Great + weighted for rolling out muscles and T bands

Unconventional use… Forget the kitchen, use this in the gym! I kept using my dumbbells at the end of a workout to roll out my thigh muscles, hips, T bands, knee ligaments, etc. I hate struggling with typical rollers because the act of rolling a muscle out is so relaxing, but the act of hovering your entire body or half of it over a tiny roller couldn’t be less relaxing - and exhausting. But it occurred to me, abs I think I’ve heard of this before, to just take a rolling pin, preferably a weighted one like this, I think it’s 4 pounds, and roll your muscles out after a workout! Especially when you get to your 30s 40s 50s. And for women, menopause gives us sore hips all of a sudden, very annoying. I love lying on the couch and gently rolling this out while I watch TV, or in bed, etc.

Lighter Green

This is a Very nice marble rolling pin. Only issue for me is that the color is a lighter green than I would have liked.

ALMOST Perfect

Unfortunately my rolling pin came with a chunk out of it. No marble dust or pieces in packaging so it must have been already chipped when shipped. It won’t interfere with my baking so I’ll live with it. Other than that it’s perfect. I like a rolling pin with weight and it has that.

Beautiful tool

Love the color. I got this to match my grinder and cutting board. Love the wooden stand. I wish the handles were more solid. Having two ends that aren’t as solid as the hefty marble seems like a big oversight. But the marble for rolling dough is amazing!

Cool

The roller stays cool which helps when rolling out pastry. Love the rest that comes with it, can put on my shelf without worrying about it rolling away.

Great Product

Beautiful, sturdy, and works as expected. Not difficult considering that it’s just a rolling pin. But the green marble looks great on the counter and in the kitchen.

Family Feud

My grandmother passed well over a decade ago, and with her passing my aunts started a feud about who had her rolling pin; it was nothing fancy, just a plain old wooden rolling pin. Looks just like my old one. It was brought up at every family gathering, “no! *I* have her rolling pin!! She gave it to me before she died!” “Oh no no no!! She gave it to me!” Well that old bat must have had 2 rolling pins and planned this! And it continued. I can only imagine the private conversations between the two, because it never ended! The feud continued, even on one of my aunts’ death bed! “She gave it to me!” And at her funeral, last year, my surviving aunt brought that plain old rolling pin to the service. She waved it above her head and proclaimed that this was the rightful rolling pin. It was *hers* and nobody else could dispute it any longer! I only hope, that this rolling pin, has the legacy of those. And my future children feud over it much the same.

Seems ok but handles loose

I bought this as a gift for a friend because I have a marble rolling pin and love it. This one seems ok. Nice and heavy and very pretty. My only complaint is that the handles are quite wobbly. Not nearly as sturdy as my rolling pin. Hopefully it works for my friend.

Great heavy rolling pin

I have a variety of rolling pins for different tasks. This is great for shortcrust pastry, as marble is naturally very resistant to sticking. It can be placed in the fridge or freezer ahead of time to make it extra cold for rolling pastry dough. The weight means that less effort is needed on my end. It is very easy to wipe it clean. It comes with a small wooden stand to prevent it from rolling around. Only complaint would be that the centre steel rod could be more robust. The handles feel like they have a bit of give in them. Not sure how that will last overtime, but I also dont have any other rolling pins with handles, so if it breaks, I am assuming the marble pin itself should still be solid and fine. Mine has no obvious fissures or weak spots in the marble. For the price, I was very happy with this pin. It suits my needs, and as an added bonus, it is very attractive green marble which goes well in my kitchen.
