Acceptable Product with small modification
I agree with some of the other reviews posted that the product design could have been implemented with tighter tolerances. The pump handle has significant side-to-side movement when used. I "solved" that issue by installing two appropriately sized O-rings, on the inner pump shaft which eliminated most of the unwanted movement. I like the look of the product.

Wobbly Head
I suppose I just expected more from Hansgrohe.......especially for the price. The finish is very nice and it installed just fine. What bothers me is that when you depress the head to bring the soap up, there is a lot of side to side play. Of course there needs to be some side to side clearance, but it just feels sloppy. However, it does function fine.

They look fantastic together. Will update with photos after remodel is ...
After installing this unit into new granite countertop slabs, I find the top portion a bit "wiggly" for my taste (meaning side-to-side motion). My preference aside, the dispenser is a strong and well built product. I purchased this to compliment the Hansgrohe Talis C Faucet (Steel Optik). They look fantastic together. Will update with photos after remodel is complete.

Sturdier and easier to install than the $20 version at bix box stores.
Heavy, sturdy, very easy to install. The screw-clamp portion of this device is all plastic (the nut and the threaded rod it goes onto), but it is about 3" longer than most of the lightweight cheapie versions of soap pumps available in the big box stores. This makes it a lot easier to install, plus the clamp nut is designed to be tightened by hand with finger "wings" to push/grab. The cheap versions need a wrench, and if you've tried to install one of these with a wrench after a sink is installed in the counter, you will appreciate the finger--tightening nut. There simply isn't enough room to get your hands plus a wrench in there without being made of rubber. Hansgrohe clearly designed around this difficulty as well as they could. The metal portion of the pump is very heavy and sturdy and the nozzle is long enough to get the soap into the sink rather than onto the counter; another shortfall of the cheap versions.

Find a supply of plastic pumps or this is a doorstop.
Pro: Matches my Hansgrohe steel optik kitchen faucet almost perfectly. Dilute your soap unless you buy the cheap stuff. Con: Longevity remains to be seen. Update (12/15/16): Plastic pump part only lasted about 8 months. Now, it just spits out tiny amounts of soap and sticks in the down position. I tried soaking it in vinegar and spraying it with WD40. At over $52, it is not worth buying unless you can get a replacement pump like you can for cheaper soap dispensers. My 2008 version was still working after 5 years. I tried to contact them: Hansgrohe support at 8003340455 or techservice@hansgrohe.com. They were closed for 2 weeks. Update 2 (1/5/17): They sent me an email with a warranty form to fill out and return. I, and probably thousands of others, just want to know where to buy a new plastic pump. Is that too much to ask? Other brands sell them for as little as $3.00.

Good Quality
So far, so good. We don't use it a lot but it matches our faucet and that's the reason we bought it.

Looks nice but doesn't actually work well
We have had this for less than 6 months and sometimes it just doesn't work. The spring inside doesn't expand so when you press on it no soap comes out. Even when working perfectly the amount of soap dispensed is minimal. Looks nice but doesn't actually work well. Who has time for that?

Listen to reviews. Not worth the money. No longer pumps.
We purchased this about a year ago to match our facuet and have had nothing but problems with it. Now it no longer pumps at all. Not worth the money. All the reviews say the same problem with the pump.
