Amazing faucet that looks great and functions even better
We bought this faucet as we had been looking at it for quite a while. If you do some quick shopping around you will find that this thing ranges greatly in price. Most places have it listed for less than MSRP, but Amazon had it listed way way less. I was a bit skeptical, but it was sold by and shipped from Amazon so I felt confident that if there was an issue a return would be pretty simple. When the unit arrived it came in a non-retail type box. The box was your typical brown cardboard with minimal text on the outside of the box. Moen was on it as well as some quick details like the model number and such. The box was sealed with a single layer of tape so I am confident that this came straight from Moen like it was. When we opened the box all things were in plastic and in their respected places. The install was very straightforward. I would rather install a kitchen over a bathroom faucet any day of the week because you do not have to deal with the drain! We replaced a builder grade Moen unit so it was nice that this came with all of the tools to install as we needed one of them to uninstall the old unit that was in place. The install took me about 45 minutes to an hour, but if I had to do it again I am confident that it would not take any longer than 30 minutes. It was a very simple process and the instructions were very easy to follow along. I do have a few complaints with this one that I would normally just try and not think about. First, if you are on the sprayer and you turn off the water most faucets would default back to the regular flow, but this one does not seem to do that. When we turn the unit back on we tend to get a mix like it wants to switch back, but just doesn't quite make it. Second is the material of the pull down spray selector. This unit retails for almost $1000 and for that price I would expect that this thing be all metal. The pull down feels like a chunky piece of plastic. It is sturdy and well built, but does not have the same metal feel like the rest of the unit does. And finally, my biggest gripe here is that this thing runs on batteries out of the box. 6 or 8 of them if I remember correctly. Your hot and cold lines go into a blend unit that then plugs in with a headphone type port up to the handle. There is then a single water line out of this blend unit that lets the water travel up and out into the sink. If the batteries die your faucet dies along with it. Again for this price I feel like the power kit should be something that comes with it. I know not everyone is going to have a plug under their sink depending on their setup, but for the price I feel like it could have been included. Eventually we will break down and spend the $100 to get the power kit that runs off of AC power until your home loses power and then it will switch over to the batteries. All in all I would 100% buy this again and again. We love the unit, but wish that there were a few things that Moen would choose to upgrade / include with the purchase of this unit.

Touch less is worth it
It’s great not having to touch the handle everytime you need to wash your hands. I love this when I cook and touch raw meat I don’t have to worry about touching anything. It turns on right away and is sensitive so you don’t have to wave your hands there a bunch of times. It also has a long timer on it and it’ll shut off on its own but it stay on long enough to finish your task

