Easy upkeep

Make sure when you replenish the liquid soap, all you have to do is lift the pump out and pour. The first time I thought I had to unhook from the bottom, which is extremely tedious. It's so easy...smh.

Really Nice

I bought this to replace a fourteen year old soap dispenser that had come apart. This one is definitely an upgrade from the old one. The hardest part of the installation was getting the old one out. I saw cheaper ones and thought about purchasing one of those, then I realized they were plastic. Definitely didn't want that. This one is all metal and looks great.

Very High Quality, Works Smoothly. An Installation Tip!

I have gone through various built-in soap dispensers over the past couple years. Most cost about $20. Some operated smoothly and some did not. All failed too soon. I saw this Moen unit rated very highly on an independent review site, so I decided to try it. The build quality on this unit seems very high. It feels like the pump head is all metal although I cannot be certain. The pump itself is plastic. It operates extremely smoothly. Start pushing the pump head and there is just smooth motion and great control over the amount of soap dispensed. Despite the neck of the bottle seeming narrow it is easy to fill with liquid soap. I was able to squeeze the supply bag so the soap flowed into the bottle very quickly without a bubble forming and soap back-flowing out of the bottle. So, it can be filled very quickly. Yes, it is more expensive than many other options. But I am impressed with the quality and operation. I think it is worth the price and expect it will last a long time. Installation tip: The printed directions are, well, terrible. Lots of pictures, each part in the pictures carefully labelled with a number or letter, and no instructions on what to do. Really, Moen - get your act together on providing usable instructions. As is typical with built-in soap dispensers this comes in several parts that must be assembled. No tools needed. The bottle assembly is easily attached to the vanity / sink. The pump assembly is in three parts - pump head (the part you see and push to get soap), the inline pump, and a tube that connects to the pump and extends into the soap bottle to draw up soap. The pump press fits into a hole on the bottom of the pump head. It is a really tight fit. I called Moen before pressing so hard, and they told me this is what's needed and the pump rarely breaks. So I stood the pump on a flat surface, placed the pump head in place, and pushed down really hard. The pump did indeed press all the way into the pump head. If you want a high-quality built-in soap dispenser that seems likely to last a long time deal with the poor instructions and give this unit a try.

Looks great and ready to install

Delivered fast and easy to install. I was replacing one that we bought several years ago that stopped working properly. Matched the old one just fine and looks great.

Moen is simply the best, and the only plumbing fixtures we trust, based on 30 years of experience!

We remodeled our kitchen a bit, and I wanted to add 2 soap dispensers to the sink, one for dish liquid and another for hand soap. Just these 2 easy-fill-from-the-top, quality pumps has made a very pleasant change. My kitchen sink is now clutter free, and I no longer have soap-goo puddles to clean up. If they did drip, which they don't, any soap would drop right into the sink to be rinsed easily away. I had previously purchased a soap dispenser from Lowes, some $15 off-brand, and the first one lasted only a matter of a few weeks before the pump failed catastrophically. I returned it for exchange, and tried another with advice from the salesperson to pull the pump once a week and run hot water through it. I very strictly followed this advice, but even so, the new pump lasted only a couple of months! Determined to have the convenience of in-sink pumps, I turned to Moen, and to date, I have not been disappointed. They work flawlessly, fill simply, and I couldn't be happier. Should my joy EVER turn to dismay, I will definitely return to this review to report the problem, as well as Moen's response. Moen is the ONLY company whose plumbing products I will ever use again. I've been burned by Kohler, Delta, and Price-Pfister, but in 30 years of experience with Moen, NONE of their products have EVER failed. Frankly, I would be shocked to my core if my Moen fixtures ever gave me an ounce of trouble.

Very nicely made, installs in a jiffy.

The Moen soap and lotion dispenser is a great way to make use of any extra holes your sink or countertop may have. Heck, even if you don't have a hole for it, it's probably worth drilling one since this dispenser is much nicer than any plastic dispensers and works well. The dispenser installs without tools in about 10 minutes. You simply screw it onto the sink, attach the bottle, prime the pump with water, and then you're good to go. You add soap by removing the pump head and pump assembly and squirting the soap into the tank below the sink. The dispenser is very nicely made, and is dense and solid in the hand. The metal used is thick and substantial. The Moen's finish is also superb. In use it works smoothly and dispenses soap in large or small amounts easily. One thing I really like about this dispenser is that the pump part covers the trim piece below, so that when water runs off of your hands and down the pump it doesn't go into the bottle below the sink, diluting the soap. Our old dispenser, and indeed most, is designed the opposite way where the pump head sits inside the wider sink trim piece. The only disappointment this Moen had was a broken pump assembly out of the box. I called Moen and they sent me a new assembly, no questions asked, and it works great. All in all... a stylish and useful addition to your sink area.

Outstanding Product

Replace my cheap Lowe's generic soap dispenser with this. I was surprised by the high quality and much better soap dispensing. I will be saving a lot on liquid soap since this Moen dispenser does such a fine job.

As described - Looks great!

The pump head is solid (heavy). Installation was a breeze. Works without any issues, from day one. I particularly like the low profile and, the long spout - very practical. Will have to wait to see durability but based on my experience with other Moen products, that should not be an issue.

Work well and bigger soap container.

So far it pumps out smoothly It was easier to install than the previous one we had. We liked the easy to twist nut. The soap container is bigger than our last one, so less refills.

Solid construction

Poorly packaged

Nice looking pump, but he way it is placed into the packaging is very poor. We had to get a second one as the first was broken in a number of places. and even then the second one came broken where the collar goes through the counter top. I ended up gluing it. Moen needs to either part assemble or redesign the internal packaging. The heavy upper pump portion smashes the lower portion, marking it up and breaks the weak plastic piece that goes through the counter top.
