Does Not Always Work

It usually works OK but not every time. Sometimes you have to lock / unlock / lock a few times to get it to work right. If I had it to do over I would have spent a few more dollars and bought a Schlage brand.

Quick and easy to install. Looks and works great!

This lock is quick and easy to install and it looks and works great! The only problem I had was that I couldn't find the programming instructions so I quickly posted a question here as to how to do so and a reply was waiting for me in the morning. Turns out that they're pasted to the inside of the battery cover. Good thinking. That makes them hard to lose. That also makes the print very small and difficult to read for some people. My smart phone solved that problem! The same lock also came with the MiLocks BTF-02P Digital Deadbolt Door Lock and Passage Handle Set Combo that arrived with it for my new front door. (That review will be a few months away.) If you're on a budget, get one.

If confused please read

I was about to send this back until I read another review that said the lock and unlock are reversed. I tried it and BINGO!! Since it looks good and seems to be a solid lock I'm happy to deal with this little quirk. Plus side it will confuse anyone trying to break in! Lol

Locks well

Well all was good but the lock and unlock buttons are reversed, which is like another security check, but you have to remember or you're locked out. Just a funny fluke but I did get a discount and now I know why... Lol

Maybe not the best choice

Bought one and it worked 3-4 months then some of numbers wouldn't work so had to reset with different numbers. Second set of numbers worked about 9-10 months and could never get unit to work again. Bought new unit and it's working fine but only been installed 4 months so we'll see. No mfg help at all when unit failed, changed batteries, changed batteries, worked with key but they wouldn't replace.

Does the primary locking job very well and securely.

Very attractive brass finnish. Strong motor utilized to activate the bolt in both lock and unlock positions. Does the primary job of secure locking without the unnecessary "smart" functions offered with the more expensive alternatives.

Directions are minimalist

While locks like these are somewhat simple to install.The operating instructions "SUCK!" I lost my mind trying to get the lock to function properly. The lock/unlock function was reversed. Being it was Sunday, I screwed around an hour trying to get to work correctly, as I couldn't call customer support. So Monday morning, I call the 800 number, and first thing "ON their Recording is" "IF your lock/unlock function is reversed, please slide the 1/2 switch to the other position!" AH,.. DUH.. no where on the Instructions does it even talk about that switch. Gee, would have be great if noted on the Troubleshoot part!" This over-sight is a little uncalled for!

Love it, should have bought it years ago.

We bought two of them one for the back garage and one for the front door and we just love it. We should buy one more for the back door with a treat not having to carry keys around anymore

That I receive what was advertised as per my order.

It arrived as a different color than what I had ordered. It was a dark finish not the silver/gold satin that I wanted. Fortunately my customer was ok with it, so I installed it. Everything else with the product was percect.

Inferior quality!!!

Purchased this deadbolt for a replacement to a previous one that stopped working. Installed early June 2022 and already some of the numbers are not working when pressing the keypad. The deadbolt is protected from the weather so not sure what the issue is but I am extremely disappointed!!!