DON’T BUY IT FOR LOOKS! (or features)
Review IS about this MOEN ALIGN, but there’s a back story, so keep reading until the end. I originally bought KHOLER R10651-SD-CP Sous Pro-Style to replace a similar ‘SPRING NECK’ style faucet that I bought on eBay for $35 - and for the $35 price it was VERY good, albeit never at the finish quality of the Kholer, which costs 8 times as much at $285 or so. Now, I bought the Kholer because after a year or so of use, the $35 faucet started gradually losing pressure w every month seeing a noticeable difference. I figured I should have never gone that cheap (it’s unlike me, I’m usually a brand/quality snob) & figured if I had spent the money I wouldn’t have had the issue. To remedy it, I started researching & found the aforementioned Kholer & figured it was the right brand & price as I have other Kholer faucets that look & function like new after 10 years of use. So I bought it here. It got home & installed it that same night. Took maybe about 35-50 minutes to install. I followed instructions to ‘flush’ water lines by removing shower head & running the water before operating faucet to prevent debris from getting caught on the filtering/aeration mechanism. All was good in the neighborhood for one day. The next day the aerator/shower head started SPLATTERING WATER all over the counter and backsplash - and it continued to do so. If I lowered the pressure via the faucet lever, then it’d do this non-aerated SOLID WATER STREAM (non-aerated - aeration is done to prevent splashing) that would contain ONE BIG AIR BUBBLE every 0.5-1 seconds & that hit the bottom of the sink & cause huge droplets of water to jump from bottom of the deep sink as much as 24” into the air, and which fly all over, splashing anything/anyone in sight. After I few days I got Amazon to send me a replacement faucet & I just swapped the aerator / shower head - this eliminated the more minor splattering originating right from the aerator. Hw, the air bubbles in the solid water stream, while diminished by 70%, were still present whenever I reduced the water volume (at 40-50% volume). Now this is when THIS MOEN FAUCET comes into play: So I then figured, this is not right, why should I spend $300 on a faucet and have it operate worse than a $35 one? I started research again & settled on the MOEN ALIGN 5923 - it looked great in pics & was of similar cost so I bought it here. When It arrived, there were immediately ‘visible’ quality issues: the valve lever to open/close water flow wouldn’t align neither when closed or fully open. Talk about MOEN’s slogan of “buy it for LOOKS, buy it for life”. I called Moen & they recommended sending it back to Amazon, and so I did & I got yet another replacement, and wait for it: it had the EXACT same issue!!! At this point I decided to install it anyway because that was purely cosmetic matter and it had a feature that I really wanted that the Kholer didn’t: a SHOWER STYLE STREAM - the Kholer has a similar feature, but it’s fan-shaped to ‘sweep’ debris, and ps, it’s messy, plus the moment you remove finger from button, it reverts to aerated stream. After installing the MOEN, it was immediately apparent the BIG DIFFERENCE IN AESTHETICS QUALITY vs KHOLER. The KHOLER LOOKED BEAUTIFUL, EXPENSIVE and VERY ‘OOMPHY’. MOEN ALIGN, honestly LOOKED IDENTICAL to the $35 FAUCENT and for all the hoopla about it’s different stream choices, it was hoaky at best; Plus its aerator/shower head also caused a significant amount of splash all over. It was obvious to me that Kholer was the winner, albeit FAR FROM PERFECT, at least you CAN’T GO PAST the KHOLER and NOT NOTICE IT - it says LOOK AT ME; KHOLER does stay true to their slogan: “The Bold Look of Kholer” UNLIKE the MOEN ALIGN, which you wouldn’t even notice its there; Plus it’s VERY GENERIC LOOKING and FORGETTABLE. I will say that the MOEN PHOTOGRAPHS WAY BETTER than it looks in person. Something else to consider about the Align, its valve mechanism is located VERY LOW with relation to the counter top so it’s VERY difficult to keep ‘IT’, and AROUND IT, clean, vs KHOLER’s LEVER/VALVE, which sits very high up & rarely even gets splashed. Keeping the Kholer shiny & clean is a snap. So until I find something else, I’d rate the Kholer 5 in style, 3 function/features. Hw, do note that precise water flow may not be easy to control if you have high pressure water into your home - if so, you need to control the pressure it receives via the water valves under your sink. The Moen Align I rate 3 in style (generic) and 3.5 in function/features. Note that even its ability to ‘pull out’ the hose is quirky at best - the weight it brings is not heavy enough to help retract the hose in place; and if you add an extra weight, then it’s too much and if the hose slips out of your hand, it them SLAMS into gooseneck sprint at a suicidal speed LOL!!! Also, unlike KHOLER’s SUPER EASY MAGNETIC DOCKING (you just need to bring it close by and it ‘docks’), docking MOEN’s head in its housing takes a more CONCERTED effort and aim. It’s also hard to keep spotless. Needless to say, I sent this MOEN back and kept the Kholer despite all its shortcomings. I hope this helps you decide ;)

Easy install, beautiful faucet
So glad we could find this on Amazon for a comparable price to other vendors. It arrived quickly and was super easy to install. The motion sensor works great and we like the button for switching flow styles.

Beautiful and functional
Love the way this looks and works. Feels infinitely durable. My only gripe is a small one - the sprayer function lacks the same pressure my previous sprayer had. Not sure what to attribute that to.

Hands free and perfect color
The media could not be loaded. Very easy install with the tool Moen supplied. Matte blk goes perfectly with my kitchen handles which I was worried about. I think I will get the plug in for the hands free instead of worrying about batteries. Just know it doesn't come with and I didn't see it when I went to add this in my cart. I'll do a little sleuthing and find it I'm sure. I like that it's not a huge spray vs a more streamline spray. Just as powerful but I don't have to worry about it water going all over. I did a bunch of research into the different brands and models. This one had good reviews not just on Amazon and I'm glad to say it's holding up to the reviews.

Time will tell
Newly Installed. I trust and use Moen faucets elsewhere. The color is gold as expected and looks great. It’s simple and elegant. If issues exist they’ll appear within a year. Zero problems replacing or fixing Moen in the past.

Faucet not working
once installed it not working. no water coming and the sensor light didn't even turn on. there is nothing you can do, you can't even by-pass the electrical sensor box to have water. pay $600 for a not working unit.

Flawless and built to last
After trying a cheap $100 Off brand faucet, that leaked from the cartridge and the hoses, I bit the bullet. Got this in gold. Easy to install due to a plastic tool for tightening that comes in the box, saving ungodly frustration and knuckle-skinning. Works exactly as you expect it to. Motion sensor works when the tap is “off” which makes it useful. Doesn’t drip. Not made by complete meatballs. Solid brass. Expensive but recommended.

Love this faucet
The black faucets are always pricier, but this one is worth it. Easy to install, looks great, great functionality.
