Nice for water
Use this to mix up my nutrient water for my plants, works very well!

Worked great and was inexpensive!
I had some old paint that needed a serious mixing, so I thought I'd try one of these. Bought this one because it was a well known brand and was not expensive. I am very pleased! It did a great job, with good mixing and NO SPATTER!

Bought for quarts, works great for quarts
Received my order, as I intended to use it to mix QUARTS of paint. Mixes very well for quart size, as it does not bring the paint over the rim of the qt. can. (Not too much mixing power). Easy to clean when used with water based paint (have not tried oil.) 2" size works with a 1/4" drill (I used cordless). For the price (practically disposable), it can't be beat. I use larger sizes/others for gallons.

Cheap and it works...kinda
I was feeling cheap when I bought this and it does work, just not very well. I would recommend buying a better, more aggressive stirring tool. Or...if you are feeling cheap like I was, this is the tool for you!

Plastic paddle not connected to metal shaft.
The metal shaft has some shallow grooves in the end, presumably this is how it is supposed be attached to the plastic paddle/stirrer part. As soon as I submerged the paddle end in the half gallon of paint and engaged the drill, the paddle end spun off the shaft into the paint. I fished it out and threw it in the trash.

Great Compact Mixer
This mixer is good for quarts and gallons but I imagine it will take longer to mix a gallon. The price is a no brainer and you can keep it as a back up if anything. To this day I still can't understand why companies put sticker labels directly on products. Why does it need a sticker label for shipping?

Outstanding Value for Mixing 1-Gallon and Smaller
For the price, you just can't beat this. The churner is non-metallic, but it seems well made and is affixed to the shaft in a secure manner. Obviously, this is too small for 5-gallon pails, but for quarts and gallons, I think it's just fine.

Works, but did not see the time savings
So the good. It arrived unbroken and is solid. The gallon size on a gallon can took a lot of up and down and round and round to get a mix. Which is why I'm not sure it actually saved me any time from the old stick shift. On really thin liquids like water urethane maybe. Thicker stuff just led to way too small a vortex to pull and move stuff. One odd note. I was expecting this to throw paint like a peaceful protest. It didn't hardly at all unless I just completely yanked it out.
