Happy with this purchase
Very pleased at the quality and look of this product. Especially for the price. We installed on our new home and installation was so simple and easy.

We didn't like it
Pretty excited when we opened the box it looks really nice. However I only gave it to three stars because here are the issues. The instructions are minimal at best We did go online and watch a video and that helped but the screws for the door knob portion can't be put in the holes because of their length, we had to figure out if there was a way to remove the door knob itself because the instructions don't tell you that. We were able to disengage the knob and put the screws in to secure it to the door. But one screw won't go all the way in and the screws are silver for a rubbed bronze door knob. So that's an eyesore that we'll fix later when we can get to a hardware store. The mechanism seems to work electronically when we check it, we did everything as the instructions said it works fine with the key and it works fine manually. But when we attach everything the deadbolt will not retract all the way in which leaves you locked out of the house. You can use your key to get the deadbolt to go all the way in but then there's no point in the keypad. We tried adjusting the deadbolt, making sure it was centered etcetera etcetera and after many hours we just decided wasn't worth it. So I ordered just a plain deadbolt today. We're not going to return it because we already have that door knob in place and we like the looks of it on the new door. My excitement at having a keyless door entry is gone now and I'll just be happy on Tuesday when the deadbolt comes and I hope it matches the door that portion. We are not new to this kind of work, we have built three houses and renovated two.

Easy install, looks super professional and expensive, but on a budget!
This deadbolt and knob set was perfect! I have a historic home, so keeping things with an authentic look is very important. But after locking myself out of the house (or the dogs locking me out) a million times, it was time for a change. This was extremely easy to install and looks gorgeous, like it was designed for an older but modernized home. The quality of the materials is phenomenal, and the instructions are very helpful. It didn't take me long to install this and I will probably be doing the same for my back door and detached garage at some point!

Keyless lock?
I really wanted to love this but it works very inconsistently. Sometimes I think it is locked but it isn’t, and other times it won’t unlock and I have to use the key. It is not reliable enough to not keep a key available so it is really no better than a regular lock. I still gave it 3 stars because when it does work I love it!

Works great outdoors... Some trouble with latching... But overall a good product!
It looks beautiful and stylish on our door. The color is rich and beautiful... But sometimes more difficult to lock. Must slam the door a few times and really listen to make sure it latched. Also typing in the code doesn't always open it... Have to type it in a few times and then it opens.. Otherwise works great and would recommend... Is on our outside door and holds up to the weather well.

Easy install
Had this installed in about 20 minutes. The instructions were clear with diagrams to follow. Its a good quality door knob with a heavy weight to it. Has been installed for about 2-3 months with no issues.

Happy with my purchase
I installed the lock on Saturday May 2 and on Tuesday May 5 someone tried to break into my home. Thanks to the lock they 3 kicks they did had no effect on the lock and kept the out. Which thanks to my Ringdoor bell they are sitting in jail.

Functional but…
The locking function worked well but the coloured face plate where the key fits in fell off after a couple days! So it was a silver lock showing there. We were moving so didn’t have time to return and reorder and reinstall.
