Fun way to garden year round
I wanted to have fresh herbs and veggies for my salad and sides. Mr Stacky with a simple pump, pvc pipe and irrigation set up and their 16 gallon reservoir I had an excellent garden. It is easy to assemble and sturdy. I planted seeds in trays under grow lights and transplanted them. I planted Tiny Tim tomatoes, California Wonder bell peppers on top. I planted patio eggplants and space saver cucumbers next. I planted on the bottom a round zucchini and a yellow summer squash. The 10 spots left I planted cilantro, parsley, basil, dill, mint, oregano, rosemary, thyme. I made a pvc trellis and secured grow lights led 3 feet 5000 k with zip ties. I used Mr Stacky all purpose fertilizer and their calcium supplement. I raise my garden in my laundry room in the basement. The temperature is stable between 68 to 72 degrees F. Year round. I used coco coir and earthworm castings and perlite like Mr Stacky recommends.

Well made with pre drilled holes
Great product. Love the color and durability. Predrilled holes to save you time. Bottom drainage saucer is nice. The little plastic connectors that rotate and click into place will most likely break fairly quick but otherwise great product.

Great little plant Tower
Fantastic little plant Tower. I am using it to grow spinach and lettuce. Doing fantastic. There is a slight tipping hazard. Be cautious when moving around it.

Receiving Costumer support takes time
The product is small and the plastic its not heavy duty, when place on the light you can see som parts that are thinner than the other. Bad quality control. Im sure it will not last long if used under full sunlight. One of the tiers came damage , I have tried to contact the company 3 times and I have not received any answer. Be aware of this if your thinking on buying this product. Update: Few days later of this review customer service reply my messages and make it right. They agree to send a replacement for the damage item.

Smaller than expected
Should have looked at the measurements more closely. A little small, the strawberry plants don’t have a lot of space. Without the center tube, we can’t water all of the pockets at the same time. Personally, I do not mind but it is something to consider. I would have preferred to invest in a unit slightly bigger, with only 3 pockets on each level. Also, the saucer is small and does not provide much stability. I weighed it down with rocks otherwise the wind would just knock it over and then I’d have a big mess on my hands and damaged plants. This unit is not very well thought of and glad I didn’t spend an extra 25$ on the terra cotta one. Even full, it is easy to move though.

Not for strawberries, young children or puppies lol.
I was intending to grow strawberries in it but the strawberries grew very fast so had to replant in something bigger. It looks great but depending where you put it you have to rotate it for all the plants to get sun. Would be great for herbs or small flowers not veg, growing area not big enough. If you have the bottom catch tray on which helps to stabilise it all the water catches in the bottom and just sits. No good for people with toddlers or puppies. Still i like the concept for patios.

Update: Waste of money
I bought two, one for full sun plants and one for part shade. In the full sun I planted strawberries and Mediterranean herbs and in the other, shade herbs, garlic and lettuce. Because the openings are very small I did my research and on advise bought Mignonette variety strawberries as they are very small and supposed to do well in a small containers. The strawberries are tiny and candy sweet but not very flavourful. I have had good results with planting in the past but not in these containers. I was very careful with the soil/light/watering but the yields from all of my plants was disappointing. The planters are US made, very sturdy when stacked and fit perfectly on the IKEA SOCKER plant stand on wheels, which makes it easy to move around and rotate so all of the plants have good access to the sun. Even on the stand they seem very secure against the elements but they could tumble if pushed from the top, either while moving or by a child. There are holes through the centre of each pot if you wished to secure them on a post. You may have luck with them but I had to change my rating because at this point they just take up room at the back of my shed.

Not for strawberries
The pots are WAY too small to grow strawberries in them. The picture shows they planted 4 strawberry plants in them - not gonna happen. You'd be lucky if you could fit one strawberry plant in. I wasn't .Also, every plant has certain requirements. And strawberries need much more space for their root system than this planter provides. Even if you plant strawberry seedlings and they grow up, the yield would be terrible and the berries would be sour, cause the plant is suffocating. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Unless you grow strawberries for decorative purposes.
