Good bird feeder

I had a similar bird feeder that I liked so I bought two of these. I like them too! I think they are great bird feeders for the money. I wouldn't say squirrel proof but I would say, the squirrels have to work much harder to shake them enough to get some seed to fall on the ground. My only suggestion is that they have better quality control before they ship. You can see that one of the 2 feeders I ordered is cracked. I don’t think it interferes with its function so I am not going to return it, but the company should probably check them better before shipping.

Good bird feeder but certainly not squirrel proof

This is a well constructed bird feeder and has done a great job thru the fall and winter. Now that it is spring for some reason the squirrels have figured out how to jump and land on the feeder. They are now having a great time eating the seed while keeping the birds away. The design is great in that the lid cannot be removed by the squirrels, however they really don't need to. They can just hand on and get all the seed they need. Will have to buy another design to defeat the squirrels.

Doesn’t prevent squirrels

It is a good feeder. But it hasn’t prevented squirrels. Squirrels have been taking all the feed out.

Easy to fill, looks good, except when the squirrels are hanging upside-down pulling the food out.

Okay but,....

Sturdy. Hangs well. Holds a lot of seed. But the lowest holes clog easily with snow and must be cleaned out often.

Squirrel proof

There are a great addition to my yard. Very pretty, and the squirrels can't chew through them like they did to 2 of my other feeders. The lid comes off easily to fill and I use a sponge bottle cleaner to clean.

Destroyed by squirrels in less than a week

Ultra-cheap construction: lid is extremely tough to remove without bending, and plastic is very fragile. Good seed capacity, though. We definitely won’t ever be buying this brand again — this supposedly squirrel-stumping feeder was destroyed by squirrels in about five days. We bought two other similarly-priced cage feeders at the same time and they’re both fine, far more solidly built, and are actually squirrel resistant — plus they’ve lasted more than a week. I rated two stars because the seed capacity is good, but I definitely don’t recommend this feeder.

Not Bird Friendly and Too Easy for Raccoons to Empty Out

This isn’t a good feeder. The birds have a hard time perching to eat seed and if you have raccoons in your area and they can reach your feeder, they turn it in it’s side and empty the entire thing on the ground. I’ve lost a couple of pounds of seed so far. It might keep squirrels away, but other than that, it doesn’t work for birds and is too easy an access for raccoons.

Looking for help with a refund please to buy other feeders that little birds can reach.

I would like a refund on the 2 Perky Pet Squirrel Stumpers. No little birds can get beak in feeder. I have emptied 3 times. Tried all types of bird feed All season wild bird feed, grubs , sunflower mixed or not mixed. I am heart broken. Since Covid we have been sitting on the front porch watching for birds to feed from those 2 bird feeders purchased. I have other feeders that attract all birds but not these 2 feeders Birds land but it has not once gone down any, yes not any. Would like to please get money refund so I may purchase other types At this point I am willing to get another type and put a squirrel deterrent. Any suggestions. Squirrels NOT stumped

Well, it took the squirrels under 15 mins to master this feeder; hang upside down on the handy dandy wire cage and use both front paws to help themselves to the delicious sunflower seeds sitting on the tray and within the dispensing ports, it was like an "all you can eat" buffet for them. Did the inventors of this design test the the features using actual squirrels? I suspect not. Anyway, very disappointing. Don't buy this feeder for the squirrel stumper feature.

a strong bird feeder BUT not squirrel proof at all

A godo sturdy easy to fill bird feeder but it is NOT squirrel proof. Pretty well the black squirrels easily climb onto the feeder upside down and devour the bird feed at the bottom within a day. Highly would Not recommend if you have squirrels around or you just might as well just throw out all the bird feed onto the ground for the squirrels.
