Really standing up to the Texas sun

Bought two of these last July for our deck and within a couple of days we had a dozen hummers flocking to them, mainly in the mornings and late afternoon. The flower colors are staying bright and no rust. Easy to clean and refill. The hummingbirds are back this spring now and there are just not enough "bar stools" for all of them, so we need another feeder. We do get "bully birds" that will sit on top of a feeder and chase off others, so multiple feeders spread about still let others feed. We had some of the pretty plastic feeders and they faded quickly in the Texas sun and were a bear to clean. History.

Our Hummingbirds Love it!

Tired of trying to clean my plastic hummingbird feeders, I was looking for a glass feeder with a wide mouth to make cleaning easy. First of all, I love the way that this feeder looks - the vibrant red color, the perches for the birds to light upon while feeding. I like that it is easy to clean and refill. The only thing I don't particularly like is that the hanger part doesn't fit flush against the top rim, so you have to play around with it to get it to hang straight. Also, make sure that when you wash and refill it, that you wipe down the threads where the base screws on and that you don't over tighten it - I screwed it on too tightly one time and it was quite difficult to get it apart again. Now I make sure to wipe it down well and don't tighten it too much. Such a pretty feeder - I love it and so do our hummingbirds. They stay much longer at this feeder than they did at the old one.

Easy to clean. The hanger is also a perch. I have 3 older style feeders but this is their favorite.

Excellent quality.

I was shopping for a hummingbird feeder that was glass with a plastic pearch and this item was exactly what I wanted. After receiving it and using it for a couple of months I can say that it is an excellent quality product. I doubt anyone would be disappointed after purchasing.

Metal top and flowers on feeder portion

I had a hard time figuring out if this had a metal feeder portion or plastic by reading the description and ordered based on the photo which looked plastic. I live in a coastal area and a metal feeder will rust. So that is a con for me. The top, where the flowers are, is a powdercoated metal. The bottom of it is plastic. Why isn't it all plastic? The jar is glass. Disappointing metal ring hanger that comes off when you open the feeder to clean or refill as it slips down the glass portion. Seems it could have easily been made to stay on the top of the jar. Otherwise, the glass if very heavy but not red glass. I put it in the dishwasher and all the red came off. The bottom two pieces come apart for easy cleaning. We will see how the small holes work for the birds. The flowers are metal. Wide opening for easy cleaning of the glass jar. The birds liked it after a couple of days. We had some cold nights so I put out my old plastic feeder because I didn't want them to stick to the metal. Now they won't use the plastic version.

DO NOT BUY. I'm concerned about the RUST

I bought three of these since June, one to use as a gift that's still in the box. Apparently too late to return. A friend had & liked this feeder, but perhaps hers is not rusting from the hummer nectar. I thought the metal might be more durable, it never occurred to me that it would not be rust-proof. I'm discontinuing use as I fear it might harm the hummingbirds. Sad. Very cute item. I will not by this, or any other feeder with metal parts from this brand again. ***UPDATE 9/20/22: As I pondered how the rust started not long after the return window closed, I decided to protest an apparently shoddy, defective product....and try to get a full refund anyway. After all, why reward the manufacturer $70+ for unusable products? Amazon's automated customer 'service' site may be designed to get us to accept defeat when we're past the return date (LOL), but if you persist and keep responding you have another concern, eventually you get to a human being who is even helpful. This situation included being referred to a 'team' involving 5 humans before I was done....even though I had to prompt them to thoroughly read my concerns. Which were: "Unfortunately purchased 3 of these feeders....[details as above]. And since this problem started right AFTER your 30-day return window, this whole thing is starting to look like a scam....charge $20-$25 for an attractive appearing feeder that is essentially and irrevocably FLAWED and UNUSABLE due to a manufacturing defect. Planned obsolescence- a problem that begins essentially right after the easy opportunity to return the product closes. SO. I will be continuing to spread my opinion of your product everywhere I can until it outweighs all the good reviews on Amazon that led me to choose the product. This is a FAIL both for the birds and for your company, unless you do something to remedy the situation. Please don't quote your return policy again. I'm asking for an exception. If I CANNOT get a refund, I DEFINITELY want Amazon to consider not selling these." About 40 minutes later, I have a screenshot of the chat that I will be getting a full refund, including of my Amazon Visa points. Yedu did say my postpaid UPS return label may take 24 hours to show up in my email. Trust me, if it does not, I'll be sharing about it here. And on social media. So when a product is shoddy, we CAN get Amazon to hear us. IF we have time. For me, this became a 'cause' because I'm concerned what the rust may have done to my hummers before I noticed the rust.

The perfect hummingbird feeder!

The media could not be loaded. I did my research before buying a hummingbird feeder and I’m glad I did! This hummingbird feeder did not let me down!! As a first time hummingbird feeder purchaser, I was so thrilled to see my first hummingbird tonight! I am now getting frequent visits and am so happy with the quality this feeder has! It is super easy to clean, everything comes apart and screws back together with ease! It is beautiful to look at especially when the sun hits the aqua tinted glass jar. You will not regret this purchase! Just make sure you can look out a window to really enjoy your hummingbird feeder!

Se oxida

Es muy bonito, pero la parte de metal comenzó a oxidarse desde el primer uso. El fabricante menciona que el metal está tratado para evitar estas cosas, pero no es acero inoxidable

Easy to clean

This is the best hummingbird feeder I have ever had. It looks pretty but more importantly it is extremely easy to clean. The wide mouth on the jar allows you to easily get a bottle brush inside. The base comes apart and is also very easy to clean. I highly recommend this feeder.

Easy to clean, seems to be good quality.

I purchase this mainly because it is easier to clean. Larger opening in bottle plus when you unscrew the bottle the bottom separates into two pieces for easy cleaning. Very important to hummingbird health is a clean feeder. So far I haven't seen any at the new feeders, just my old ones and it's been two weeks. It may be that the flowers are not as bright as they could be. Tomorrow I will remove the old one and see what happens.

Excelente bebedero

El diseño es muy bonito, pero lo que me gustó más fue su material de vidrio, hace que el nectar se conserve mejor y dure más tiempo, además es más fácil de limpiar gracias a que la boquilla es más ancha. El único detalle que le veo es el material de las flores, es de acero y se empiezan a oxidar con el tiempo, pero lo puedes prevenir si lo limpias seguido con un cepillo. En general ¡Execelente producto!
