of not knowing what size pvc pipe to get is the biggest contributing factor for losing a star.

Sturdy Easy to Assemble Broccoli Tower
I stacked 2 sets of the smaller Mr Stacky together, which are easy to assemble. I added a small irrigation pump, food grade irrigation tubing, a pvc pipe in the center for sturdiness and planted broccoli I grew from seeds under grow lights in stages so my harvest continues. I used 4 foot led lights 6500 k and a trellis to secure them on. I used a 5 gallon bucket for the reservoir. I planted a baby bush watermelon and Minnesota midget cantaloupe on the bottom. The trellis is support for the melons. I planted several Marigolds because they deter insects. Despite being in a basement laundry room aphids can find their way into a home. I used coco coir, Vigaro earthworm casts and perlite which keep the unit light weight. I irrigate 3 times a day for 5 minutes per timer. Lights are 12 hours on timer. I use Mr Stacky all purpose fertilizer and calcium supplement. I use 2 teaspoons per gallon as recommended on their label. Economical way to grow broccoli year round!

Space saver!
I have a small space for gardening, so i purchased this to be able to plant several different herbs. While that part is perfect for space, it dosent quite work as advertised for drainage. Supposedly you only water the top level, and it drips down to the lower levels automatically... this ONLY works if you completely drown the top level. I still give it 5 stars, because i have almost 20 different herbs sprouting. I just have to water each little space individually.

Small but cute
Smaller than expected. Just looked larger in the photos but does match dimensions in description. Still misleading though. It's cute overall and I'll probably order more to make it the height I want. Works well. Sturdy and the pieces lock together well

5 tier planter
I hope that strawberry will thrive in the tiers, it's my first time doing it so. I am restricted from ground due to termites treatment and 3 year ban or more, stupid decision. I got another one too. The saucer was missing one clamp, it was loose in the box.

Works great!!
This product works really good. The only downside is the top stays dry but the bottom stays wet. My strawberries are really happy with this product!!

Great design to save space.
*****Great planters: you can plant different plants at each end and it has their room to grow without a hugh pot ***Price: around $8 each layer seems a bit high but it’s stackable so it saves a lot of space ***Use: it has too many holes at the bottom, I keeps leaking soil. I have cut out some think sponge/ foams at the bottom to cover the whole bottom. And you have to rotate the plants as only 1 side of the plants can have sunlight. But I think it’s great in general, I use this to plant herbs and it’s perfect size

Great for growning in small places
This Mr. Stacky is fine for growing strawberry plants and small herbs. It will tip over easy if lighty hit or on windy days. I tied my to my balcony railing to keep it in place from strong winds. I also attached a plant caddie to the bottom saucer so I could turn my starwberry plants around so to get even sunshine. Another thing that I did was put a 3cm (1") wide bar down the middle of all five layers to keep all five layers together better. This 5-tier planter holds about 4.5 kgs (10Ibs) of soil. For some reason the tan colour planters were cheaper then the green colour planters.

A bit misleading in the description: Includes: (5) ...
A bit misleading in the description: Includes: (5) Terracotta Planters & Bottom Saucer Not so much, these are terracotta COLOURED, but made out of plastic. Also, find them a bit fimsy when stacked and filled, you need to find a very flat space for them, otherwise they just tip over.

It's just too small. I'm having a hard time ...
It's just too small. I'm having a hard time keeping it moist enough during the height of day. I water all the stacks thoroughly in the morning and the top layer is bone dry by the time I get home from work. My strawberries didn't grow very big and I'm thinking it was because they just couldn't get the moisture they needed. If it was just a bit bigger then I think it would be okay and be able to retain the moisture needed. Not all herbs are doing well in it. Barely any growth since I put them in. I just don't think stuff has the room it needs to grow. Except for my mint, but everyone knows that stuff can grow anywhere.

Very sturdy!
I got this item and I was very surprised that it came in a small box. I thought that it was bigger due to the picture. Anyhow, it is made of very study plastic that you stack the sections together. It comes with a drainage tray so you can use this indoors if you want. The colour is nice too. The price is too much I think for something that is made from plastic.
